Ok, while still revising my teem for when I rebeat the game for a third time, I wantedto know from another open minded person, how is Torterra nowadays? Again, good and bad, I don't mind if i t happens to be outclassed.

Well :t251: ^____^

Nah, i suppose its ok, i mean he can come in on tyranitar and rhyinferior aswell as tank over a few things with its nice resistances and great support movepool and it can also rock polish , SD and pull of a CB and sub seed set but i cant help but see stuff like scizor loling at it =[.

But it should do ok i think...

Of couse, I don't want to use anything that phails, so Celibic is out (Celibic lakz the secks lolol)

Okay, another question in usability, as I am still constructing a new team for myself. In OU, how is Rpaidash? Like, do you thinl it will die immediatley upppn entering? it can double status, its pretty speedy, and it can use Giga Impact, which OHKOs Blissey--an impossible task.

Well I think using Rapidash in OU simply to OHKO Blissey is a bit of a no brainer. There are plenty of other Pokemon who can OHKO Blissey, it is just the fact that she will never stay in on a Physical Attacker..

...

I never thought i'd ever have to say this. Especially about this. That was sarcasm. Of the epic kind. Seriously now, come on.

Now, if I can have a legit answer. Is Zrapidash useful in the OU metagame.

Rapidash's nice speed can make it a pretty fast statuser in OU. Maybe a ScarfHypnosis lead would work. Rapidash's main problem is that its main STAB-Flare Blitz- gives it massive recoil. With the large number of hard hitters, Rapidash will get taken down pretty quickly if it uses Flare Blitz too much.

However, if you used a mixed Rapidash set, it could put some surprise into teams. Rapidash has a base 80 special attack, which isn't half bad. It could pull off a mixed set of Overheat/Megahorn/Return/Flare Blitz, or something like that. Rapidash could also status and pass of Agilities. It also gets Flash Fire, which could be helpful.

Overall, as long as you keep Rapidash around full health, it can cause some damage. It's hindered by SR and its inability to hit as hard as a lot of main threats, who usually carry around 110+ attack or special attack, compared to Rapidash's 100.

I am thinking of EV'ing an Abra and a Beldum. I have an EV spread for them, but I want to know if it is OK. Abra will be used as a Special Sweeper and Metagross a Physical Wall.

Abra: 252 Sp.Atk, 252 Speed, 6 Sp.Def
Beldum: 252 Atk, 252 Def, 6 HP.

Can this be improved?

Abra's spread is fine, make sure to use timid.

Metagross, however, is not a particularly good physical wall despite having the raw stats. Lack of recovery move means you're better off with the RestTalk set:

Metagross@Lefties/Shed Shell
Adamant
252HP/176Att/40Def/40SpDef
Rest
Sleep Talk
Earthquake
Meteor Mash

I'd run 252HP/252Def/4Att if you want to use him as a fully fledged physical wall, but yeah restTalk is your best bet at walling.

Yeah, I have a Buneary with Klutz. Will items like Power Anklet and such give her the extra EVs, or will they have no effect? :c

Im pretty sure they will still give extra evs and they still cut your speed in half too when they are held since klutz doesnt stop that either x]

I believe macho brace is the same. it isn't a battle item.

Since every pokemon gives out EVs, does that mean if you're going to train your pokemon for EVs, you're limited to what pokemon you can train on?
Thanks :3

Yes, you're limited to training on the pokemon that give out the specific EVs that you need.
What is usually done, is a method called EV Training, where you fight for the required number of EVs and then you can level the Pokemon up from there. If the pokemon is too under-levelled to gain the EVs, you can always give it an EXP Share as the item causes it to gain the same EVs as the fighting pokemon.

sorting pkmn

how do you know if a pkmn belongs more in the sweeper/wall/support group?

do we look at stats or diffrent attacks?

does nature matter?

on shoddy i ev'd dragonite's atk to 252 and the stat was 403, i changed its nature to adamant(that nature gives plus atk)and it was still 403, so in game (D/P/P) does nature really matter explanashun plz

ty in adv

yeah, the Iv's on your adament dragonite must have been horrible. The diff between a jolly garchomp and an adament one is jolly is like 361 and adament is about 415 though Jollys speed is about 314 and adaments is 270 something so eah Natures are a very big deal. Adament gives your attack stat 10% more then if it were jolly

so i just need to get the right nature then EV train(right nature for that pkmn)?
