a few months ago i was on wifi. i used my shuckle exeggutor and octillery pass.

so i sent out shuckle first against his infernape. i badly poisoned it with toxic and spammed protec and after every 2nd protect i used rest. infernape went down and i still had full hp.

next he sent out giratina. i again used toxic protect and rest combination. and so my shuckle beat his giratina, also at full health.

then he sent out luxray, my pp for protect was empty so i continuely used rest while the poison killed him.
so yeah i bet a infernape giratina and luxray with only shuckle and even ended the match with having full hp :D

You're totally correct. A well trained Shuckle can be he strongest of all Pokemon.
I still remember the Shuckle of that lady from the Battle Frontier... dammit, she was too tough

    Hey there Wobbuffet.
Yes that Shuckle combination works perfectly
1.Shuckle is a deffensive pokemon, so Toxic and Protect are good
2.I just like the little guy. Anyways that was an epic win, go shuckle!

Ya shuckle can be cool like that even super effective moves don't even do half to him

I like that fact that Shuckle's immune to Pain Split because all of his walling ptential comes from base 260 Def. and Sp. DEf.

Yep, Shuckle can do great things. Its Defensive stats are ridiculous. And also, if you want another boost, try out Sandstorm as well. And holding Leftovers does wonders. :)

now i wanna test this my infernape will never go down to that tactic
in that case feint would be obliteration to u plus if i give him a pecha berry fail

The thing that I love about pokemon is that even a pokemon that you catch in some random grass patch can be your most powerful

I am on my dsi internet right now :)

Shuckle dies to a critical hit. Or a Seismic Toss. Leech Seed of a Grass/Poison FTW

Shuckle dies to any critical or a Blissey Seismic Toss. Also, because it can't hit anything hard enough, it's setup fodder for a sweeper, such as...Infernape, who should've owned you hardcore with something like Fire Blast or Focus Blast. :S

Also, Pokemon that setup Substitutes such as Breloom massively lol @ it, because not only does a Substitute prevent Toxic from damaging a Pokemon, but Breloom prefers poison as poison heals it instead of doing damage. It can fire off STAB Focus Punches without any problem whatsoever.

Also, without Knock Off, a Steel-Type such as Scizor or Metagross can switch in and bring down Shuckle with STAB Choice Banded moves such as Bullet Punch or Meteor Mash (Metagross' Meteor Mash is especially dangerous because of the potential to gain an Attack boost off it), and they are immune to both Toxic and Sandstorm, so all Shuckle can really do in your situation is pray to PP stall them.

Also, your opponent must have been pants-on-head retarded if their Giratina lost to your Shuckle; anyone smart who plays Giratina in the first place uses Rest + Sleep Talk, a strategy that would tear apart your Shuckle strategy.

Therefore, you got lucky and pulled off a sweep. Good for you, but don't go making a claim that isn't true. Even the best Pokemon in the world can suck if it's in the wrong hands.

i think shuckle is a pretty cool guy. eh kills pokemonz and doesn't afraid of anything

    M'kay, that aside, I kind of like Shuckle a lot. But... I'm not exactly a competitive battler per say, so I can't say much more than it's strong against NPCs.. xD;;

I like Shuckle. Although how strong it is depends on how you use it, and how opponents use their Pokémon.

I've started using Shuckle after I finished Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness and Shuckle rocks, I love using it

    :t354:TG

Shuckle's different to say the least.
Its move Power Trick definitely helps its attack problem out.

One of the problems is facing the Steel types, you can't poison or sandstorm them.
That's how I defeat Pike Queen Lucy. :P

Yep. Steel types are pretty much Shuck's Achilles' heel. But it's still awesome. I have one I AR'd with spite. :P Once again, I usually won't use it, but it's fun to play with. Shuckle is awesome.

I should completely give it Battle Armor, though... Hmm...
