I kinda suck at spriting. Here's my failed attempt at shadow magikarp:

Don't put yourself down! Motivate yourself! Anyway, your sprite does lack shading: you could try and use different shades of purple for example for the body. I've also noticed you have left most of the outline of the Magikarp. Hope I've helped!
 
Night:
Shading on the first one is kinda off. It looks choppy around the outsides. Maybe if you blended the tones on the mane a bit more it would look much better. The second one is great. (:
 
Made backsprite of a fakemon i made, it still needs a name >_<

He needs to be looking the other way, you know, towards the other pokemon?
Other than that it looks great! though on the front sprite his horns look a little off

Platypus Pokemon
Uses its tail to smooth the dirt behind it when travelling (that's why when a heard of Diglett charge by there isn't giant hole where they were)
