Safest place on Earth?

In the event of some sort of apocalypse or armageddon, where would you say is the one place that is safest? The criteria is up to you decide: most secluded, most resourceful, most elevated, etc. The armageddon in this instance is also up to you, just realize that the world will never be the same again and you need to avoid the dramatic changes occurring or you might perish and this location will be your only saving grace.

I guess I'd be screwed if the apocalypse ever happened, cause I have nothing for this question :C If anything, my friends and I would band together at someone's house, close to a Walmart or something.

Probably my room. I guess there I can cry.

I'll go with zombie apocalypse.

I'd go hide inside my school. It's actually a safe zone for whenever a very strong snowstorm hits and people are deprived of electricity, the city will open our school to the local people to take refugee there, so that's already a plus.

The doors are reinforced steel, garage doors are very very sturdy.
Weapons? We got migs, fuel tanks, saws, drill guns and all those nice stuffs you can easily kill people with :)

Food? Please, our cafeteria is huge, it literally takes you 5 minutes to walk from one end to another, so imagine all the food they have in stock, eh? :)

And for those who will eventually get bored, we can go on the rooftop and shoot some zombies roaming around the school :P

It's unlikely you'd be the only one with this state of mind so consider the possibility of other people in the school with you that have turned or are in the process of turning? What would you do then? Open fire on everyone? Eventually you would also run out of food and I assure you no man with a Twinkie will ride up on his motorized steed and help relieve you of the apocalypse.

Unless there's a remedy for turning them back into humans, it's you or the zombies. So I'll have to kill them aswell!
We also got a maxi and a Canadian Tire right beside the school, so until they run out of food we can get them from there :)

Well, your resources in a place like that are bound to be limited. As well, 'beside the school,' meaning you'd have to risk your life outside where the zombies are running rampant to replenish your supply. >:u

In the end, there is nowhere to run, and nowhere to hide.
Even a few years ago, I saw how a mailman got harmfully killed in Sluiskil, which is a small village containing a few people, which nobody knows it exists at all (until it came in Newspapers).

But I live in the City Centre of Breda, and I would have no clue on what's the safest place in my neighbourhood.

I'm always mentally prepping for a zombie apocalypse. Though if it ever came down to it I'd stay on the move. Trying to fortify somewhere always results in the place getting overrun eventually. I'd go to the closest place with ammunition such as a police station. Try and get my hands on as many firearms and ammo as possible. Then try and seek out the people I love and try and keep them safe.

Lol it would be so exciting.

I'd be screwed. First, I would get an ak47 with a LOT of ammo. Next, I would go to various fast food restaurants and take as much food as I could. Then I would find a bomb shelter underground, like the ones they had in the '60's then I would hide it out. It would be extremely difficult to survive.

Doesn't matter, I'd be on the outside ushering civilians to safer locations. So I guess I'm screwed. If the world was thrown into total anarchy and I don't have to usher people anymore, then I'll go back to the barracks, grab my m16 and join a gang of outlaws.

Zombies are scientifically impossible, but say a pandemic virus occurred and wiped out billions at least it'd be more difficult to spread here once we got border security tightened because a) we're an island b) very few people live here and c) if you were properly prepared you could live in very remote areas where nothing would reach you.

I wouldn't want to live in America because of its denser population and all those people have guns and survivors would shoot on sight.

zombies can still get to you if your on an island. their undead so they don't have to worry about breathing. they will come in time

aliens are also possible, we haven't even explored half of this universe. heck, we haven't even gotten to mars. theres a big difference between exploring with a machine and actually exploring. also if an alien can get to us, but we can't get to them, we're done for

theres also a chance of a mind controlling space virus, there is a type of virus that takes over the minds of mice & makes them be eaten by a cat, aka Toxoplasma gondii & the fact that its been confirmed that theres microscopic organisms in space. the confirmed aliens.

nuclear will depend a lot on the range and how much is used. regardless i don't think our atmosphere can handle such a fallout.

i would love to live in fort knox and nobody can ever get inside so if u live there u are like the luckiest person ever!

If zombie apoc then my school is ever gate can only be opened once closed from the inside and you can't reach in and grab it plus jumping it is out of the question because its three stories high, we have the best woodwork,engineering and metalwork rooms in our area so making weapons is yes plus we have a jail like girls only school next to us where it is literally one way in and one way out so that's good for extra room. We have solar panels and very large water tanks so that's good we also have a shipping container filled with canoes and water gear plus we have a wharf that goes out onto water. My school recently began setting construction fences up for the demolishion of our library to make a bigger area so we have extra fences to put up.

I think I'm safe and if worst comes to worst atleast I own a sword.
