Sapphire:


The young girl listened carefully to Refr's answers. He knew an awful lot about detecting what nature had in store for young travelers such as themselves, and he also had a taste for exploration. Sapphire smirked and hid it under the shadows of her hat and just followed Refr as he suddenly changed the subject talking in a foreign tongue. Sapphire was sure she had came across the words before, probably in one of her books that explained about the past and ancient happenings. He described Sapphire as 'To save, defend' or perhaps she was 'Little Prophetess'. When Sapphire heard that her eyes widened slightly, and her head shot up. Her eyes glistened and shone brightly cutting through the darkened shadows of her hat. Her finger and thumb soon grabbed hold of the edge of her hat, and she tugged on it to pull it down over her eyes. "Prophetess?" Sapphire softly whispered to herself in her thoughts so Refr could not hear her repeat the word. She continued to follow the slightly older boy, and thought against the forest to get out, but she was more concentrating on what he had said.


"Veee?" Xerxes muttered from the girl's bag. She looked at the small 'Untamed' Pokémon and forced a smile. Refr had got her thinking, but now she was in a more serious mood on whether to tell him or not.


The two and Xerxes, finally made it to the edge of the forest. Refr walked to the edge and over looked the city. He was reflecting on things, and it almost seemed he was mocking the human race for being unaware of the approaching fog. While he took care of himself Sapphire felt that the air around her had an almost acid twinge to it. She raised and eyebrow and took off her hat. Sapphire closed her eyes and ran a hand through her hair but when she opened her eyes she was no longer in the forest. She tried to speak as shock ran through the nerves of her body, but not a single sound came to her lips. She looked around her. It was a very old setting. She moved towards where Refr would have been standing. He had gone. The city below her was covered in blood... it did not even look like a city anymore. Just an old skeleton of what looked to have been a village... Sapphire's eyes narrowed. It wouldn't have been the first time she saw visions like this. Finally she spoke, well her lips moved and no sound came out, but Xerxes seemed to understand her perfectly.


"Are we standing in the Past or the Future?" She appeared to say before closing her eyes and putting her hat back on. One her eyes fluttered open again she was back at the edge of the forest, and was now standing next to Refr who was on his knees in what looked to be agony. Sapphire stared at him momentarily before crouching down besides him. "Are you alright?" Concern was deep in her voice and then she wandered if he had saw the same thing she had... Whatever it was, Sapphire did not want to stay in the town too long. It appeared to already been having some immense unwell affects on Refr. Her gentle hand stroked his back, as he trembled slightly. He was most likely unaware of himself trembling but it was plain as day to Sapphire. She looked out to the city once again. And then looked down hiding under her hat. "Refr... There's something I have to reveal to you." She started. "There's another reason... to why I was classed as a weirdo and didn't have many friends." She refused to look at Refr and debated whether to tell him or not...






KAORU:


Kaoru watched as Luke walked away. He couldn't care less if the kid stuck around, but he felt almost uneasy letting him wander off on his own. Kaoru closed his eyes and bowed his head. He did fine on himself, so why wouldn't this boy named Luke be alright? It was clear that he had a lot of strength. Kaoru then turned to Crystal who was studying a screen showing the Gelectic's at work. "I have a hunch they are trying to capture the Pokémon and forcefully take their energy to help the Galactics with developing power." Kaoru stated, knowing fully well what the Galactic's were doing. The Pokéballs were specially designed to zap all of the Pokémon's energy once they were caught. Then the Pokéball would be brought back to one of the three major Galactic bases. The Pokéball would be smashed in a machine and the energy would be absorbed by the machine. It was all part of science to alter the world like they had tried 30 years ago... Kaoru then suddenly noticed the lights go out. His eyes narrowed and he knew someone had beaten the Galactic's at this small city. It didn't bother him though, the grunts were nothing to do with him. A boy then ran out and said greetings to Crystal.


"Well isn't that nice, a reunion, but I think we need to get going!" Kaoru announced as the alarms suddenly started signaling. He grabbed Crystal's hand and picked up the strange boy he had yet to know the name of. He flung the boy over his shoulder and dragged Crystal with him. He used amazing strength and speed to dodge danger and ultimately get them out of the warehouse. As he darted around, the boy kept banging his nose off of Kaoru's back and shouted "Hey let me down! I can escape myself!" Kaoru took no notice and continued to get them out. Once they were out of the building, Kaoru bent over and tried to catch some breath. A tiny bead of sweat trickled gracfully down a locked of his hair.
 
Luke was slowly walking towards the new town, occasionally fighting some wild Pokemons that got in his way. As he was walking he saw a Vulpix on the side in the forest, it looked like he was just standing there and staring at Luke. "Well, if I catch a Vulpix this little waste of time will be a good thing, so let's prepare to fight" Luke said to himself and already pulled out a Pokeball with Pyro in it, but Vulpix dissapeared all of a sudden. "Wha-what?! Where'd he went?" Luke said and went in the forest from the side he saw Vulpix standing.

Soon Luke found himself lost and in a few moments sorrounded by a thick fog, so thick that he didn't even see a finger in front of him. He already wanted to release Pyro and Comet to lighten the way, but then he heard familiar voice from behind him. "Luke....it was long time since we saw each other for the last time, right? Am I glad to see you Luke, my boy..." Luke felt strange pain in his chest, like something was cutting him from inside: "Ugh...D-Dad, could that really be you? I-i-i missed you some muc-ugh...." Luke fell on his knees, feeling very weak at the moment. After Luke pulled himself somehow together, he asked his dad: "But...what are you do-doing in a place....place like this?" And then he looked around, but he didn't see a fog, he didn't even see the forest.

All of a sudden Luke didn't even remember how he got where he was right now, only thing he knew is that he is back at his home with the whole family there: His mom and dad and his big brother. They were all so happy: mom was making pancakes, dad was telling funny thing that happened to him at work and his big brother was smilling. "This can't be happening, why is the history repeating itself....I know this can't be happening, but why do I have to lose them again!!!" Luke thought and went up in his room, to look himself in the mirror. He saw a young boy again, but that just couldn't be. He ran downstairs and asked what day it is, but no one answered, everybody was just smilling like in some sort of a computer program.

That's when Luke dad said to Luke: "I am really glad to see you again, and I would love to spend more time with you, but you have to wake up now... son" And that's when Luke found himself back in the forest surounded by fog. "What is this.....this fog....something is not right about this fog....." He said and then heard another this time lighter voice: "Luk-...", but Luke didn't even want to turn around, he just yelled "Leave me alone!!!!!!!!!!" And started running in the direction he was facing.........
 
Refr heard Eve speak, but the words only echoed through his empty mind. He rose and turned to her, he hugged her and then they were encased in the thick fog, "Yeah Eve, I'm alright." she started to say something but her voice was muffled, and she was starting to cry, "Eve I am right here." as he held her he felt something, a sadness, a fear. Then Her Fear and Sadness pulsed through him as his emotions, I didnt say release your emotions, I said feel energy. He closed his eyes and then stood in a hallway. It was narrow and ran until the end could not be seen, Eves mind? Crap she must be really scared. many doors ran on ether side, he found one, Slowly he twisted the knob and opened the door, I just hope she does not mind. He walked through the door and saw Eves thoughts, the village below was flooded in blood, the thought streamed along on what seamed to be a banner, "Is this the Past or the Future?" He stared at it before walking out the door, closing it behind him. He walked to another door, the walked into that one, He saw her emotions at work. Man, She needs to label these doors. He went to another door, and opened that one, and walked into a large Library. This is what I was looking for, Her memory's. He walked to the back, and read the date, each book was labeled that way he worked his way to the oldest book, the thought. ANY visions move to the center of this room, and ten books flew to the center and landed on a table, OH, well then that might not be good. But as long as I don't take them to the Thought room then she wont be forced to recall them...

Then he opened his eyes, he was still holding Eve, who was now crying into his chest. "Lets just sit down and take a breather, Okay?" He said as he helped Eve to the ground, Xerxes crawled up into its masters lap, who sat in Refr's lap clinging to his shirt like it was the only thing keeping her alive. He held her close and said calmly, "Its going to be alright. Trust me," Okay, not the best way to put it. "What you have seen is for a good reason. I think the legendary pokemon are trying to show you something." he said calmly, trying to calm them down "Right now we have choices, Eve what you have seen is one of two outcomes." he stared off at the dim lights of the town, I must protect Her, I must keep her safe. "Its alright," he whispered softly into her ear, "Now Probjorg Litilvolva, what is it that you want to tell me?"
 
Ambellina walked into the pokemon center that was across town. News of Team Galactic had spread all over. Shops where staring to close early. She refused to have them scare her into closing early. She sighed as she passed a small child who was gasping at some footage on tv. "You'll protect us, right Amby-chan?" the child asked looking away from the screen. She smiled & ruffeled his hair.
 
Luke ran somewhere, but he didn't see where from all this thick fog. The air was starting to get colder and colder and the fog was thicker and thicker. Soon he stopped to catch some air and he started hearing voices from all around himself. "Luke...Come with us....you'll be safer...." Some guy said and more and more people started gathering around Luke. "Leave me alone!!!!!! What do you want!!!!" Luke yelled and then throwed his Pokeballs in the air: "Pyro, Comet!!!!!!! Ember!!!!!!!!" He ordered and soon all "people" around him starting disappearing in the fog.

"What in the world is happening here?!!" Luke yelled and waited as if to wanting for someone to answer. Then the fog started disappearing, but only in front of Luke, everywhere else fog was only getting bigger and bigger. Luke soon saw a cave in front of him and returned Pyro and Comet to their Pokeballs. He started running towards the cave and he didn't have any doubt of entering it.

Once inside, Luke noticed the fog is not going far into the cave from the entrance, like something is restraining it. He procceded a little deeper into the cave and at his surprise the cave was not getting darker, it was getting lighter. Then he noticed the cave was completely made of ice, well except from the ground. "Oh my god.... finally a safe place..... and it's just my luck that this safe place is an icy cave..." Luke said and procceded to find the exit from this place....
 
Sapphire felt something crawl through her mind. Her eyes narrowed as tears unwillingly fell from her eyes. Why was she crying? She was very used to seeing things like that. Granted they were never good images and they were always horrific in a way, but this one seemed to have been more gruesome. Why was she crying? Why? She felt someone enter her memories. They all flashed before her eyes and she sobbed harder. She heard the voices echo through her head.

"You're just a freak."
"Did you try to commit suicide? You weirdo!"
"No one will ever love a fool like you."
"you're nothing."

Sapphire closed her eyes. "Mum" She muttered very quietly.

"Why did I have a pathetic daughter like you! Go and jump off a cliff! See if I care!" The familiar voice of her mother chanted.
"Fine I will!" She shouted back and almost screamed into Refr's chest. Then something came to the centre of her memories. The visions she had witnessed. Her head was suddenly filling up with a negative energy. She couldn't remember them one bit, but she felt the hurt from them all coming into the centre of her being. Her energy was slowly withering away. She clung to Refr and struggled for breath. She felt as though she was going to die. "Mum... if you hadn't had stopped me... I really would have died." She softly said before hearing Refr ask her about what she was going to tell him. She wiped her eyes and looked up at him trying ever so hard to smile.

"I- I see things. I see a lot of things... that... that really do happen." She gasped slightly at the thought of the world being drenched in blood. "Refr..." Sapphire stared into his eyes and then grabbed hold of his collar. She dragged his head down so the tip of her nose slightly was brushing against his as her body trembled. She could feel his breath fall on her face, and she slowly whispered while closing her eyes. "Please don't leave me on my own... too many people have... I'm not a psycho... I'm not." A single tear fell.
 
I picked out a drink and a chocolate bar. "hey Miss Rudeson how are you this morning?" i asked. "fine Jamie, hows the gym going?" She asked me. "Slow not many people have been by. I meet some new trainers and The team galatic is making trouble." I said as she swiped my items and handed them to me. "Well good luck." she said to me as i walked out the door. "Hmmm.... Refr is probably alseep and is not on his way here. So I'll head back to the gym then Make my way to the Ice cave." I thought.
 
Luke walked through the cave and he was sure he would soon find the exit. "Well the old lady said this was a small ice cave, so I should have no problem in finding the way out..." Luke said and then heard a sound of splashing water somewhere. He walked in the direction of the sound and found a small crack in the ground, but big enough too see inside. Luke saw a small part of the underground level of the cave, and that part was covered in water. "Hm... I better be careful, I could fall in if I make a wrong step." Luke said and then heard the floor cracking. In a few seconds the floor below Luke cracked and Luke fell right in the water.

The water was as suspected very cold and Luke was soon "swimming" in it. "Crap, I better get to dry area soon...." Luke said and then felt the breeze on his face. "The exit must be somewhere near, I better hurry up" Luke said and started walking through the water as fast as he could. After a 5 minute walk Luke saw the light from the outside, but he also felt something licking his jeans. Soon something hit his leg hard that he felt to his knee. When Luke felt licking again he executed a soccer volley in the water and throwed that something out to the surface of water.

To his surprise that thing was a small Shellder, "but... what is a Shellder doing here?! PokeDex tell me about Shellder's natural habitats quick" Luke said as he got his PokeDex out of his jeans. He was lucky that the water level was to his belt so the PokeDex didn't get wet . "Shellder's natural habitat is ocean, but sometimes they can wander of into rivers and lakes where they are easily caught by other trainers." The mechanic voice stated. "If this Shellder wandered of from ocean that means that this part of the cave is leading to a river or something..." Luke said and then thought: "While the Shellder is here I could catch him!" He almost called out Pyro, but then got picture in his head of Pyro in the water. "No....that's not my best idea...." Luke said and then started to do something completely different.

Luke oppened his backpack and quickly took out one piece of Pokemon snack he bought in Infarmano. He started luring Shellder toward the exit and hopefully dry ground. Few times he was licked by Shellder, but as soon as he got out of the cave, and it wasn't a long trip in the water, he saw a ground right on his right side. Luke quickly took Shellder and throwed him out and then climbed himself there. Luke called out Pyro and with a clear field advantage prepared to fight.

After a few minutes of fight, the both Pokemon started getting annoyed because the fight was visibly not going anywhere. Pyro couldn't do a thing against Shellder's armor, so both Scratch and Bite were useless and his Ember also couldn't do a thing against a water type Pokemon. On the other hand Shellder was on the dry ground and couldn't execute any serious water attacks and his normal attacks were always evaded by Pyro.

Soon Luke saw something that started troubling him more than the fight or his wet condition. He noticed the fog is still here and he almost immediately got severe headache. Both Pokemons started freaking out, and soon Luke started seeing things. Luke saw people, many people, talking and chatting, but soon half of those people started attacking the other half, murdering them. Luke closed his eyes and started begging it in himself to stop. As soon as he gathered some courage he oppened his eyes and saw both Pyro and Shellder knocked out unconscious. "What..... Pyro! Are you ok?" Luke said and then suddently felt like crying, but he didn't. He looked at Shellder and saw that he was helpless and he knew he couldn't leave him here now, so he pulled out one of his empty Pokeballs and throwed it at Shellder. After three beeps, Shellder was caught, but Luke didn't think about celebrating at the moment.

Luke took Pyro's Pokeball and returned him too and started running while looking at his PokeTech compass. Soon the next town was in Luke's sight and as soon as he wanted to make a final run for it, he hit someone so hard that it knocked both Luke and that someone down. Luke didn't know if that was a human or another illusion so he decided to do the most basic thing, ask: "Who is that?! Identify yourself" Luke yelled...
 
Adam yawned and streched in his comfortable and fluffy matress. He sat up, resting his back against the wall, and listened to the morning cries of the wild bug pokemon. He didnt know why, but he found them so relaxing. Gazing among the walls, he looked at the shelf where he kept his pokemon. 4 pokeballs were there... his favoured three and a new venonat he was trying to teach. He groaned and remembered yesterdays events. After such a good day, that baby venonat accidently used poison powder on him... He could clearly remember the thick powder that clouded up his lungs, until he collapsed on the floor. He had spent the rest of the day in the pokemon center recovering. Sighing and getting up, he put on his luxurious dressing gown and walked up to the shelf. Putting his hand on the far left pokeball, he pressed the button, and he heard the familiar ringing noise a pokeball would make when letting out a pokemon. The red sillouhete of a kricketune appeared next to him before slowly fading back into the real thing.
"Good morning old pal," He whispered, and kricketune replied by making a sweet noise with its arms. He walked downstairs and into the kitchen. Every machine was made of silver, and a dishwasher could be heard purring softly. He remembered the days when he had a butler to get him breakfast, and laughed. He prefered to do things himself, even if it was housework. He opened his silver plated fridge and was covered by the dim light that showed the contents of his fridge. Pulling two slices of bread out and popping them in the toaster, he went upstairs to get changed. He slipped on his usual clothes, (he actually had 5 sets of them) and trotted downstairs again, seeing that the toaster had finished warming up and his breakfast was now ready. Pouring some orange juice into a long thin glass, he sat down at the smooth wooden table, and ate quickly. When he had finished, he put his plate and glass on the side, took his keys, and walked outside. He locked his door, and made his way out to the gym. The towering twineccentric gym loomed over him, with "bug gym" imprinted in gold letters on it. Sliding the key into the lock, he opened the gym doors and looked around. The battlefield was a grassy field, dotted with trees. In the middle was a small forest, which Adam usually used to end his battles decisively. Walking up to the gym mailbox, to see if he had any new challenges, he found an invitation to train with Kaoru, the dark type gymleader. Shrugging, he made his way to the Poketaxi service, and sat down in the leather seat, slipping as he did so.
 
Luke listened carefuly so he could hear who he bumped into, and soon a gentle voice answered: "I-I'm sorry, but I am in a hurry so please let me pass..." Luke didn't get how could he block someone when he was laying on the ground. As soon as the figure ran by him, it dissapeared into the thick fog. "Ah wait, where are yo-" Luke wanted to ask but left it alone since the person was nowhere to be seen. He got up and procceded to the town in a hurry.

He was quickly in the town and it seemed the fog was dissapeiring little by little. Luke wandered a little in this town searching for a PokeCenter, but what he was really looking for was the gym. But it seemed he just can't find it, so he decided to ask the first person that comes by. First person that came by was a young looking guy, wearing a white T-shirt and some sort of shorts. "Hey kid, sorry for interupting you, but..." Luke said "do you maybe know where is the gym in this town?".....
 
Kaoru:


Now he had got Crystal and the boy out of that place, he was going to go back to Nightray. Team Galactic had fell in that place, but he wasn't going to let them fall in any other place. As a secret commander of Team Galactic, Mercury, Kaoru was not going to let the place fall. Although, in a way he did not care. If Galactic fell then he'd just simply join the winning side, after all he didn't like to be threatened and failure was out of the question. Crystal and the boy was trying to talk to him, but he just left. Crystal knew the type of person Kaoru was, and knew he didn't really stick around to chat. He had to befriend a few more gym leaders though, before they started to get suspicious about him. He quickly made his way back to Nightray using the train.


Through out the train journey he kept looking at his watch, hoping that he would not be late to greet the bug-type gym leader. He was also thinking long and hard about what to do with Team Galactic. He had thought that perhaps making a training ground to toughen them up would be better. Each Galactic member would have to go through a series of events to show they were tough enough to be a Galactic member. If they failed, they'd have to go under some intense training.


The train came to a halt, and Kaoru stepped out of it. He looked upon the town of Nightray and smiled. There was a mixture of good and bad folk in the town. No-one would ever suspect a thing. He wandered to his gym and looked at it. It was shrouded in darkness. He sat down on a bench near it and pulled out a cigarette. He lit it up and then watched the smoke trail off and up into the sky. There seemed to be something permanently gloomy about the city. He shook his head and took a breath of his cigarette in. A lock of his hair fell into his eye. He squinted and pushed it out. He looked to the side of him and saw in the near distance, a taxi.


"Is that him? Adam the Bug-Type Gym leader?" He whispered to himself before taking another breath of the lit stick.
 
Adam had nearly fallen asleep in the soft leather seats of the car when suddenly it grinded to a halt. He sat up with a jolt, and thanked the driver, passing a long paper note across and saying: "keep the change." With that he put his hand on the cold metal handle, and pushed it forcefully. Stepping out into the cold night, he shivered a bit and wished he'd brought his coat. Looking around, he tried to spot the gym leader. It was quite busy around, but luckily no one took too much notice of him. He spied a bench in the corner of his eye, and saw a figure sitting on it. Adam instantly recognised him as Kaoru, and walked up to him. Adam was annoyed that the gym leader was smoking; he despised smokers, but decided not to make something of it. Sitting down on the cold wooden bench, trying not to get his trousers covered in birds mess, he looked up to Kaoru and quietly said:
"Hello. You are Kaoru, aren't you?"
 
"Hey kid, sorry for interupting you, but..." Someone said to me, "do you maybe know where is the gym in this town?"
"Yea, its down this road you can't miss it, but the gym leader is not there." I, the Gym leader, said. "Why, you want to face him to get your gym badge?"
"Man I like new trainers, and messing with them." I thought.
"Thanks." the kid said to me as he ran toward the gym.
"Hey I'm Jamie by the way!" I called after him.
"Mabey I should head back and face him. or mabey not..." I thought as I turned around and started to walk back to the place.
 
Luke heard the kid saying his name is Jamie, but he was already running to the gym and he didn't have time to stop and answer. With the directions he got, he easily found the gym which really couldn't be missed. "It's only one more thing, that kid said the gym leader wasn't around, was he a trainer too, or?" Luke said as he approached the gym's door. Luke saw a sign on the side of the gym's entrance and it said: "Ice Gym - Leader Jamie" and then it got to Luke. That kid was just messing with him, he is the gym leader. "Oh....Great.... I hope he comes here quick" Luke said as he sat in front of the gym "I better rest my legs until then".....
 
"Come on." Refr said softly, "I wont leave you, I know what it is like to be alone. I will protect you, even If I must die doing so." He rose from his spot, "Now lets get out of this dang fog." he said, closing his eyes he let out short bursts of his emotion. Using it like echo-location he made a map of the fastest route to the next city in his mind. He pulled out one of his scarfs and held it out to his friend, "Put this on, it will get cold in this fog really quickly." and after she had put it on they started to walk to the nearest town, other than the one just down the ridge. As they wandered through the woods they slowly left the fog and soon they stood in the empty road. "Well, This must lead to that next town. I think that is where the First gym is, and if you want to do that weird GYM challenge thingy then you will start there." he walked in the way that his feelings showed.

Then something struck him, Hard. he fell to the ground and looked up to see that some weird black and white flying thing* had attacked him, Then he saw Eves Eevee jump on it, bringing both to the ground. Eve was commanding the little ball of brown like he commanded his pokemon the other day, with authority. I will jump in if she needs me to, but I want to see if she has it in her. He thought, as he stood from where the pokemon had dropped him, "Come on Eve! Hey you little Fur Ball, If you win this Ill make you your own hammock." He cheered Eve on, "It only caught me off guard." He said holding back a giggle.

*This White and Black thing is not a bad joke, It is a starly.
 
Sapphire:

Sapphire and Refr was soon coming out of the fog. He was talking about the "Weird" Gym challenge, which actually had appealed to Sapphire. Suddenly some black and white thing attacked Refr. Sapphire's eyes narrowed and Xerxes quickly rose to the challenge jumping onto it's back and bringing it down to the floor. Sapphire's eyes lit up with a resolve. She shut her eyes and then opened them quickly watching as Xerxes looked up at his mistress as if asking for commands. She nodded.

"Xerxes! Tail whip and follow it up fast with a tackle!" Sapphire pointed her finger at the wild foe, and Xerxes acted loyally. The tail whip was a little shaky, and the bird Pokémon just flew over it, but Xerxes was a lot more fast than it and the tackle was a critical hit. Sapphire smirked and watched the Pokémon hit the tree. It let out a sound of pain but struggled to get up onto it's feet. Sapphire took a Pokéball from her pocket, she was going to capture it.

Refr had sensed something and quickly turned his body. "Eve! Look out!" He shouted. Sapphire turned around and saw a Shinx running and jumping up at her. She blinked in shock and almost screamed, but Xerxes had jumped up in front of her and used a tackle with out Sapphire's command. The other Pokémon fell back a little, and Sapphire turned back to the other Pokémon. Her face dropped when she saw it had flown away. She scratched her head and sighed but turned back to the newer wild Pokémon. It was blue and black, with quite cute eyes. It stood in an intimidating manner and Sapphire made eye contact with it while slowly reaching into her Pocket and bringing out the Pokédex. It flipped open and the voice crackled and said.

"Shinx, the electric Poké-" Sapphire quickly shut it over. All she needed was the name and the type.

"Xerxes! We need this Pokémon on our team! It holds great potential." She turned back at the tree a little. She scowled at the fact she had failed to catch the flying type Pokémon. A flying type would have been the perfect catch for her, since it was something Eevee could not evolve into. "Xerxes, lets have a sand attack then a tackle!" The small creature jumped to it quickly. It kicked some mud up into the foe's face. The Shinx closed it's eyes as the accuracy of it fell, not being able to open it's eyes properly. Through the dust, Xerxes ran and tackled the electric creature, that tried to protect itself by using a spark. Xerxes still hit the opponent, but also suffered the weak electric attack and consequently became paralyzed. "Xerxes!" She shouted, but noticed that it was her chance to catch the Shinx while it was blinded and weakened. She through the Pokéball and with it rocking a few times, it finally settled. "Woo! I caught it!" She announced with a happy smile putting the Pokéball into her pocket. She walked over to Xerxes. "You were awesome guy." She pat his head and then picked him up and cradled him. "Come on Refr, we need to find a Poké Center." Sapphire walked ahead of Refr and looked down at the injured Xerxes. A little of it's fur was spiked out and it could hardly move.

Kaoru:

Kaoru spotted Adam walking towards him. Once he sat down next to him, Kaoru chucked the smoke to the floor and stubbed it out with the heel of his foot. "Yeah, I'm Kaoru. I'm guessing you're Adam. It's nice to see you could make it." He stated expressionless. The quicker he could befriend the bug type leader, the quicker he could go to bed or work on the new Galactic idea. "I have a training spot round the back, follow me." Kaoru led him to a secret training ground. It was very light there and catered for all types of Pokémon. The light however, put Kaoru's Pokémon at a disadvantaged, but he just saw it as toughening them up.

"Here how we should battle. There on the trees are 5 targets. For our first practice, each of our Pokémon should hit the targets. Only if they hit them dead in the middle will they shatter. Get it?" Kaoru asked, looking at Adam before releasing his Pokémon. "Blade, Haunter, Hondour, Weavile get out here." The Pokémon got out of the balls and lined up in front of their master. "I'll let you go first Adam."
 
"Ha Ha!" I laughed as i walked toward my gym. "Man messing with trainers is fun." I thought to myself.
I walked I soon saw the kid i had given directions to. "Sup, bro? you made it here." I said to him as i walked up the steps.
"You are the gym leader." He stated.
"No need to be mad. Come in your wet." I said to him."So you looking to get your first gym badge?"
"Yea, now fight me." He said.
I walked through the doors and into the lobby and said. "Go to the Poke'Center. Rest your pokemon then come back. I don't want to fight with a handicap. What's your name kid?"
I was rather bored and wanted to take out my Pichu and train so i could use him in battle.
I was walking around picking up things that were left on the floor and then went to the battle arena.
The Arena is a big pool with large slabs of ice that my pokemon could stand on.
 
"I'm Luke and I am not handicaped... my Pokemon are in perfect shape..." Luke said as he followed him to the battle area. "Impressive..." Luke thought as he looked at the ice battle field. "Look Jamie, if I can call you that? You are a gym leader, and I challenge you too a duel and by your status you are obligated to accept." Luke said to Jamie and smiled. "It's showtime..." He said to himself. "What are your gym rules? 2 Pokemon each? Luke asked.....
 
"Naw It depends on how many pokemon you have and i have 5 and you have...? But it will be first to K.O. all the others pokemon." I Said to Luke. ",and you can call me Jamie." I hopped over to my pokemon battle arena standing spot on the other side of the field. "Alright lets go! Sneasel!"...
 
"Well since you have 5 Pokemon it wouldn't be fair to me, and since I have 3 Pokemon I guess we are going to go 3 on 3..." Luke said an hopped in the battle field on the opposite side from Jamie. Jamie already called Sneasel out: "As I expected...An Ice type Pokemon... Go Pyro" Luke said and throwed his ball out in the field, soon a silhouette of Charmander showed and in a few seconds Pyro was out in the field ready to battle. "Let's win our first badge Pyro!" Luke yelled and the battle began....
