Appearance: Shoulder length bright red hair(like Misty's in color), dark brown eyes, very light skin, a few freckles, and is slightly short and thin. Thinks she looks perfect, but she does not. Favorite outfit: thin light blue shirt with jeans and purple earrings. Always brings a deep blue suitcase with wheels and backpack straps on it with her.

Personality: Heather is a very smart girl, but would rather be friendly than always prove everyone wrong. She likes having fun more than anything, but cant stand heights. If forced into a battle she may panic. When in a dangerous situation, she may break down, but will defend her friends if she has to. She likes being in a small group of no more than 4 people, otherwise she can't think straight and will mess up if pressured to much. If she meets a new pokemon, she wont battle it right away. She will sit and think about the pokemon's strengths and weaknesses and make her decisions based on facts.

Goals: Wants to find rare and cute pokemon, and wants to be the best with the pokemon she chooses, not what is the strongest.

Role-play Sample: A girl blinks the blinding light from her eyes as a shape shakes her awake. As her father's Gallade comes into focus, she sits up in her bed, hitting her head against gallade's head. As she hops out of bed, her red hair coming out of the loose braid it was tied in, she runs to her closet, pulls out her favorite outfit, and heads downstairs for breakfast. When she gets downstairs, a calendar faces her. As she checks the date one last time, she heads to the kitchen. Grabbing a bagel, she whispers, "At least dad is not up. He always burns it." Quietly heading to the door, a voice behind her speaks. "Going so soon, Heather? The suns hardly up! Your pokemon can wait!" "Dad, I can't wait much longer. I can't wait to leave beyond the forest, to find new friends! Don't you understand?" A long pause followed. "I do, Heather. Just... just wait a little while. the pokemon can wait for you."

Well... shoot...

I can honestly say I was going to have a drastically different character for this RP. But as I was writing out his sign-up, my browser crashed and I lost everything... le sigh...

Anyways, I wasn't in the best of moods today as it was, and I don't feel like writing it all over again. So instead, I'm going to take this sign-up I wrote a while back for a different RP and use it, edited to fit within the confines of this one, of course.

Name: Malachi Lee
Age: 15
Gender: Male

Appearance: Malachi is around 5'10", with an average frame. He has shorter, pitch-black hair that is slightly ruffled and swept to the side, giving him a young, rebellious look; his long bangs would cover his eyes if they were not swept to the side. Malachi has smaller, brown eyes, with light skin that is slightly tanned, but only barely so. His body build is average over-all, without being over-weight or too thin. Personal looks are not important to him, being perfectly content to just run his hand through his hair, throw on a T-shirt and some loose jeans and call it a day.

On most days, Malachi wears a simple T-shirt with loose fitting jeans that drape slightly over his sneakers make up the entirety of his lower-body, with simple black and grey lace sneakers on his feet. On colder days, a black zipper-hoodie will usually be worn on top of his normal clothes.

I'm a writer, not a visual artist, dangit! :P

Personality: Malachi is a very friendly and generally nice guy, assuming you get to know him. He's rather shy and distant, preferring to keep to himself most of the time. He has only a few close friends, with most everybody else being considered only acquaintances, and as a result few people know him very well. He'd like to have more friends, but is usually too shy to really introduce himself to new people. Once someone is considered a good friend though, Malachi really opens up. To his friends, Malachi is friendly, polite, and a nice guy to just chill with. A good listener and, usually, a very relaxed person.

For better or worse, Malachi is also opinionated. He is dead set in his beliefs, morals, and goals, and it is extremely hard, if not impossible, to sway him from his views and opinions unless presented with clear and undeniable evidence showing him to be wrong/misguided. To most outsiders, this makes Malachi seem a bit arrogant, though it's just how he is. Perhaps the strangest quirk is his cynicism regarding himself. When it comes to other people, Malachi tries to encourage them and make them feel better about themselves, but regarding himself he is very cynical, hardly ever expecting a good outcome from his own actions. He's not depressed, as he can have a lot of fun with friends, just less-than-optimistic regarding important life decisions.

Goals: Malachi is looking for adventure first and foremost. While winning the pokemon league and "becoming a pokemon master" are all well and good, it's not his main goal. He wants something to break away from the monotony of "normal" life, and at the moment, a pokemon journey sounds like the perfect thing for him to really experience something new.

The smell of alcohol and tobacco smoke hung heavy in the air, permeating the atmosphere with their unique scents. Most people found bars to be less-than-pleasant, considering the types of people who often frequented them. However, Leo felt perfectly at home in this environment.

The Wartortle sat at a smaller table towards the back of the bar. A small deck of playing cards stood in the center of the table, neatly stacked. Leo had a smug expression on his face as he looked at the cards he held in his hand. Across the table from Leo was a Raichu, also holding cards in his hand with an equally confident grin on his face.

"Here we go, for the third and final set," Leo said with a smile, reaching for the deck in the center and taking the top card, flipping it over on the table, to the right of the deck, face up. "Six."

The Raichu repeated the motion, drawing from the center and placing the card on the left side of the deck face up. "One," he said plainly. Leo flipped over another card, revealing a five, adding up the total of his two cards.

"Eleven."

The Raichu nodded before once again repeating the motion on the opposite side of the deck, drawing a four and adding it to the one he already drew. "Five."

The two kept this up, drawing cards in turn and adding the values of their respective sides together. Leo drew again. "Twelve."

"Fifteen."

"Seventeen."

"Nineteen, and I stand," The Raichu said, looking at the Wartortle with a grin. "Beat that!"

Leo drew again, drawing a five, bringing his total to twenty-two. The Raichu began to laugh slightly, but Leo kept smiling, not fazed by the result.

"Not so fast," Leo said, pulling one of the cards from his hand and placing it on his side of table: a two of clubs. "Subtract two, and that makes twenty. Which means… oh! Right, I win."

"Oh yeah?" The Raichu said, still grinning as he tossed a few coins Leo's way. "You just got lucky, and your luck is about to run out! Best five out of nine?"

"If you insist," Leo replied, returning the cards to the deck and shuffling it. Even though Leo had come here to look for Captain Toro, he couldn't help but get distracted. It was in his nature, especially when there was money to be made. He placed the deck back in the center, the two of them beginning their game anew.

As they continued playing, Leo couldn't help but notice how incredibly crowded this bar was. Though he had never been here before, he suspected it wasn't always this way. There were a lot of pokemon around; some getting plastered at the bar, singing in a drunken stupor as they waved their glasses about, others gambling at the tables, much like Leo. He took a look towards the entrance, seeing what appeared to be a Blaziken enter the bar with a hat covering his head.

"Hmm, could that be…?" Leo wondered to himself. From his seat at the far end of the room, he couldn't get a good enough view at the man to accurately determine his identity. He kept staring for a moment, until a sharp tapping at his table grabbed his attention.

"Hey, it's your go," the Raichu said impatiently, still wearing his confident grin. "I got good cards this time. You're going down!"

"In your dreams!" Leo exclaimed, turning his attention back towards the game at hand.

Other: Malachi has a strong preference for waffles. xD

Okay then, I'm taking Porygon. Let's rewrite my character profile, shall we?

Name: William Bill Parton.
Appearance:

Height and weight: Roughly 6'2", weighs 143 pounds.
Age: 16 (yes I changed it :))
Personality: Bill is cheerful, but not very relaxed. Whenever he sees or hears something scary, he freaks out. He is rather unoptimistic, yet he looks forward to the future at the same time. He isn't to smart, but in a mental sense. I. E. he never thinks things through before doing them (that includes talking). He is, however, very good at math (though if you ask me a math question, I'm grabbing a calculator and using the results as his answer).
Starter: Porygon. He named it Static (if I can make him do that).
Backstory: When William was 10, his father, Alexander A. Parton, was bitten by a wild Arbok. Unfortunately, he did not survive this.
Family: His family consists of his 5-year old little sister, Wendy W. Parton, and his mother, Andry H. Parton.
Sample: Okay, so I admit. I haven't been in any other roleplays yet. This is sorta my first go round. So, here is a sample (if I am playing this, this is my first turn)
William B. Parton woke up that morning to make a very important decision. Today he was going to get a Pokemon. He had been denying it to long; he needed to get one at some point. Ever since his father's death, he had been... scared to get a Pokemon. They scared him. But now , he thought, I am going to get one.
He checked his sister's bed. Wendy was not there. What? he pondered. Where is she?. Confused and somewhat annoyed, he walked downstairs. There was his sister, eating breakfast at the table with his mother. "Good morning," said Andry-his mother.
"Mother," Bill replied, "I've decided."
"Decided what?"
Bill gulped. "I've decided to get a Pokemon."

That should be good enough for ya. Also, can Pokemon speak English in this?

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Mozilla has long blonde hair that reaches to about his waist, and purple/white eyes. He generally wears boots with large white t-shirts, and blue jeans. His bag is a simple brown leather ragged traveling bag,and he has a large black jacket. His back is covered in scars. He stands at 6'4''

Personality: Mozilla isn't particularly anti social as much as socially awkward. He often pauses as he speaks, however he is thoughtful and for the most part can get along with almost anyone. He loses this lag in speech when he is really into a subject or when he going off on a tangent. He is highly against the abuse of females, and often fights with a male he discovers is beating one. He oddly enough does not care about females doing the same, feeling that its retribution on the males for what they have done. He doesn't show emotions often, and seems to not have any, he is however a master at faking them. He sees men as pigs, and feels the same way about children as he does women.

Goals: Mozilla wishes to learn more as he lacked education growing up. He also wishes to gain strength to protect others.

Starter: Porygon.

Mozilla had followed orders down to the letter. It was difficult to do though when he had sensed two more monsters come by. The moment they had, his concentration on making sure his wires worked the way they needed them to had failed for a moment. His eyes started hurting slightly though when the monsters left he started feeling better. At one point there must have been an earthquake because he felt slight shaking, what made it worse though was a branch from a tree fell down, knocking him on the head. When he put his hand to the wound he could feel blood, though that hadn't mattered at that moment. When Sycom had blasted the monster, thus killing it, the criminal could not hear for a few moments, and actually felt some blood trickle from his ears. He let himself fall to the ground at the beach, waiting for the ringing to stop and to be able to hear again. He was also waiting for his vision to return to normal, which it decided to take its sweet time.

Of course it never got the chance to finish as they were soon on the move to help Team B. He couldn't help but slightly hope that Vlad was dead or in serious pain. It would make all this worth it. Of course he didn't get the chance to see that. The moment they arrived the two monsters that had bypassed them were there, along with the one Team B had been fighting. He felt a horrible sick feeling come over him, and could not control his vision. Normally what he needed to see was clear, but with the three monsters and possibly effects of Sycom's blast earlier along with the branch, his vision was not well. He could not concentrate, too much was blurry, and he just felt too sick to move too much. He was suddenly rendered useless, fighting the pain that was attacking his eyes.

Never had he felt so useless as he could only listen to the sounds around and watch blurry shapes, unsure of what was going on. He felt relief at the sound of helicopters, watching the blurred shapes finish off the monsters, managing to get his vision under control for a moment. Instantly he regretted trying. He managed to see one clear thing and that was Reino sacrificing himself for Hime and Sycom. He watched motionless, powerless, unable to say anything. He wished he could have done something more, but all he could do was watch for that moment.

He silently let the agents lead him to where he had to go, not even caring enough to try to talk to Cias. He was exhausted from the non stop fighting, from his injuries, from his abilities, from the pain that still plagued his vision, still blurred it, but most of all from feeling useless. All he hoped for was that Reino would be okay. When they arrived back at the facility, he let the doctors take him to the infirmary, due to being compliant they didn't induce him into a coma. The moment they finished and told him to lay down, he did. His vision had cleared up but only slightly. At that point he wasn't sure what was causing it. He hadn't even told the doctors that it was still blurry. He simply ignored the pain, refusing to take pain meds, and let himself fall into slumber.

He probably should have asked for something that prevented dreams since they plagued his sleep. Nightmares to be exact. Nightmares of his family, and of the day's events. They hadn't been ready. That was the mistake in it all. Even if some knew each other, they had just met that day. They had no training, no full knowledge of each other to utilize the best course of action. In some cases no experience with the monsters. The nightmares prayed off these thoughts, just becoming worse and worse.

He fell in and out of sleep for a full day until he finally woke up. Most of the pain was minor numbing he was used to. At this point his vision was back to normal but he still felt a slight sting in it. He rose from the bed, removing anything the doctor's put in him and found that the doctors hadn't bothered changing him. No need to either. Below his waist was the same clothing from that day, above he was shirtless since that was where any injuries he had were. He probably didn't smell to well either, and his hair definitely needed washed. Uncaring of what he looked like he left the room, finding his and showering, just sitting and letting the water run over him. He watched as mud and dirt ran down the drain from his hair, even a leaf or two. It meant they concentrated their efforts on worse injuries like Reino. That made him glad.

When he finally finished he dressed and started walking around, exploring the new wing they were in. He wonder how Cias, Reino, and even Sycom were fairing. He briefly remembered the child that Sycom had asked him to mentor. He wondered what would happen with that child now. He looked around finding some agents and asking them for updates on everything that had happened. He found out about the shift from Dahlila to Sycom. He can't say he cared for her. From what he remembered she had been yelling at the new leader, blaming him for what had happened to Reino. Which speaking of which he could not seem to get an update on the guy. With a sigh he simply continued to walk around, eventually finding the kitchen. Considering he hadn't eaten anything since right before the battle, he should probably eat something.

Other: Good thing there was no history section. His history isn't pretty.

"What do you mean?" Bill replied in a worried tone.
"it's just that you have been terrified of Pokemon ever since..."
"I know," Bill interrupted. "But, I just feel like I have to."
"Okay then. You can go."
Bill started to walk off, but then he heard his mother say "Wait. Come back here first."
Bill followed his mother as she led him to a small closet. She opened the closet, then handed Bill a small bottle full of a purple fluid.
Bill gulped. "Arbok antivenom," stated Bill. His mother simply smiled, then gave Bill a flashlight.
"Yes," said Andry, "I am worried in more than just the one way." She gave a chuckle, then said, "Bill, please, be safe."
"Yes mother," said Bill. "I will"
He hugged his mother as a form of goodbye, then went into the kitchen to say goodbye to his little sister before starting off on his journey.
"Wendy..." Bill started. Wendy gave Bill a hug, and said "Bye brother."
"Goodbye," said Bill in return.
Bill stood up and walked out the door.

I don't know. Haunter evolves into Gengar when you trade it, so maybe you could trade him with another player (if that is allowed)?

Sorry about taking so long with my SU, guys. I've been working on a big project that I should've been working on a long time ago. It's due Monday, but I should be done later today. I'll work on my SU as soon as possible! I swear!

I'm surprised no one asked me for advice after submitting a SUPER LONG AND EXTREMELY DETAILED SU. xD But really, I'm here if anyone is still struggling in coming up with details on their characters. I have a wide imagination, so I do go crazy when creating characters. xD

IC will be submitted once <Challenger> gets his SU in, and for trade evolutions no trades will happen but for those who have trade evolution pokemon I'll make up a special event for you that evolves your Pokemon.
