5th Gen Seasons in Unova

What is your favorite season in B/W?
I love winter. The addition of snow in Gen. IV made me so happy! So when it's winter in Unova, it's mandatory to go find some snow and run around in it. The only thing is that my cute little female protagonist must get cold running around in those short-shorts.

What is your favorite form of Deerling and Sawsbuck?
Spring! I love pretty pink Deerlings and the Sawsbucks' antlers littered with little flowers. Haru, my boy Sawsbuck, only comes out when it's spring because he looks too adorable with flowers to not be covered in flowers, ya'know?

Do you like the aesthetic changes in some areas during different seasons (Icirrus City, Twist Mountain etc)?
Indeed I do, though I wish there was more.

Do you like the introduction of seasons in the games?
I love it! And I like how it cycles every month, instead of having to wait four months for each new season. And how the winter season falls strategically on December.

Do you think seasons make Unova look realistic?
I wouldn't say realistic, but they definitely add substance. I just wish the player's outfit cycled with the seasons. Like, shorts during the summer, but a nice warm coat during the winter.

yeah, but they should have added snowmans or something.

yeah.

not really, because they normally change seasons in one month or so which isn't that realistic.
 
My fave season is probably summer cos the background is so nice in summer.

I like summer Deerling and winter Sawsbuck.

The aesthetic changes were amazing, especially snow patches in Mistralton City, Driftveil City and Routes 6 & 7 during winter.

I like the seasons being a feature in Pokemon games, gives you a different experience every time.

I think the seasons make Unova look so real in terms of environment.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of winter cos you can't evolve Eevee into Glaceon during winter and also some areas have hail meaning you need Ice-type Pokemon to get through easily.

Thankfully, I imported an Eevee and evolved him into Glaceon during summer (I imported the other Eeveelutions via Poke Transfer).

But I do like my Sawsbuck when she's in her Winter Form with that beautiful white fur.

As for the Casteliacone, the reason it's only sold in warmer months is because ice cream in reality is at its sales peak in warm months (in fact, it's summer in my home country of Australia right now).

At least winter is a great time to train Ice-type Pokemon.

I like the seasons, but I wish they would correspond with the real seasons. It would make the special map/music changes even more special, since they would only be once a year.

That's my only complaint.

-My favorite is Autumn, mainly because I love Fall colors.

What is your favorite form of Deerling and Sawsbuck?
-I don't really like Deerling or Sawbuck. But I guess it would the Autumn one because of the pretty colors.

-Oh yes! I think it's cool how in the winter in Icirrus City, the little lake/puddle things get frozen over, and you can just slide across. It's really neat, and Twist Mountain I believe was only fun in the Winter. It's really complicated, so I decided to go through it in the winter, that way it's easier for me.

-Mhmmm! They're wonderful!

-Yes! I really hope they continue the seasons thing into the next game! I'll be sad if they don't!

Winter because the snowy scenery is so pretty o3o

Yeah, I think it's pretty clever how the surroundings change; such as Icirrus City's lake freezing over in the winter.

It's unique, so yeah.

The Winter form is my favourite, it just suits so much for aesthetic reasons and survival reasons. It's white fur helps it camouflage into the snow.

Yes, they just make the world look better as a whole

Do you like the introduction of seasons in the games?
I think it is a step in the right direction for the pokemon games. Maybe one day we will have special days in the games like Christmas and Easter.

Not realistic so much as more like our world. It sure does make it more relatable to our world.
 
I like the seasonal aspect of the game and I do think it adds an element of realism to the Pokemon series. My favourite season is probably winter as it's probably the most unique of the four seasons in how it changes the Pokemon world.

.Winter since it snows in certain areas giving access to certain places

.Deerling: Either summer, spring, or autumn
.Sawsbuck: Summer or autumn due to those cool leaves on it's antlers

Winter because it lets me go to areas I couldn't access before.

Summer Deerling because it's green :)
Winter Sawsbuck is my favorite because it's the most unique out of all of them.

It makes Twist Mountain look really cool in the Winter.

Oh, definitely.

Of course! It's still unusual to see the seasons rotate every month or so, but it's still a nice feature to have.
 
I don't really have a favorite season, but if I must pick it's Winter, I like it on real life, and I like its color palette, and how it changes the overworld, the same (color palette and changes) applies to Sawbuck, but as for Deerling, I prefer the Spring (Pink) one.

Although I think that seasons could have been worked better and could have changed the overworld more, I meant, outside winter, there aren't big changes to the world

My favourite season in B/W would have to be Winter.

What is your favorite form of Deerling and Sawsbuck?
My favourite form of Deerling is the Spring form as it is the first form I saw and instantly loved it.. as for Sawsbuck, the Winter form is my favourite with it's white antlers and the white snow like fur around the neck and legs.

During winter, I love this affect it has at Twist Mountain.

I thought it was a nice addition.

Yes, I think it adds a realistic aspect to the game, as did the day/night and following partners.
 
I find it really cool that I get to experience my first seasonal change in the game on New Year's Day! XD I also do love the fact that there's a slight instrumental change to the overworld music. This is an awesome feature, man! :D

I do, but I have to wait for one month for the season to change in order to access the whole area, and I find that a little troublesome.

Spring, just like in real life. I like spring in Unova because of the pink flowers that fly by on Route 1. The music change is pretty nice too.

What is your favorite form of Deerling and Sawsbuck?
Spring for Deerling (pink!) and Winter for Sawsbuck.

Yes, I do. I think it's nice since the landscapes don't become boring so fast.

Yes, yes I do. It makes things interesting in terms of scenery.

As realistic as a Pokemon game can get, I suppose. I do wish, however, that Black and White got costume changes depending on the seasons. Really, how does White not catch pneumonia while running around Twist Mountain in the winter wearing what she does?!
