    So whats your favorite pokemon?

    Snorlax definitely, you could just go Snorlax roll over, Slaking crushed
     
    Well, Slaking can use Skill Swap. That makes him a lot more dangerous than you might expect, as well as crippling your opponent's Pokemon.

    I like snorlax more than slaking as he's from Gen I. I know that Slaking has gargantuan stats and the his ability can be swapped but I still prefer snorlax.

    Slaking doesn't learn Skill Swap however it does become powerful once it does.

    Snorlax > Slaking any day.
     
    Here's my thoughts on both of them.

    Slaking - "Could give Godzilla a run for its money when it comes to destroying downtown Tokyo. It launches a nice smashing attack on the Tokyo Tower but will loaf around whilst Godzilla takes down the Rainbow Ridge." -Serebii.net / Basically Hit Hard, but those who actually survive dies.

    Snorlax - Same deal as Slaking, except that it destroys little streets instead of Towers, and actually consistently goes destroying (despite with a rubbish speed) unlike Slaking who likes to take a rest every while.


    Both are HP tanks, Slaking with Physical Defense / Snorlax with Special Defense, Slaking with a legendary Attack and Snorlax with a respectable Attack. Rubbish ability for a rubbish speed. Both cancel out each other except the last part, which is unfortunate for Slaking.

    But if Slaking had ANY fighting-type move of sort, it would win.
     
    Snorlax is a beast compared to Slaking, so he clearly wins in this case.
     
    Here is some pointers why snorlax is better

    1) He doesn't fall asleep of loaf around every 2 turns
    2) With a fighting move it can kill slaking

    Snorlax because he listens to me....
     
    If Slaking didn't have its horrible ability Traunt then I would pick it,
    but seeing as it does then I would say Snorlax.
     
    Snorlax. Slaking is annoying and by looks, he's ugly.
     
    Slaking because im a double battler


    Slaking + Xatu with skill swap, then allow Slaking to Earthquake everything with Syncronize! MUAHAHAHAHAHHA

    Snorlax is a 1-trick pony. Curse... bboooorrriiinggg
