Round Table Updates Thread​

This thread will serve as a hub for all important Round Table-related announcements and such since half the people on this site wouldn't even know if anything new is going on in the RT otherwise.

We have a few new interesting threads that you may want to check out!:

-An event called Devil's Advocate, where the purpose is simply to construct an argument against the OP, regardless of how you personally feel about the issue. The objective is more for you and others to hone your skills in crafting an argument, y'know?

-There's also this one, a thread titled "sharing beliefs", where you simply post your religious and/or spiritual views, in order to learn about the various beilefs the people of the PokeCommunity hold, and to share your own.

-Somewhat similar to the above, there's another thread where you can share your unpopular opinions without fear of ridicule (not that we tolerate ridicule in the Round Table).

More to come Soon^TM, like more events and an update to the Round Table rules thread to include some general debating tips and an expansion on good/bad sources to use!

Two new updates!:

-A new event has started, simply titled with just one word, "Why?". The event is simply:

The way this event works is simple, I'm going to ask a "why" question. The next person then has to answer that question as factually as they can and subsequently ask a "why" question of their own. Essentially we keep going in an endless cycle of questions and answers until we run out of questions or get bored. A good way to learn things right?

-The Round Table Rules thread has been updated to include some debating advice, courtesy of some of our regulars, and the resources section has been expanded! If you wish to contribute some good sources and/or debate advice, please contact Nah or gimmepie.
