Is valid reasoning

I just didn't think it was good reasoning in that context since everything else this phase suggests that Wiicked hasn't been the most attentive player (he didn't know jd is the healer, didn't know Ulli is the vig, didn't know Fletch has Destiny Bond, etc.) and bandwagoning based on little information is something he does often anyway, so while it wasn't a good play, it's not like he did anything scummy or out of character for him.

Anyway, I don't think this conversation is helpful. I'll bite on the Gunner lead for now since she kind of has been hurting more than helping, whatever her alignment is

I have to admit I really wasn't totally aware of what was going on because I was pretty busy early on and got behind, so I was playing a bit of catch-up and working with what I knew and working on getting more information. Thanks for recognizing those things though.
 
Anyone attacking Ice Goddess has obviously no idea how he plays and is only voting for him because you think that someone using aggressive words instantly classifies as scum. You aren't even reading him, you're just defensive of how he is insulting your playstyle.

Did anyone see me crying when Andy attacked me? No. Because I understand why he did it and if someone attacks me with a good reason I'm not going to cry about it and call them anti-town. If someone calls you a fence post or and idiot then instead of getting defensive and making a big scene swallow your pride and look at how you're playing and try to see what you can do better.

I'd like to point out that if you feel someone has insulted you in a personal way, and not just ~playing the game~ you should definitely not perpetuate the disagreement and instead should alert a mod and cease replying.

In the time that I went to go and get water for my dog Mana pretty much came and echo'd me. I just want to say that it's just as Mana said.

That and in general criticizing the player isn't how you should play mafia. If you have problem with how someone is playing you pick at their evidence rather than insulting the player themself. I don't care how much anyone thinks about the person for their thoughts. You focus on their theories.

If you don't care how a person plays then how can you even call out their play as scummy, the reason it looks scummy to you is because you haven't looked at previous games that Andy was inno and analyzed his actions. Andy is a late-gamer. He lies low during the first couple phases, then by the time he finally posts what he knows it's too late to stop him. And his way of playing works, even if the methods are unorthodox. Andy is one of the best players in the forum, should he tone down the name calling? Probably. Does he know what he's doing and know what the other players are doing? Yes. Yes he does.

I'm not condoning the insulting or whatever that's been happening in the thread, but as a general kind of thing, reading the player is a big part of mafia too, actually. You need to look for inconsistencies in their logic and how they play to determine when they're lying or not.

Ok, sorry, last comment I make on this whole thing, we're getting really off track here. :P

I'll just edit this in since I said I wouldn't make any more actual replies but
Picking at the person is important, it's what doof was getting at - name calling and saying the things he's been saying is not uncommon for Weiss, that's why he doesn't find his play suss, but if, say, I were suddenly very hostile in my replies, that would be suspicious.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm getting at. Instead of just calling someone names/insulting them in any way look for inconsistancies in their logic instead. It what I mean at picking at their evidence. You do that and counter it instead of picking at the person.

also since you added it should never get to the point of just outright insulting the person. especially without nothing else in your post. sorry, but that's just a no go. be hostile, that's fine. but when you're making people not want to play or are actually really upset then you went over the line. which is honestly been happening a bit too often lately.

As for Mana's question I've no clue. I suppose whoever he finds suss after today.

Mmhm, I'm somehow surprised by this post of yours ...I wonder why...

Weiß is insulting my playstyle? I didn't notice. What I noticed is that his general behaviour doesn't fit my general assumption that town-sided players should try to be helpful while mafia-sided players try to confuse everyone. Up to the point of saying "I already have dispensed all information regarding myself" where he didn't state anything about his role at all.

Fine, I'll take a note on this.
but he could still have avoided my constant picking without calling names. I mean, it's fine what he did, but it's not "staying low". It's ...trying to intimidate. (...and trying to discredit, which well, obviously makes more sense as a mafia...)
I do care how others play, but I'm not going to analyse several games with hundreds of posts regarding the playstyle of 34 players of this game.
I also do consider Day 5 no longer part of "first couple phases". So if Andy/Weiss is a late-gamer (...a pretty common tactic imo) when he's inno, how does this differ when he's mafia?

tbh can't remember the last time Weiss was mafia in a game I was in except for FDL but he was on my team so I analyzed him less :P

And day 5 is usually too early for the late-gamers of this forum (from what I've seen)

EDIT: Instead of trying to insinuate something about why you're surprised by my post, you should tell me why it surprises you.
But, I posted it because your ideas for lynching Andy were uh... not that great imo. That's the royal you, not you specifically, be careful about that bc I've noticed you've thought I've been talking about you directly this entire time, when I'm not and instead talking to anyone that's reading the post x:
