Since when is there a rule about keeping all elements within the table? I know it's common sense but there's no rule against it. >:[

they are not getting any tighter... just the established rules are being enforced a bit better now... thanks to the hard work of some dedicated (sig) mods.

also as far as I'm concerned, as long as your sig is within the rules for sizes and stuff AND does not break the themes (any of them) then its most likely OK. The mods may have different opinions and since they 'police' the sigs, its up to them.

I didn't see anything mentioned, but what is the limit of the filesize for signature images?

Would an animated gif image of 425 x 100, and 259 KB be too big? :O
It's one I use on another Pokémon site, but I want to check before I go and put it in my signature here.

You're definitely well within the limits, considering you're allowed to have more lines of text than even that if you have no pictures in your sig.

Okay, I queried about the filesize and whatever of my banner the other day, and i've actually put it in my signature now..

Is that all within reason? =3
And is there a limit to the number of links you have in a sig? I have one at the moment, but I thought i'd ask before I include any more...

And there are no limits on the number of links-- you can have as many as you want as long as the text doesn't break the limits normally.
