All you need to do is set the old man's id as 1000 or 1001. Which, by the way, Are they empty usable flags?

Finally, I found a topic where we can request help in scripting... I'm currently hacking POKEMON RUBY...

Hey all. I kinda like to ask you all a favor.

Well.., I really want to have a script for the legendary dogs. It goes like this...

When the player sets their eyes on the three legendary dogs, the three will growl and then will run away in different directions, just like in POKEMON GOLD, SILVER and SHINY GOLD.

Yeah, I know what you mean by that. But the only solution that works for me is to use diamond cutter for scripts that require things such as compare lastresult, and mutli boxes. I thought of an easy way to make it work, but It's like 10:45 PM right now, so I'm tired and don't feel like explaining it. I'll do it tomorrow.
 
i have decided to start my hack again but on a fire red rom and not a leaf green rom because there is more programs that work with fire red. but i still have some questions

1. what is the item code for oaks parcel

2. what is the item code for the town map

3. i need a working egg script for togepi please

4. an item list for fire red

these are all on fire red.

i hope someone can anwser them

I think you should check the toolbox or rom hacking resources section.
 
it also got nealy full up with script tests because i didnt test my scripts before i inserted them. plus leaf green dont work with a-mart and fire red does. for me anyway. foullump can you upload you advance text ini please because im having problems with it

I want to make a shiny pokemon battle, how i do that? ScriptED or Pokéscript doesn't matter...
I already tryed a few things, but is doesn't work..
 
I'm not very good at searching but i've gone to the Tutorials.

I want a hack to have a normal start like from gold and silver, where you just go and pick your Pokemon.

[Sorry if theres already something about it, i'm just a bit of a newbie :P]

Well.. If you want this in R/S/E you just need to script all that :P
You always can take a look at the FR/LG script to see how it works..
