So PC decides to bring back username changes, but at a cost

    Pretend for a second and say PC decides to bring back username changes, but there's a catch: you aren't allowed to change your avatar or signature.

    Would you prefer this scenario to the current situation?
     
    No way would I give up those two for a name change. Mainly because I pay more attention to sigs than usernames.

    That and I'm completely happy with my username too, haha. Apparently the only person around here who is. =/
     
    No, I would never give that up to change my username, simply because I love my username. I'm glad I picked something I really liked, because when I joined I had no idea username changes were not allowed lol
     
    Eeeew, no way. I love changing my signature and avatar. >__> I'm fine with the username that I have now, especially if that were to be the trade off. No thanks. xD
     
    I wouldn't be all that unsettled if I couldn't change my avatar in exchange for a username change, but not having the ability to change my signature, that's something I'd miss. I usually update my signature very once in a while to reflect any changes I've made in my computing environment.

    Either way, I haven't wanted a name change in the past 3 years, and don't feel like that's going to change. I like my username. Even when I could change names, I only changed it to variations of this name anyway (you can check my history if you don't believe me) so I don't feel that if they brought back username changes, I'd ever use them.
     
    The only name I would ever change to is taken (though, tbh, since it's an inactive account I'd have no problem "accidentally" deleting it to free it up >_>) so it's a pretty easy decision for me. Even if the name "Cherrim" was free, I'd rather be able to change my avatar and sig moreso than my name.

    Though at least with my sig, I could just link it off-site and reupload the image if I wanted it to change. I'd just have to make damn sure any text was something I'd be okay with permanently. :x
     
    Heck no. I like to vary my avatar and signature every now and then to spice things up, but I'm perfectly satisfied with my signature as is. So I wouldn't like this change.
     
    As much as I wish I could change my username, no way. Changing my signature would especially be an insane price.
     
    I can't do that. xDD;;
    I love changing my theme depending on my current obsession, so yeah.
    Not to mention I'm fine with the username I have, even if I DID come up with it on a whim. o3o
     
    I'd rather keep the ability to change my avy then get a name change. As far as sigs go I could careless.
     
    Actually i think i would trade it, i'm only really known for my signature and to be honest i'm not planning on changing it soon or ever really xD
     
    I thought you were going to say IF NAME CHANGES COST LIKE THREE DOLLARS WOULD YOU DO IT.

    In that scenario, maybe. It deoends on if I get active here again.

    Its much easier to interchange themes than it is usernames. I like my theme and all, but I will be changing it... Someday.
     
    Oh nooooo. I would never go for it. As much as I *do* want a name change (at least take off the 90 of my username) I would not sacrifice my avatar & signature for a username change. It sounds a bit unfair.
     
    I love my username. Only thing I'd change it to would be Herdier, so, if I were to do that, I'd change to a Herdier theme, the best theme ever before I was no longer allowed to change my avatar and signature and then go with that. But then again I'm too lazy for that and I like Forever. :3
     
    I don't change my signature and currently have a custom postbit that is an off-site rotating avatar.

    I'm good.
     
    I would also rather change my signature and avatar.

    The name 'Zaspien' has become my new alias online and I don't see any reason to change it. If there was another username that I wanted to change my account to I would simply 'claim' the account but not use it. If, after claiming it, I decide that I prefer it to my current one then I would start posting on that one instead of this.

    Hopefully that made sense. :)
     
    Considering how often stuff changes around here, I'm sure by the time I wanted to change my avatar/signature, the rules would have flipped back. :p
     
    Having username changes back would be cool but your username doesn't inflect nearly as much personality as your avatar and sig do. I'd rather keep the things that say who I am moreso than my name. Besides, I don't think I'd ever -not- use Vrai anyway or at least not come back to it.
