Skype Thread

I kind of don't want to be a host and only be there for one day. Doesn't exactly paint a good image. Besides, aren't hosts supposed to be on for more than one day? lol

Also, I simply don't know when I'm coming back. I'm betting that I'll be back by the 6th. But my parents are ridiculously fickle, so I wouldn't be surprised if we decided to stay there for there for the rest of the month. :I

I'll be at uni for the whole weekend that the GT is on (starting from the 7th) so I won't be especially active either with only being able to host one full day. I mean, the choice is yours, but it's definitely not impossible and...is definitely not a waste of time.
 
I mean, I'm not going to be online at all. On the 5th and 8th for sure, and most likely the 6th. If my father decides to stick around in Maryland with his old college buddy, I'll be out the 7th too. My fear isn't that I'll only be able to host one day (though I do feel that just shows inconsistency). I'm worried that I'll make the decision to still be host and then not be on at all.
 
Awww, Dipu, this is really a predicament, isn't it?

So far there have been no plans that have been made for me by my dad for this weekend, so I'm all green.

I'd suppose I can do double time (shifts), but I'll try to see if I can find someone to help assist.

I still think you should be able to host just one day though, you still have us, Dipu, so no worries there. :\
 
That's sad news, Bloo..but as Twi mentioned, we all understand. :)

But seeing that I'm going out with friends on the night of the 4th (9:00 pm = 12:00 am which is probably the time the GT opens) I miiiight not be around, but will be afterwards. Soooooo that leaves with either Harley or Twi to post the thread.

I mean, not much else is to be done left except for the emblem description. xD
 
Well, I've been talking about it with Blade. I think there's a good shot that I'll be able to post the thread (and leave a message saying my predicament) so at the very least that little bit won't be an issue. I'm still not sure what I'm going to do about the 7th, but I guess if I'm posting the thread, it makes sense that I at least do something else.

Sorry bout the predicament and thanks for understanding guys! This trip to DC better be spectacular, cause I really wanted to see more of Skype Central in action :I

IM Chat or Voice Chat, skyping is a great way to keep in touch with friends living far away, nearby, or just a town away. We hope you had a wonderful time in this year's Skype event! during the 2013 Get Together!

I underlined it because I was wondering what we're going to name this skype event. Like last year I named it "Skype Central" and in 2011 "Skype-a-Thon" soooo not really sure xD

sooo 3 2 1 yes or no @ emblem description/title?

Title's fine, but I feel the description should have Get Together 2013 somewhere in there. As for this year's event name, I kept the name Skype Central, but we can change it, if anyone wants to!

Also, and update on the drama "As Dipu's Life Turns". Apparently my father's college buddy from DC is "busy" according to my dad. When I asked him if that meant we weren't going, he just said "I don't know". Keep them fingers crossed!

I like Skype Festival, don't recall using it in the past soooo

Just throwing these out there since they came to my mind::"Café a La Skype" and Festivities of Skype. Or "We're working on a better Skype this year!"

I still like Megan's though. :)

Cafe a La Skype (con accento) works nicely, given X/Y's French influences. Also, I forgot everything about the anime, so I'm surprised. =P

Er. Also, about me. Father feels bad that we're not going to DC, so I think he might drag me somewhere. Not anywhere nearly as far as DC, though, so I'll probably still be here, yay!

Well, that's awesome Bloodee! I mean, at least you'll be sticking around! oh and btw...you should probably change the thread title in the CSS just so you knowwww (and the image for the logo (in the "introduction" section") is broken so it could either be replaced or removed...your choice!)

Ahh, probably my end then...my internet's probably derpy.

Yay! I am so EXCITED for opening night tonight! I will proooooobably be an hour late due to 4th of July festivities. (Fireworks display at my school start at 9:30 and I'll be with a few friends there), and then I'll just hang out for a few and catch some shut-eye for my shift! :D
 
Kinda wish there was a way I could just leave Skype on, haha. But this should definitely be fun. I'll be able to host tomorrow morning (assuming my lazy ass can wake up). Father might drag me out in the afternoon, but if I'm lucky, the laptop'll stay on. Or something. Hehe.
