    I suck at titles.

Anyway, in these games, there are no gyms, HMs, bikes, or trees you need to cut, plus an overhauled fishing system. What did you think about these, plus some other features unique to Sun and Moon compared to the previous generations'?

Trials were a breath of fresh air after six regions of gyms and title defenses make it seem like we're the champion, not another challenger.
No HM moves are amazing and something I'll miss. I just wish we could soar over Alola on Charizard (hopefully on Switch).
Fishing is a downside, I hate having to leave and re-enter an area just to increase my chances of getting a rare catch.
PSS is more convenient than Festival Plaza. Secret Bases (more specifically Blissey bases) are better than rare kitchens by far, as are horde battles.
Hyper training is amazing as it means you no longer have to stop the game trying to get a good IV forced capture legendary.

There are a couple of notable flaws in SM's features but like every game, it's got good and bad features and removes good/bad ones from previous games (I very much did not like walking Pokemon in HGSS, but not including the PWT in future games was a bad idea). I feel like SM's good features outweigh the bad ones.

I love the system without HMs because they would always seem to ruin my perfect movesets I've created for my team. I agree with the statement of Alola's trials being a breath of fresh air, but I don't think it'll be carried onto the next game.

I really hope they get rid of the fishing system, fishing in selective spots is a bit weird because the whole fishing aspect is gone in a way. + I would love if the Super Rod could come back because the fishing encounter rates seem impossible to catch the Pokémon you want.

The ride pager is in my top five of best features ever. Aka who knows when I'll ever use a regional bird again

Poké Ride is such an improvement on HMs. I really hope they continue this throughout future games rather than having it just as an Alola exclusive feature.

Trials are just Gyms Outside and they're handled rather poorly on Poni Island, so overall I don't care for them too much and don't particularly want to see them return.

Honestly, because I rarely come across fishing spots I never really fish. So I kind of forget that fishing is even an option in this game. It's a shame, because chain fishing in gen 6 was great.

SOS battles make it very frustrating to catch even low-level Pokémon, and a lot of Pokémon are hidden behind very obscure conditionals that make finding and catching Pokémon rather unenjoyable. I don't like SOS battles.

The Ride Pager is great; I wish it didn't come at the expense of all overworld moves being removed (Dig, Teleport, Sweet Scent, etc.), but it's definitely a great way to handle HM progression and will hopefully be expanded upon and tweaked in the future.

I've been wanting something similar to PokeRide for years and to implement it and have it replace HMs was just genius. I feel like I genuinely prefer gyms to trials, although I prefer the Trial Captains to Gym Leaders generally, they just seem to have more character to them. I feel like PokeRide is gonna be a Alola exclusive feature though which would be such a shame :(

    (Also I hate S.O.S battles)

they took all the mechanics i hated and made them great, like the berry fields in poke pelago. Now we dont have to gimp pokes with hms. We just call poketaxis to glide us through terrain. Also, there are Just too many videos. The tapus are a bane on battle spot.
