We'll have to wait for a picture to emerge. As of right now the entire Pokedex has been released. There are only 70 so far. Unless we get images with the National Pokedex Number on them all info pertaining to new Pokemon is fake.

You're pretty much giving info that's already been shared a few pages back now XD Gym Leaders, E4, and Champion have been leaked a few hours back. We know/posted them already. I say they are all pretty interesting except Gym 8 and the champion...I'm going to wreck her with a Klefki since its strong against 5 of her Pokemon XD

Well, if could be that you're making the wrong assumptions.

Yveltal is based off the unnamed eagle at the top of Yggdrasil, not the crow-like Hugunn and Muninn.
Xerneas is based off the Dainn(or other staggs).
Zygarde is based off the serpent-like dragon that gnaws at the roots of Yggdrasil, thus it's type dragon/ground.

Their roles don't have to be exact, but they fit the myth. But in any case, we need to know their story first.

This doesn't do much to convince me, but you are very right with your final point.

I still think if they are doing a Pegan thing, they chose very vegue avatars to do so with, ones that still have little to do with each other, nor France. The aditudes (which, again you are correct, I do not know of first hand) and mythos behind the pokemon seem to be irrelevant towards that of the 3 Norse creatures

We'll see though. I'm Scandinavian, and I'd certainly love to see them do something's with Peganism, I'd just like to see them do it well. As well as the 3 Jewish gods from gen 3.

Most likely fake. I doubt they would add Steam type after the E4 when there is no more room in the pokedex.

For the people who don't know. These are the E4 teams and types. And again as I said, I am not putting these in spoilers because this is a spoiler thread.

Steel's team: Klefki, Probopass, Aegislash, Scizor
Fire's Team: Pyroar, Talonflame, Torkoal, Chandelure
Dragon's Team: Dragalge, Altaria, Noivern, Druddigon.
Water Team: Clawitzer, Starmie, Gyarados, Barbaracle
Champions Diantha: Hawlucha, Aurorus, Tyrantrum, Goodra, Gourgeist, Gardevoir (Gardevoir is a Lv 68 and is a Mega)

A Steel E4? That's a first...same with water...Hoenn remakes...xD jk. I'm glad that we got types new to the the E4 this generation with only two old one's coming back (of of which appeared only in Sinnoh) as I didn't like the fact Unova's E4 was a rearrangement of types from previous E4's (well so was Hoenn but it was my first region so I didn't know about Kanto and Johto's...).

I noticed via an image that one of the E4 members is called Siebold. But yeah I'm kinda surprised we get a Steel and Water type specialist in this bunch, those two types haven't been used by an Elite Four member yet as far as type specialty is concerned. Although Dragon is getting a bit boring I have to say.

And I had a bit of a guess that Diantha would be the Champion. Now we have 3 female champions, and all came from the 3 most recent generations as well.

So, yeah there are likely more megas.

Want I am interested to see among the new pokemon of kalos are the formes.

Apparently there are possibly 2+ Vivillion patterns in addition to the polar pattern.

Also, Gourgiest, the one I am really stoked about! Please come in a variety of shapes and sizes!

I really wanted a Koala and Dolphin Pokémon this generation :(. Guess until the next... now that the leaks are slowly dying down with only post game left I wonder what will come next this generation...Zygarde looks like a Z like a lot of us predicted...but then again Kyurem was Grey/Gray...but we got no Grey/Gray Version...so maybe there'll be no Z Version...

I along with others am kind of disappointed with just 70 or so new pokes. However it is certainly not a deal breaker for me. I really did not think the pokes from gen 5 were that great or well thought out. This gen(to me) are far above that. I feel like they put a lot of thought and effort into MOST of them. I like the designs. I'm excited for new ghost/grass. One thing I have wondered about... are the megas going to be apart of the game from now on? When the next gen comes out are we still going to have megas? I do not care for the idea of the megas to much. I would of rather had them tell me that absol now evolves into this awesome new pokemon that I could have forever... Also from what I have seen I feel like they did a great job designing the game. Overall I am highly pleased. Much more excited than gen5. :D

Indeed, my points are assumptions too. A friend over on another forum posted this:

"There are a lot of theories going around that Zygarde is the Nidhogg of this generation. And who knows? Maybe we'll get our Squirrel (Ratatosk) Legendary as an Event Pokemon, or something. You never know.

However, I had reason to believe that the Legendaries for this generation were based off of Hinduism. Hinduism believes in the concept of The Creator, the Preserver, and the Destroyer. They are better known as Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, respectively. Xerneas is known as "The Life Pokemon," so it would represent Brahma. Yveltal is known as "The Destruction Pokemon," so it would represent Shiva. And if you look at this:

Zygarde is known as "The Order Pokemon." Thereby it would represent Vishnu in an abstract fashion. By upholding order, you have the ability to prolong change, therefore creating preservation in the process.

Disappointed that the last gym leader is ice type. Considering I swatted Brycen like an insect in White I'm not sure if this new gym will pose much of a problem.

Do we know anything about Nitx or does it look fake? Darn we really need another bug and poison line each.

I really like the look of gourgeist but not it's shape, hopefully there will be a bigger plumper one. I have a theory that gourgeist is bigger depending on how well you care for and feed it as Pumpkaboo in pokemon amie. It would make sense that the leaker got the smallest kind since he rushed to evolve it.

From the moment I saw that Gym badge's silhouette, I know it's Ice and I kept shaking my head. -_-
It should be Ghost, since they are one of the types that are used by experienced battlers.>:(
Ice and Grass ties for the worse type in the Pokemon universe. :|
