Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith

I am very excited about this movie. I have been a HUGE Star Wars fan for a long time, and this will be my favorite movie of all time. I really hope that it is really long, like LOTR: ROTK was. They better make it the longest, because it is the most important, and it is suppose to tie up every loose end left. I also found out that we will see a new lava planet, the Wookie planet, and possibly Mon Calamari. There is also suppose to be an underwater battle of some kind. I have a feeling that the end of the movie will show Obiwan escaping to Tatooine with Luke, and Bail Organa escaping to Alderann(sp?) with Leia. Also, I wonder if they will show Boba Fett in this one, and I wonder how some of the main characters die. I sure hope there is more fighting in space. There wasn't much in Episode 2, and in Episode 1,the space fighting seemed boring.

Well Star Wars : A New Hope (formally known as Star Wars) was originally meant to be the first movie. But as he developed the characters and their back story the entire story grew. Around the time Star Wars was released, Lucas had plans to make Nine movies in total. Which he later changed his mind about. Also, when movies 4-6 came out people thought that the movies were about Luke. We now know they have been about Anakin/Darth.
I had heard that originally, Star Wars was gonna be a single movie. O.o;;

Yes you are correct JKaizer, it was going to be one movie. But then GL figured out that what he had written wasn't going to be told in one movie.

Another interesting fact you might not know.. Some movies are refered to as Blockbusters (which is also now a video store). This term was coined because of Star Wars: A New Hope. The lines were so long when Star Wars came out that the lines went all the way around the block. So the term Blockbuster was coined (created).

So that's where that came from... never really wondered, but it can't hurt to know. =p

I haven't watched ANH in awhile, but as I remember the ending was left pretty open... so he could've stopped there if he wanted. =/

And then neglected introducing Yoda? =o A crime no matter how you look at it.
