    ENTRY 2

    Villain Name: Gramps
Speak up, sonny! I can't turn this blasted jigger up any higher.

    Real Name: Thomas Widdenhager Sr.
    Who's that?

    Gender: Male
What are you, blind? Of course I'm a man. At least, I think I was... now, where did Pickles run off to?

    Age: 84
And they still won't give me my social security check!

Area: Anywhere, really. He shows up in the weirdest of places.
Where am I? And where the blazes did that cat run off to?

    Appearance:
Gramps went bald quite some time ago, and his oversized thick-framed glasses can't hide the ripples sagging across his face. He's just over six feet tall, but he's so hunched over that most people overlook him. He carries a battered, gray plastic cane, and his pants have climbed far past his belly button. His white t-shirt isn't quite long enough to cover his wrinkly lower back. He has suspenders, but they often fall off his shoulders and hang on the sides of his pants. His shoes are old, dirty sneakers that are always untied, but Gramps never trips on his laces.

    Powers:
Zip. Zilch. Nada. He's not an ordinary old man, but there's nothing supernatural at work with him. His innocence and weakness makes it difficult for heroes to fight him.

He causes mayhem through his paranoia, senility, and forgetfulness. His suspenders often pull fire alarms and levers, snag peoples' arms, and catch in doors. Gramps often waves his cane around, pushing buttons that weren't meant to be pushed and breaking fragile, important machines. If something's too noisy, he hits it until it stops, often with destructive results. If someone grabs his arm or tries to guide him anywhere, they're guaranteed a blow to the temple. He's unusually skilled at slipping out of both hands and eyesights, typically through sheer accident.

His hearing aid is of dubious use. Sometimes it works too well, and he'll smack people until they speak quieter. Other times, he'll be deaf to the world. It never seems to occur to Gramps to change the volume settings on his hearing aid.

    Origin Story:
Gramps was an ordinary father until he turned seventy, when his mind began to degenerate from Alzheimers. His wife passed away shortly after, and his son put him in a retirement home. All he remembers is a cat, named Pickles, which died twenty years ago. His determination to find Pickles led him out of his retirement home and into banks, research facilities, drugstores, military installations, and Denny's restaurants across the country, creating mayhem wherever he went. He'll sometimes recognize various objects as Pickles, be they flower pots, time bombs, scarves, children, even cars. Once these objects leave his line of sight, he forgets about them and resumes his search for Pickles.

    Personality:
He's crotchety, senile, and of a single-track mind: finding Pickles. Anything else that once gave this man a personality has been eaten away by Alzheimer's. He's paranoid, perpetually demanding for social-security checks, and abhors loud noises.

    ENTRY 3

    Villain name: Power man

    Real name: Clark Rogers

    Gender: Male

    Age: 35

    Area: New York

Appearance: Clark doesn't stand out as a civilian. He is a tall man, around 1,85m or 6 feet, but not overly tall. He is, however, really muscular, and has the physique of a great boxer. His is broad shouldered, and his body is rock hard, but it doesn't show that much when he wears normal clothes. His usual clothes consist of trousers with a jacket, and glasses. He slicks his blond hair backwards, except for one strand, that he lets hang over his forehead. He walks slightly slouched, and generally has bad posture when he tries to blend in as a civilian.

His costume does not cover his face. Instead he takes off his glasses and styles his hair in a quiff. His costume is a skintight white suit, very similar to most superhero suits. On his chest is a logo, a circle with a P in it. He wears a black belt, with a golden buckle, and the area where is underwear would be, there is a dark grey area. He sometimes wears a black cape with golden edges, but he drops it whenever he gets into a close combat situation, as a cape is a disadvantage when he fights.

    Powers:

Combat training: Power man is a very capable fighter, having trained in different martial arts, and being in a very fit physical condition. He's physique is mostly build for hitting hard, and blocking punches. He's not very quick, but because of his knowledge he is able to predict some attacks, and respond with the according counter attack.

Telekinesis: Power man has very weak telekinesis. He has trouble even moving a glass, and what he can control is very minimal. At the peak of his power, he can control grains of solids, and drips of liquids. He however, is extremely skilled controlling these almost neglectable quantities. He trained this abilities to the point where he has reached the so said skill ceiling of his potential. He can move things around with incredible speed, and ease. His grip on these objects is absolute. No other telekinetic can move things he has a grip on.

Great tactician: Power man is very tactical. He has incredible understanding of existing powers and how they work, and is very smart with how to approach these powers, and neutralize him.

Personality: Power Man is completely delusional. He is very self-conscious about his powers being weak. If anyone calls him weak, or anything in that general direction. He has a very short fuse, and is quick to kill. Still, he sees himself as moral, and a good person. He has convinced himself that he is acting righteous, and that it was the fault of the heroes to not accept him as one of them.

He is very inwards when interacting with people, but he's always sounds like he is very convinced on what he says. As a civilian he acts very arrogant, but usually doesn't even try to interact with other people. When he speaks, he almost always has planned what he is going to say already, and manages to pull the conversation back to talk about him. He himself, and his potential for greatness, and how unrecognized that potential goes, are his favorite subjects to talk about, and he tends to come back to them a lot.

When acting as Power Man, he is very euphoric, and grand. He likes to act theatrical, and grand. In every situation he tries to come off as very manly and powerful. Image is something he cares about a lot, as he wants to be portrayed well in the media. This does however not mean he shies away from killing in public. He does however, want to come over as powerful and determined when he does this. These delusions of grandeur and heroism make Power Man impossible to reason with.

Origin history: Clark used to be a simple office worker, doing the administration. He did not enjoy his job, as he felt he was working with idiots, who were beneath him. He used to look outside, and on a rare day he saw a superhero fly by, in the skintight suit, with the cape flying behind them. They were heroic, powerful and respected, and everything Clark wanted to be. At this time, he was skinny, and spend most of his time reading about the heroes of New York. He constantly skewered the web, searching for ways to become a hero himself, giving him abilities that would put him up there with his heroes.

He learned that some people were born with abilities, and that these humans had internal abilities they discovered in life. He decided he would do anything to figure out if he had one of these powers. He let his DNA be analyzed, and experimented to see if he had abilities. After a year of not finding anyone internal abilities, or ways to receive them, he was experimenting to see if he was a telekinetic. He had tried hundreds of times already, but there was still a little flame of hope burning in him that he too could be a superhero. He put yet another water-filled glass on his table, and concentrated incredibly hard on moving it. Nothing ever happened, but he always felt as if it should, as if he had mentally grabbed onto something. He bumped into the table, and the glass fell over. He reached out to catch it, but it landed on the ground, shattering. What he did manage to catch, however, was a drop of water, and not with his hand, no, he caught it with his mind. It was floating in mid-air.

What happened quickly after that was him being rejected for multiple public superhero teams. He started sending them letters, getting either no answer, or a generic reply. He started researching where the teams met, and showing up at their HQ, demanding to get on the teams, showcasing his powers. He never got accepted, and he started guessing at reasons as to why the heroes wouldn't accept him. They thought he was weak. He started practicing his powers, honing his skill, improving his body, even sharpening his mind. He quit his job, and spend all his time improving himself, unlocking his 'potential'. He showed up at the headquarters again, but they wouldn't even let him enter. Did they still think he was weak? Did he still not live up to their standard? No, they saw how strong he could be, they saw he would be the greatest hero, and they were scared he would take their place. They were scared for his power. They were scared for his potential, for his destiny.

Clark took on the mantle of Power Man, he would show that he was the strongest hero this world had ever seen. And he would do this by taking out every superhero. Once he has taken them out, he would serve justice to the city, and he would be the cities superhero. He would be New York's greatest, New York's most powerful. He was the hero this city needed, he was the hero this city deserved, and he would proof that.

    Male

    Area:
Alps (Base) But he mainly terrorizes Central Europe and Britain. (And Hyperia.)

    Appearance:
Playmaster wears a crown, emblazoned with a heraldric crest. Although, his royal clothes are grey, his cape is cold dark blue, usually the only consistant things he wears are his royal cape and crown. As a display of boredom he will experiment with what he wears.

Often, he carries around his golden sceptre. His royal heraldry is a crown surrounded by several rings an on the outer rings it has a dragon in the shape of a semicircle and the other side of the circle is laurel wreaths, entwined with barbed wire.

His sceptre gold and brown, the pearls on the top is a dull pink, swirling inside the ball, on the top of opan there is a small hole the size of a needle. From this hole emerges Eterna, a large pink gas cloud that is silent directing him with abstract shapes and the intensity of light when emergency.

Playmaster has unnatural purple eyes and a small nose, his chin is soft and his hair a thick long brownish-red tint at the point of hazel. The playmaster has a frail build and he has several scars on his abdomen. His skin is pale.

Powers: The Playmaster's abilities is the power to summon mythical creatures and elemental monsters and control them from his Palace. He can create dolls, toys, puppets and string instantly, additionally he can create clothes instaneously. He has minor telekinesis abilities. He has a companion called Eterna, who lends him certain abilites. Eterna has trapped inside his castle and forced him to have immortality. but this is really a curse to him.

Eterna is a sentient familiar that takes care of him to make sure that he doesn't die, and to inflict nightmares upon him. Eterna can look like anything, to continue The Playmaster's loneliness, he usually takes on an inanimate object. This being said, since he is locked in his palace, the actual only ones that anyone else can see is the control of familiars (monsters). Unbeknownst to him, his toys actually play out in the real world connecting with his mythical creatures.

Personality: He is usually energetic but only at times he plays with his toys, otherwise he is lonely and time worn. He is cheeky and innocent. He often does the most daring things around his palace, running around in a weird clothes or rather more often than not, the lack there of. He has this tendency to grow arrogant, rebellious and assertain a regal persona but this authoritive persona will fade away when he returns to a yearning state. His personality has no firm feminity or masculinity. He often is very curious but very rarely.

All in all he is a child yearning for contact, isolated to his only source of entertainment, his toys, which with he causes untold pain and destruction with. He controls his imaginery games with his puppets playing out fantasies and dreams when the only actual dreams are this one nightmare, but rather it's a memory, the nightmare is the time that his parents left him. Raising his joy with the silhouette of his parents then wiping them away leaving him in a cold stale room.

Eterna is a mysterious familiar, formed with toxic purple gas that looks like it was plucked out of a nebula. Eterna originally had a strange fascination with mentoring and teaching. It has a strange feel of paternity. Eterna acts strangely like a human with a human psychology. He's gone mad like a human, but other than his mind and actions he isn't human, he doesn't eat nor drink.

Eterna resents The Playmaster because of being stuck with him for so long, aswell as his refusal to listen to his teachings. but keeps him alive because otherwise he would be alone with no purpose, his worst fear is having no purpose. His motives are purpose and revenge.

Origin history: Originally, his parents were King Gerald II and Queen Janet, the rulers of Northland, an ancient medieval kingdom that one outsider might have called a utopia, filled with exotic fruit and sunny weather. But underneath this facade of heaven laid, as always, a dark secret. The King and Queen were indebted to a legendary creature. Named only as Eterna. The founder of Northland made a deal with Eterna.

In exchange of defending their land from the elements, and fertilizing their land, providing them with this ideal kingdom, they must keep Eterna secret from everyone exluding the king and the heir and when their first child, the next heir, reaches seven years old, the child will be taken and brought up by Eterna.

This mystery entity promised to grant the heir magical powers when the heir is released at 18. The powerful familiar seemed to yearn to be mentor and a guardian. For the founder, this was a win-win deal, his son (and all heirs for eternity will be safe and protected as well as a studious life, and he would forever have a rich harvest.

But several hundred years on, when Gerald married Janet who hailed of a rival nation, called Zudera. Janet's father, Andre, became very defensive. He saw this as an attempt to inherit his country's territory. Gerald and Janet decided that if he didn't think that he would usurped, he wouldn't attack, so to pull this off she would have to keep any children she had hidden from him. The alternative would be breaking the deal with Eterna and leaving Northland without an heir, leaving it in civil war and turmoil

Still sceptical of their assurance that they wouldn't have a child, Andre placed Zuderian spies in Northlands. When the time came for Bartholomew to be surrendered to Eterna. Zuderian spies found out about Bartholomew. Feeling betrayed. Andre raised his forces and assaulted Northland.

Gerald looked to Eterna for help. Eterna said it was impossible to ensure the safety of their country from the attack and their son. Gerald had became very attached to Bartholomew and refused to make him suffer because of politics. In a final descision he told Eterna to protect Bartholomew forever, and let Northland fall. In the charge of the massive army of Zudera. Northland perished. The entire lands was subjected to a scorched earth tactic.

Now, in this aftermath of the noble sacrifice, Bartholomew was subjected to isolation in never-ending life. The world changed around the Castle, the Mountain grew around it, the snow covered the outside of the castle. Centuries stretched in to milennia. With time both beings maddened, Eterna took to tormenting the heir with nightmares and loneliness, in repayment of his refusal to learn from Eterna.

Bartholomew grew lonely, turning to his playthings to play with, little did he know his gift was the gift of influencing monstrous creatures by the strings of his puppets. He commanded his puppets with a regal authority, but with the absent mindedness of a child. A child who kills hundreds with his toys.

    Male

    Age

    37

    Area

Around the world (as instructed by the leaders of the organization)

    Powers

    Endurance
Through training, the Estoc has a higher resistance to one or more forms of damage before being injured as well as the ability to exert himself in an activity indefinitely without becoming tired.
    Superhuman Strength and Senses
As one of the effects of the serum, he can smell, taste, and hear more than a normal human plus he has the ability to have a level of strength much higher than normally possible given their proportions.
    Enhanced Swordsmanship
A proficient swordsman like the Estoc is able to wield a sword with great proficiency in speed, power, and skill, allowing him to perform feats such as stopping and deflecting bullets, decimate large objects or areas, cutting through hard materials such as steel, and even hold back their strength to deal damage to their foes without killing them.

    Personality

To sum things up, The Estoc is an enigmatic misanthrope. He is calm, cool and aloof, he doesn't have a prefered style of killing as long as the job is done and his superiors are pleased. He waits patiently for his targets to be at the exact place he wants them to be, like a predator stalking its prey. He is very resourceful and adaptable when things go during his missions (very slim chance).

    History

As a child, Hardy was born into one of the most vile and corrupt slums. Growing up, he suffered abuse from his family, and watched as corrupt cops ignored the constant number of people who were killed on a daily basis in the slums which he lived in. It was an environment where everyone could easily betray you to the point that you could only trust yourself. Through these hardships, Hardy immediately developed into a criminal to supply his daily needs like food, he later grew up to be a sociopathic killer. Immediately, his talents were shown as he left a tremendous trail of corpses in his wake. He became notorious for breaking through even the most strict security teams to assassinate his targets.

He was later recruited by a high class and nefarious organization where the members are some of the worlds most wealthiest and influential persons on the planet. He was trained to use various weapons and educated to have knowledge of the world around him for the organization's purpose - world domination. He was dubbed as the "Estoc" for his avid use of the longsword.

One day, the organization had perfected a serum that, when drank, makes the user the most cunning, sneaky, strategic, and ruthless person on the planet. He volunteered to drink the serum and was the first to learn about its side effects. For a week he's been experiencing uncontrollable spasms and hallucinations to the point that the erudite researchers of the organization had to place him in a cryogenic chamber. Months have passed and the Estoc has released from his sleeping state, the serum had been stabilized inside his body and it has taken effect.

Today, the Estoc works as one of the organization's top assassins.

    ENTRY 7

    Sabien Oanez Kappel ♀ 22
    "Ourania"

    < Theme: Breaking Free >

    Nashville, Tennessee, USA

    Appearance

Tall, Caucasian, blonde haired and blue-eyed: she's practically perfect in every way, one might say. Her Dutch and Breton blood give her delicate features that she claims are the grace of God. She works hard to keep up her "natural beauty." She constantly brushes her long, flowing hair and meticulously attends to her skin and general hygiene. She doesn't wear makeup, because "there's no need to touch up perfection." Her facial features are soft and endearing, giving her a look of innocence. She's an angel, if you will.

She's 5'7" (170cm) of a delicate structure. Her muscles aren't particularly apparent and she's not too athletic. Her cheeks are dotted with freckles and her eyebrows are thin. Her lips are thin and naturally red, and her eyes are a bright tint that pierce through any gaze. She has no piercings or body art, as she considers them a blemish upon her natural grace.

Her wardrobe consists of long skirts and loose tops, with leggings and turtlenecked, sleeveless undershirts beneath. She wears a multitude of beaded necklaces, laced bracelets and a ring laden with a radiant tourmaline gemstone. She typically carries a large purse with her, usually white or black in color. Her main pair of earrings are in the shape of two intricately detailed silver crosses.

When out and about as Ourania, she adorns a glimmering silver cuirass trimmed with gold and topped by sapphire pauldrons. Her silver grieves are mostly covered by a long white skirt, and her face is hidden beneath a visored silver and gold Valkyrie helmet. She wields a steel sword inlaid with five golden crosses and an ornate pommel decorated with a diamond where the blade meets the hilt, inspired by the mythical sword of Jeanne d'Arc.

    Powers

    Aethikinesis

Sabien controls the forces of Aether, the supposed powers of Heaven itself. Her powers are incredibly diverse, but this variety means she has only a basic understanding of each ability.

The first subset of her ability is Astral Manipulation. Through this she can see the souls of the living and the dead, as well as their auras, and she can send her own spirit out of her body so that it can explore the world around her. When her spirit is outside of her body, her mortal frame becomes vulnerable to attack and her spirit becomes vulnerable to mystical influences. If something happens to either, she may be trapped in her astral form and unable to ever return to her body. She can also concentrate her aura into blasts, and by peering into the aura of another she can discern a multitude of things, such as their personality to any abilities that they may posses.

Secondly, she can manipulate energy in all of its forms, from kinetic forces to gravity. She can absorb energy-based attacks that are sent at her, and by manipulating kinetic energy she can send objects of any shape and size flying, with differing amounts of strain dependent upon the mass of the object. She can concentrate radiant energy such as light into beams or simple constructs such as bridges or blades. She can alter the energies of gravity, increasing or decreasing it to certain extents. She generally decreases it to give her opponents a sense of weightlessness, causing them to move slowly and with little control of their physical movements, or she increases gravity around her to amplify her physical strength or create small force fields.

Her third subset is Celestial Manipulation, giving her power over the stars and skies. She can sense anything when it's in the air, allowing her to track the movements of anything airborne. She can fly by manipulating gravity and the air, and by combining her control over the skies and the elements she can produce weather effects, albeit not all that powerful. She can also alter the intensity of the sun and moon, and even force "eclipses," though she doesn't actually change the positions of the celestial objects: she merely influences their energies, producing illusions and certain side effects, such as the flow of the tides when she's near them.

Fourthly, she can manipulate the forces of Aether within the natural elements of earth, air, fire, water, electricity and light. She can produce fireballs, thunderbolts, tremors, winds, gushes of water and flashes of intense light. She can combine these elements at will, but these simple tricks are about as far as her powers currently extend.

Finally, she can control the energies of creation in order to employ various forms of magic, primarily animancy, divination and illusion. She can heal others with a touch, trace an object to its origins when holding it, or influence the mind to see things that aren't really there. Sometimes she gets random glimpses of the future within her dreams, but they're typically fragments that don't give a clear picture, leading to many egregious misinterpretations.

All of her abilities depend upon the manipulation of the creative forces of the universe, and as such greater amounts of energy require her to expend more of her own, placing greater strains on her body and soul for greater feats. As she believes herself to be blessed by God, she places a little too much trust in faith rather than observing her own limitations.

    Personality

Righteous beyond belief and "blessed by the Lord himself." She believes that she's been gifted her abilities by God, presuming herself to be on a pedestal above any other mortal. She's stubborn, incredibly moralistic and is confident that she can never be wrong in her actions, as they are all ordained by God. She will challenge and smite anyone that she believes to be out of the Lord's favor. Despite this, she doesn't consult the Bible on most things, believing it to be an imperfect scripture written by imperfect mortals. Instead, she places faith in her own morals and the visions that she gets. After all, she must know what's right as God's savior, right?

She's persistent and literal, taking everything at face value and passing judgment based on the surface of a situation. She takes no time to meditate on an action and its consequences, caring only for how something can serve the Lord and his wishes. Her devotion to her faith consumes her and almost everything she does. She barely has a social life and cares little for material things. She will "assist" others in the way she sees most fit, doing her best to bring them closer to God's favor, but despite her holy standing she won't place herself in danger to save another. Where would the world be without its savior?

She's not altogether emotionless, though she seems like it most of the time. She doesn't have much of a sense of humor, but she fancies herself a romantic and she adores animals and all of God's creations. She enjoys sweets, long walks on the beach, and despite her intense faith, she's bisexual. She has a more progressive take on God, apparently.

    Origin History

Born into an upper middle class family in one of the most famous areas of Tennessee, Sabien was never left wanting. She's an only child, so anything and everything always went directly to her. She was always used to getting what she wanted.

She was only six when her faith was ignited. She had been with her father at the park when they got separated and she wandered into the woods nearby. Scared and alone she came across a patch of death and decay. Plants had wilted, trees had rotted, and animals lay dying. It was a supernatural event, but to a six year old the only thing that mattered was how unsettling it was. She was on the verge of tears and ready to panic when she saw a soft glow emanating from a lone flower. She approached it, and upon touching it the surrounding forest burst into life. Strangely enough, six patches of flowers grew around her, all being chrysanthemum, white and black roses, gladiolas and calla lilies, with a seventh patch of dark crimson roses in the center. They were symbolic of something, but of what Sabien never knew.

It was at that moment that she felt her life change. Some sort of energy just . . . flowed into her. By the time her father had found her, she was surrounded by vivid plants and energetic animals, excitedly frolicking in the fields around her. A new life had been given to her. She could see the beauty in it all, and once she started receiving the visions in her dreams, she knew she had been chosen by God. For what, she wasn't sure. As she grew and observed the world around her, she became more judgmental and righteous in her actions, and eventually came to the conclusion that her powers had been gifted to her so that she could carry out the Lord's will and cleanse the world of the scum that plagued it.

That's what led to her murdering two of her high school classmates. They were rapists, of course, and no one ever found out it was her.

Once she was old enough to move out of the house, she began to travel the country, looking for like minded individuals to help her in her cause. Along the way she vanquished numerous sinners, and she was perfectly pleased with the good work that she was doing. She kept on this way for three years, before eventually returning to Nashville and establishing a more solid base of operations. Now she works with her disciples to rid the world of filth, at whatever cost.

Going to go with suspender, cane waving man Gramps!
    ^^ He's hilarious

    It's up! Voting time!

I like the Immortal, but I can't help but feel he's just a less badass version of Ghost Rider. Still, he's a skeleton man in 50's fashion, which is hecka cool

While Grandpa is funny, I really don't think Titans will need another silly villain. The character is just too far away from a supervillain, and ends up being the sad story of a grandpa with alzheimer's.

I like Power Man, although the SU is written a bit awkwardly. The way his weakness makes him so powerful is kinda interesting, and I like that he's basically a twisted version of the underwear on the outside superhero.

I really like Playmaster. He's basically an evil demonlike child, with a royal theme and a toddler theme going on.

I'm not a huge fan of the Estoc. I think the general approach could certainly work, but I'm not a huge fan of this execution. The origin doesn't appeal to me that much, and it seems to skip over some stuff. I also feel like some parts contradict with each other, such as saying he doesn't have a prefered killing style, and then describing his prefered killing style. The powerset and appearance however, I dig a lot.

Snooper Man is funny, but I'm not huge fan of a weed based supervillain. Made me laugh doh

Ourania is very much an all-rounder, and even though I think the SU is well written and interesting, it did not sell the character too me. Her powers are incredibly strong, and it feels very weird that they are grouped under one category.

I have voted for Playmaster, as I feel he's the most interesting, and the funnest of all the submissions.

You... Really shouldn't think about Titans when voting, okay? That's just an extra thing :(

Villains are made to be defeated, it's only right to theorise how. The thing is that these characters always have their merit. But some of them differ on scale. You can apply it to any universe and see how it would work, people would always think of how these characters would interact even if Titans wasn't even there. Supervillains cannot float around in their own dimensions all alone because their purpose is to rival and destroy the superheroes. I mean that they cannot exist without a universe to destroy.

Men, this is obsessing. Though, there's Snooper Man that is smoking weeds AF.

Well, think The Playman is the hero here!

Oh yeah also why is there no saviors like helping the poor or somethin' ;-; now thats crap!

    Villains don't help people. >_>

That being said, I liked Ourania but she is not a villain.

It was a tough decision to make...(because everyone was equally horrible) but I'll have to go with The Playmaster (because it gave me the least eye-scarring).
