Do you have a fear of heights? It's quite a common fear, although some people, like me, love them. XD Are you one of those people, or are you the kind of person who would rather have both feet planted firmly and safely on the ground?

I hate heights. It sketches me out. Although I am not one to scream and freeze up if I am up high.

Now, on the other hand look at this.

    Sharks are my worse fear.

I have a fear of direct heights. I'm in the mountains all the time, but the only time I get scared is on the edge of a cliff (or when Im ask to help put up or take down christmas tree lights). As longs i am more than 2 ft from the edge Im ok.

Ugh dude, I have a massive fear of heights. Hell, I can't even get on an airplane and look out the window at the world below me without starting to feel sick D:

I have a great fear of heights.
whenever i go all the way to the third floor of my school and i can see the first floor(in between the railings), i get dizzy.
But i would like to go skydiving once, just for the thrill.

It really depends, (because I'm weird like that.) If I'm in an airplane, I'm not scared at all and I feel safe, just a bit claustrophobic though. Although, when I'm on a mountain and I look down, I tend to get dizzy. o.o

Im actually not afraid of heights. when i was little i was.

It depends. Does planted down on the ground mean you are being pinned down by someone gratuitously heavy while having your face tangent to the cement?

    Heights are okay.

I'm not too afraid of heights and once I establish the fact that it isn't very likely for me to fall, everything else just falls into place.

I have kind of a interesting story. Grade 7's all went to camp at the end of the year, there happen to be a zipline like really high up. I was 5'6 last year so when I told my friends I was scared of heights they were like "Sam, your practically height!". So then I tested my heart and climbed up and when I jumped it was this amazing feeling, the countryside green blurring and the sky was a beautiful shade of blue. It felt awesome and I was really confident but know I'm back to my usual scared self :D

    I'm only scared of heights if I'm relatively unsecured. Airplanes? Fine. Tenth floor of a hotel? I can look out the window. Roller coasters? Depends on the harness and the speed. Either I'm fine or I'm scared. Climbing up stairs, even just a few flights, with holes in-between the steps? OMGGETMEDOWN;~;

I don't mind if I'm stable. In a plane, or if I'm climbing a tree with lots of places to hang on and sit down if I need to, I feel safe.

But if I don't feel safe, like if I'm climbing a wall or walking along a narrow banister over a river or something... that makes my knees go all weak.

I wouldn't say I have a fear of heights, but I also wouldn't say I like heights! I always get this feeling I will sometimes fall, but I never do! I don't know why this is caused, but I never get stomach problems up in high places or anything, so I would say no, I just dislike heights:18:

^ That. I really can't say it any better. I'm perfectly fine with heights as long as I'm secure and such. I love planes. :D

Yeah, I'm exactly the same as Sammi and BeachBoy. So long as I'm in a secure environment, I'm absolutely fine. When it came to being on the third floor of the Eiffel Tower and having to walk down because my sister's too claustrophobic for the lifts, however, I was feeling pretty nervous.

I don't think so. I don't remember having that particular fear. Heights have never been an issue with me. So my answer is no.
