Actually, I really need your help M_T.. I need the scripts from FoR.. the decompile once and be SURE to change the offsets into a non HEX pointers so i can reinsert them easily, and put them in separately in each folders.. e.g. GREENHILLS>GREENHILLS(3.0) ..open GREENHILLS folder then GREENHILLS(3.0) folder then put all the scripts(which you took from GREENHILLS(3.0)) there.. got what i mean? ;)

Think I got it ^^
Simply decompiling, changing the offsets to dynamic ones and save the scripts in seperate folders.

R there any scripts which also need to be corrected? Or were the errors mainly compiling errors?

And there's a reason why I wrote "in easter holidays", I've got a maths test this thursday and greek test next wednesday xD

But I'll do whatever I can ;)
 
you learn greek? thats pretty cool
on the school i went to before i only had the choice between french and latin (of course i had to learn english, but its pretty useful compared to the other two and i still learn it on my new school)
once they wanted to start a group in which we could learn chinese, but not enough people were interested so now i cant speak chinese :p
 
well, greek is actually not really easy. that's my problem xD

oh btw, I can speak a little (VERY little xD) japanese. I can count up to 99 I think ^^

But to come back to topic (^^), I thought that the restart of FoR, or better the announcement of the restart, could need some new stuff.
If you think about it, the starting post of FoR looks quite poor compared to LoF and some others.
I decided to make the first step to make it better :P

(a unique banner, isn't it? ;))

The sprites on the banner can't be found just anywhere...they are great work, so credit is needed. IF we use the banner in the first post, we should give credits. And if you don't want to do it in the thread, I've got another solution...^^

If you look closely, you'll realise that the font is filled with the pictures of houndour, growlithe and vulpix :D
(I especially like the "R" of "Rage", cause it's the eye of vulpix ^^)

if you want to you can make one for LoF as well :p
but the banner of LoF already is really unique... hmm dunno

any news on the FoRR? do you want to remake all the maps on your own X?

Yup, I'm not busy and I'm really bored all the sudden so i made up my mind and start Restarting FoR..

btw, if you want to do something.. can you make another world map, this time, its a small one.. like a ghost island.. I'll be needing it in FoR..

btw2, you can always see the progress of FoR in the FoR thread..

ok, ill see when i got some spare time to make that world map
im actually more busy than you i think :p and im often not bored

ill follow the process of course, but now my gf is coming to my place so i got something better to do xD
 
aaaaah, the team thread xD i have totaly forgotten it.
anyway, X, is there some work you need at this point for our baby FoR? ^_^
i mean, you can reuse the sprites of the old beta, but is there something to do? but just understand that i'm really busy at the moment, so don't ask to much xD

the image is a png, but im sure you can convert it into any format you need^^
if you want to i can change it or make another one (but not today, no time)

edit: think im gonna work on lof a bit today
im bored of all the other work i normally do (webdesign) and i want to do somethign different...
ill probably play it, collect some more bugs, fix and edit maps...
but i still got no idea for a new event

ill probably remake a lot of the maps using a more natural mapping style. the tree placement i used in that days is horrible

great idea, separate them via folders like what i said to M_T...

what if, we could restart FoR together? in a new ROM, no import/export thingies.. but that would be hard..
 
actually i was talking about lof^^
i could show you the totally new benyuan and route 1 and the edited shengu and route 2, but im too lazy to upload the images^^
you mean we should remap all of the maps? that would be a lot of work.
and we have to watch for the events so the movements still work correctly and nobody runs into trees
