    Spoiler:

Hoo boy; that's gorgeous. I want one just to show off. :3

Wow that would be annoying for the home user, though for computer teachers in schools that would be a great way to work and keep your eyes on the kids. (at least physically, we can already keep an eye on their screens)

Great, now that's TWO screens to make sure that they aren't dirty. :( Good job Samsung.

Tch, you guys, always seeing the bad side of things. Can't you just accept that it's really, really cool? :'(

What so downer about being able to spot kids misbehaving through you computer screen? It's be a major help to elementary school keyboarding teachers everywhere! Sure we already have programs so see what the kids are doing on their computers, but if the kid is physically fooling around you have to sit up in your chair and look around your teacher screen. With this screen you don't have to exert anything to freak the kid out by telling him not to do what their doing from behind the screen.

It's a novel concept, that for sure. How it would be received is another. I for one probably wouldn't want one , though if I could integrate it with a touchscreen as well as into my shower window on the other hand, then we may have a winner!

Biggest technological fail of the last decade, I'll say.
News page gets extra points for redundantly saying "first and largest".

It's very sexy and futuristic...but not very practical. Talk about everybody being able to see what you're doing, which outside of a classroom environment is a little evasive. :/ And I'd love to know how strong it is, too. D:

That is an interesting feature. I like the fact the transparency can be turned off when needed. However I think it would have more of niche use then general use.

The transparency is annoying, I wouldn't be able to focus on what I was doing. I'd just want it turned off all the time, so there seems like really no point in having it.I don't even think it's sexy.

Hm... transluscent OLEDs seem to be everywhere in science fiction. I personally like it, especially if they are cheap enough that you can have two stacked together with multi-touch capabilities on both, letting your comp work as both a laptop and a tablet with ease.

With that said, it is also a bit gimmicky and doesn't seem like it would have excellent applications, especially if you wanted to do anything private. It could have some useful applications as HUD on vehicles, for example, or for windows. (Have Windows on your windows?)

Not a fan. I did just get a 23" widescreen Samsung monitor a week ago, though. It's pretty boss.
