    Let me just admit that I have an addiction to this game and I play religiously. Well, I'll try to play whenever I have the chance because I'm rarely home, and I usually hog my boyfriend's game and play on his. Currently a B rank and almost at Level 40. I usually main Squelchers, the Aerospray, and the .52 Gal Deco.

    Main reason why I'm posting this...is that Splatoon will release a final map called Ancho-V Games, which is an office setting. I've seen videos of it before and it looks cool with the spinny fans. Can't wait to try them out!

    What happened to the old thread and the Splatoon club was that nobody posted after me, since we can't purposefully double post, so it was left to die. Even though I've finally reached 50, I still play Splatoon whenever there's a Splatfest in the near future, because I've been busy playing games that have been on my backlog for a while. It's so sad that we've got our last weapon update last week and our last map update today. I guess that means we'll never have playable Octolings as the datamine implicated.
     
    Honestly I am not too hyped about playable octolings. What I was hoping for is a new story mode to play in, but I highly doubt that'll happen.

    However, I think Nintendo has a valid point in stopping updates. We already have enough Splatoon content for us to play, so there is no need for any more. We should be figuring out our strategies based on the weapons we were given (and I already have mine depending on the maps given).

    Can't wait for Ancho-V Games tonight though!
     
    I just made it to Level 16 in multiplayer. So far it's really good and I'm about halfway through the campaign mode.

    It's a breath of fresh air from a game I wasn't expecting much from...it's turning out to be one of my most played games the past couple months.
     
    I would love to play with you all again! Those times in Summer of last year were some of the most fun multiplayer gaming moments I've had. I still play, but only maybe once a week lately, due to focusing on life stuff and trying to complete other games. But I could play much more if only there were pals to play with. I'm still only level 31... I should try to increase my rank, too.
     
    ^^^I know right?? Those were good times.

    haha, I know I should be focusing on other games but then again I find myself enjoying the game more than I should be. it's just really good.

    How's everyone enjoying Ancho-V Games so far?
     
    I'm liking Ancho-V Games so far! There are a couple good places on the map where you can snipe Inklings with ranged weapons. I'll play some more later tonight after I get home from dinner.
     
    I've tried out Ancho-V Games, and I've only won once, which was my last match from that map. Every other match was countless losses due to being a 3v4 match or facing better players.
     
    Oh boy, I really want to have some people actually play with me! Most of the friends I have don't seem to have the game.
    I still haven't beaten the story mode yet. I was so close to beating the last level before the final boss, but then the gamepad was about to turn off due to it being 'on red'.....

    I did try out the new stage once, through ranked mode, and I win. im so gud at this garm

    Also, my internet really doesn't co-operative with Splatoon that well most of the time, so, if internet problems happened....

    Pleeeeeeease please add me so we can play. NNID is Axeliira, IGN is Megana :) I remember running a Splatoon chat on skype but I had to, unfortunately, leave it behind due to busy life! HOWEVER, would anyone be interested in doing Discord? It's like Skype but with less...uhh...laggy and ads. We can voice chat during our matches, yes? I'll be sure to add y'all soon! :)

    Ancho-V Games is more of a Squelcher/Gal type of tactic for me. If I'm using a Squelcher, I can easily find a sniping area and shoot opponents from afar. For Gal weapons, I can easily throw my subs (especially the .52 Gal Deco, seekers ftw!). It's also easy to hide and ambush your opponents from the walls.

    Just in case some of you missed it, and by some of you, I mean most, Nintendo of Japan put a video of the Squid Sisters concert thing, which the English Splatoon Tumblr made a post about. I don't know if people that possibly weren't invited to the event were able to record this, since the concert took place in a event by Niconico. I really don't know, since I'm not a expert at these. But I guess that kinda means that the things they use to make the holograms were also the same things they used for the Vocaloid concerts....I guess.
     
    I heard something about using a certain type of software but it's not Vocaloid, that's for sure.

    I saw a raw recording of the concert and it was freaking amazing. Nintendo of America, you better be listening to this. We need this type of stuff here!

    Anyone hyped about the new splatfest coming this weekend? It's Pokemon themed! Are you team Red or team Blue?

    I'm on Team Blue, because based on old Gen 1 mechanics, it has the superior exclusives. Ninetales can use its STAB Fire moves with its 100 special stat (the rest of the Fire-types' special stat are around 80), Persian can abuse critical hits due to its speed stat, and Victreebel is not only faster than the other Grass-types that aren't Venusaur, it can also use both STABs well with its 105 attack stat and 100 special stat. Japan's Splatfest also has their own artwork promotion:

    I love Splatoon! Unfortunately, my disc of it currently has problems. I think I need a new one...
     
    I'm sooo excited for the splatfest! I'm probably gonna pick Team Red cause I'm a sucker for Charizard or any Pokemon that resembles a dragon. Even though Blue by far had better exclusives, Red had Scyther and Vileplume which are some of my favourite Gen 1 Pokemon from a design point. I'm pretty sure Blue's gonna win cause I know a lot of people prefer the exclusives in Blue but it'll still be fun either way plus the mii verse art will probably be really cool.


    I know I'm gonna end up annoying my best mate during it cause everytime I get on a losing streak I go on a rage induced rant on how it's not just a game it's war. Then I get on a winning streak and realise it's a game primarily for kids and I calm down again until I start losing again and the cycle repeats itself. My half sister is dreading it cause she's gonna be trying to finish Undertale as I freak out at the game.
     
    Blue Team used Hydro Pump! It's super effective! Callie's win streak fainted. Smell you later, Red Team!

    As expected, Pokémon Red would have the most members, allowing Pokémon Blue to get the most victories. I'm glad Marie finally won a Splatfest since the Transformers one, which was September.
