Simple Q&A Thread

REALLY urgent question.

I haven't ried my hand at the Battle Frontier since I was REALLY n00btastic so I decuided to give the battle tower a go. I started over Sapphire and plan on using Regice (Resttalk) for it and I got a pretty good one:

IVs:

HP-25-27
Atk-25-27 (lol)
Def-25-27
Spd-LOL
SAtk-18-19
SDef-15-17

With a Calm Nature.

Considering it's for Battle Frontier in emerald, would that be good enough? I mean, its SDef is so Uber I don't even care about those IVs and the Def/HP is good enough for me. I just wonder...is that enough SAtk?
 
Meh, I suppose. IV reseting is a pain.

hehe well I have a Master Ball so I can pretty much try as often as I want, so I'd really rather not settle for anything.

BTW I will be Eving it 252 HP / 196 Def / 56 Def / 4 SDef if that impacts your thinking at all. Thanks ^_^

it doesn't really matter I just swept the whole battle tower with my non ev trained pokemon its not that hard

They Battle Frontier isn't as easy as you think.

My Snorlax was beaten by SPECIAL sweepers at the battle tower thanks to 3 consecutive critical hits. I'm not taking any chances with this.
 
It really does. 25 Would suffice.

then how come I have 100 consecutive wins???????? wait are you talking about ruby/sapphire tower or D/P tower? because the ruby/sapphire is the one I swept... (too lazy to do D/P

I've said more than enough times that it's pokemon EMERALD (and yes sims this IS an exmaple of when it isn't for emphasis it's for yelling ;))

That looks ok, may want a little more sp.def and sp.att, but its usable.


I soft re-setted for about 100 hours, didnt count, but it took me weeks for my regi.


First attempt on my Emerald i got this

Regice

Sassy nature

HP - 24

ATT - X

DEF - 31

SP.ATT - 12 =[

SP.DEF - 27

SPEED - X


Second try i got this on my Ruby

Regice

Calm nature

HP - 29

ATT - X

DEF - 30

SP.ATT - 27

SP.DEF - 31

SPEED - X

Hell yeah !!! lol and its got S-Toss.

Regi doesnt beat the other legendaries i SR for though , took me months for those, like 8 months, yes i am sad =p

I would trade/give you a regi but no, you dont even have wifi >=[

In fact it's at level 50 now.

This is my first shot at the E4 in quite some time, should be fun ;)

Also why do people hate on Registeel so much? I know it has a few really crippling weaknesses, but it has a ton of resistances and solid defensive stats. I just don't get it :0

Registeel is actually good IMO

252 HP / 56 Def / 200 Sp.D
Relaxed Nature
- Hammer Arm / Earthquake
- Thunderbolt / Thunder
- ice Punch
- Rest / Toxic

= Win and Anti lead xD

Plenty of coverage makes up for lackluster offenses =p
 
Is there a set with Explosion on it? hehe, I love that move.

But I really would like to try it out sometime since I've never actually used Regislteel but I love the regi trio :(
 
Pokerus Question:

A Pokemon Holding EXP Share will get the original EV's from the Pokemon that was defeated, right? Does Pokerus still work if the Pokemon holds EXP share? Ex: A Starly is defeated, and the Pokemon holding EXP Share that didn't took place in battle gets 2 EV's instead of one.
 
Darn! Aww well, thank you for the info. My Pokemons EV's would really be messed up if I didn't know that:P
 
Guys I have another urgent question.

Last time anything of mine got Pokerus I was a n00b and let the disease slip away. earlier tonight though I found that Regice of mine with Pokerus (too bad I already EVed it >.>) but I'm mega-ecstatic.

Problem is I don't know how to conserve pokerus, or keep it so that I can pass it on to other pokemon. How do you do that?

I assume keep this stuff in your box or something?

exactly right my electivire has been in my box for like a year now, and it still has pokerus so yap just keep in the box OR! when he's in your party with others it should spread around to everyone
 
Yeah, you can hold it as long as it is in your box before midnight on any day. To spread it, make the holder be first in party and then go into a random battle. The pokemon next to it might get infected.

Spread it to as many Pokemon as you can, then put them in your boxes. Pokemon in your boxes don't lose Pokerus, ever. However, when the clock strikes midnight, all the Pokemon in your party lose Pokerus- put them in boxes overnight, if you have to.

Or just keep changing the date to the day before.
