3rd Gen Simple Questions

In my FireRed I evolved my Venonat to a Venemoth and in Serebii it says it learns Silver Wind, but not a certain level. There's just a dash there, and so doesn't that mean it learns it upon evolution? But mine didn't... It's now level 41 and I thought it would learn it by now.

Can someone explain?
 
I think something is wrong with my FireRed version. After trading a Smeargle over from Emerald version my Paras had a Mew cry! After that I put Smeargle infront of my party and went to Ice Fall cave. In Ice Fall cave I ran into a Golbat and clicked on FIGHT then on SCETCH. My Smeargle's speed wasn't very good so Golbat attacked first and it's attack happend to be Confuse Ray. My Smeargle scetched the move so I used Confuse Ray until Golbat fainted. I looked at Smeargle's summery and instead of having Scetch as a move it had Confuse Ray! I got out of Ice Fall cave and went to the Pokemon Center and Revived my pokemon. I looked at Smeargle's summery again and Smeargle still had Confuse Ray. I went to Vermillion city and ran into a wild Spearow. I used Confuse Ray until I ran out of PP for it and Spearow fainted. I checked Smeargle's summery and it still had Confuse Ray! I put it in my box and took it out and looked at it's summery, but it still had the move. I went to the trade center and I looked at it's summery in Emerald version and it said that Smeargle had Confuse Ray. Can anyone explain this? I really want my Smeargle to have Scetch again!
 
When you use sketch it keeps the move it learns. But i think you can get sketch again every 5 levels till you have 4 of them.
 
Ummmm. There is nothing wrong with your game. That is what Sketch does. It copies the last move of your opponent's Poke. That is the whole point of that move. That is what makes Smeargle such a great breeding Poke.

Don't fret though. Smeargle learns Sketch again every 10 levels, starting at Lv11.
 
well, i got a question. in FR/LG, or R/B/Y, what fossil should be chosen? omanyte or kabuto?

and, who is the strongest-aerodactyl,omastar or kabutops?

Depends how you use them, although Aerodactyl is the "Strongest" as it's base stats are higher.
 
Bulbasaur - Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
Charmander - Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)
Squirtle - Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
 
Ummmm, no. That would be a horrible nature for Charizard since not having a strong Fire attack totally makes it even more useless than it already is.

Dragonite / Aerodactyl >>>>> Charizard

I believe the loss is about $5000-$6000 depending on which member of the E4 you are battling.

I cannot really say for sure since I haven't whited out to verify, but you are supposed to lose half of your money. So it really depends on how much money you had at the time you whited out. If you went into the W5 with ZERO cash, here is what you earn battling the so-called "Elite" (read: pathetic) trainers in the Kanto region:

Lorelei: $5400
Bruno: $5600
Agatha: $5800
Lance: $6000
Gary: $6300 (verified)

You earn money from them, but the amount is usually the same as thier highest level(unless you use the amulet coin of course).

For example

If there highest level is 54 then you get $5400 and so on.
 
In FireRed, LeafGreen, Diamond and Pearl, losing will take away money, but it's not half unlike most of the other games. Instead, I think it's a fixed amount based off the value of the Pokémon team you have with you. I guess it depends on the level of your Pokémon, but it's certainly not half now.
