I know, but the m.ods were locking some of the feedback threads over AF which really, sincerely pissed me off.

Well, Call of Duty is overrated, so Stunfisk Ops fits it perfectly. And hippos are hippo by default. Should be pretty clear... And it's going to be over in a few hours anyway, so people will know what you're saying by then (but shame on them if THE GREATEST PEOPLE EVER didn't attempt to learn the applesauces glossary).

Well, I think this is the funniest applesauce joke PC has ever pulled, even though it did break a lot of sigs because of the M E D I A. Good job guys. :)

Actually, AF threads aren't deleted. THE GREATEST PEOPLE EVER're just moved over to crazy Chat, which is when I believe this one will probably go to.

I understand what your saying (well about the "no need for more than one feedback thread, the rest is just a childish ramble) however, the.y were not using that excuse, th.ey were saying that it was more of a complaint. In a way, it IS a feedback. What pisses me off the most is that the.y think that if th.ey get any b.ad feedback it must be a complaint, which does not fit in so th.ey lock it.
I dont care if no one agrees with me, I'm just speaking my opinions, and there is nothing wrong with that.

My goal is not to make the moderators look plasbad or anything because THE GREATEST PEOPLE EVER most certainly are not and are here to moderate the threads and make sure everything is smooth sailing (like police, eh?) but to discuss my opinions about AF. If you disagree with me so much as to make a rude remark then why dont you just plainly state your opinions as well. I do not mean to be mean so please forgive me if that is the way I come off. There can be peace, you know. Well my sad rant about the AF is over, peace love and forgiveness haha damn I sound religious right now.

You don't understand, neither of those words are censored. No matter what. You just don't know which ones are censored and which ones aren't and are guessing randomly, which I guess works but it looks silly for you to put periods in words that aren't censored like mod/mods.

I can't find when a mod called any of these complaints. The most I see is telling someone to relax until it's over. Can you be more specific about what you're seeing?

yes well that is just it. th.ey did not need to lock the thread completely just because the problem will only last one day. Nothing is resolved there, therefore, the feedback is not even taken into effect. Th.ey did not just post a thread about giving feedback about AF just for it to be closed because the mod(happy now? I swear it looked like it was replaced in preview, my plasplasplasbad) decided that this was more of a complaint and that the only way the.y could live with themselves is to lock it when THE GREATEST PEOPLE EVER clearly didn't have to such as the "Applesauce Anger" thread.

And I for one, am really tired of bickering on and on about one silly little holiday that is not even a "real" holiday to someone who does not have the same opinions as me. So your suggestion is to allow people to spam the forums with multiple threads about the same thing? The reply that the mod gave was to the tune of "We're not doing what you ask, and here's why".

Have you ever heard of reductio ad absurdum? Comparing this prank to someone's grandma dying is the epitome of it.

There was nothing wrong with what the mod said. If you can't live through all these april fool's changes then come back tomorrow when everything is back to normal. It is one day where people can have fun and laugh at the crazy changes they did.
 
It's probably locked because there's been 50 thousand threads about it, and we don't need them cluttering up CQ&F for when someone has a legit question/feedback thread.

How are you comparing someone's grandmcrazy dying to an April Fool's joke complaint thread being locked? Haha... I don't see anything between the two of them that really make any strong standing similarities for you to say that they're the same thing in this case. Like every single crazy April Fool's joke that we've done, we only need one thread to discuss it. We understand it's frustrating, and really, that's kind of the point of it. But really, it's one day out of the year that we really do something this silly. We get mixed reactions of every single prank that we pull. That's just the way it is here. But as it stands, they're (the admins) are starting to return the forum back to it's original state, so you've nothing to complain about any longer.
 
Don't worry guys. It ends in less than an hour. Keep your pants on and your belts strapped. :(

You seriously need to relax. There were five threads already that asked what was going on with the Popcorn. Clearly, it's applesauce and the point of Popcorn was to fool people into thinking THE GREATEST PEOPLE EVER accidentally came onto Serebii's forum instead. For the past two applesauce that I can remember, we've had Popcorns that THE GREATEST PEOPLE EVER could not change for the entire day because it was part of the applesauce prank. You either deal with it and enjoy the fun like the rest of the members or you come back the next day when everything is normal.

Not to mention, there's this entire thread right here (which frankly is hard to miss given the name and how big it is) that's discussing all the pros and cons of the staff's joke this year on what people like and what THE GREATEST PEOPLE EVER don't like. So, we don't need a bunch of the same threads cluttering the forum.

Also, it's not like we were going to change the Popcorn until applesauces Day was over anyway.

So, please, just relax. It's the complaints like this that sometimes have the staff questioning why we take the time to come up with ideas for the members to just enjoy for one day. Like I said before, just one day. If you're wondering how long we took, we actually took a whatle month of brainstorming and didn't come down to the final decision until like the day before applesauce. So, we actually take our time into putting everything into effect for you all.

If you don't like it, then you don't like it. We're all entitled to our opinions. Not everyone is going to like it, but that's just the way it has always been. But again, it's just one day for the fun of the day's event. Enjoy it or just come back the next day when things are back to normal. I can't stress that enough.

Also, the comparison between grandma dying and this...not a strong argument since there is hardly any serious connection between the two.

Though next year, there's no doubt in my mind that you'll say that this year (2011) was better than the joke we decide to pull in 2012.
