6th Gen [Super]-Secret Bases!

I meant I would save it for post game haha. So, you think we could enter the QR codes more than once? I've thought about it, but that means I'm going to have to keep track of every person I gave my QR code to.

For example, if you said to me"Hey Kyle, I updated my team, scan my QR again" would this work? If so I would be very happy as it wouldn't effect my competitive play.
However the issue is minor and is that you'd both have to be on at the same time, that way you get the right team.....oh wait, I think you make your QR code. Nevermind xD. Tho I guess you'd have to be dedicated to one type, as if let's say you made a team for every type to help others, you'd have to keep track of which QR code is for whatever team.

Atleast I thought I read that you make your QR codes and then others scan it
The system makes it so yeah, others can scan it when they want. Though now that I think about the system may need new QR codes to show the update team :/

Exactly. But I think the system will be able to create new QR codes when we want it to. So it should work out. It's just if you want to save a team, you'd gave to keep track of the QR code maybe? If your QR code remains the same, this would work too, but then only certain friends can scan your QR again if you change your team. That meabs some wouof miss out on base updates too. Idk, I guess it will be explained, but it's best if I save it for post game that way I don't have to bother asking everyone to rescan my code. <---Being able to make a QR code whenever you want(by this I mean q new one) would avoid this tho. Because, what if you have the wrong team someone scans the code? You would always have to have the same team because you might never know when someone's gonna scan the code.
Maybe, just maybe they are making a new box in.the PC to avoided this? Maybe call it secret box? That would be awesome, because, when anyone scans your code it would avoid this issue, thus making updating easier.

Or maybe one can make multiple teams and a QR code for each and post them with a label next to them saying "Fairy Team", "OU Team", "Uber Team", "Dark Team", "Mix Team", ect.

I hope so. Glad someone understands my post xD.
Anyways, I hope Gamefreak has found a way to mmake it work so updating your team is easy

I don't think the QR code has anything to do with the team, but rather the base. Unless you change the location of the base, the QR code won't change. Your team can be altered freely at any time, like the rest of the game. If you mean having multiple bases across Hoenn with different themed Gyms, than yes they'd have separate QR codes, but not because the teams are different, because the bases are in different locations. Also, I don't think it's been confirmed that you can have more than one secret base at a time. I'll look into it though.

How would the personal gym system work online huh. I dont think that the QR code will work, unless you program your team to the base itself. Maybe you can battle them gym-style if he or she is online?

Also, how would the QR work if two bases are located in the same place?

I wouldn't be too sure about that. There are games where the QR code changes depending on one's group, items, progress in story, etc. I see the Secret Bases being the same. Plus teams are data which has to be reflected in the QR code somehow.

Well if your teams change freely, then someone like me couldn't have a secret base as gym like, as I'd want my team to be one type. But I'm not going to competitive battle with a mono type team so I doubt they will make it so your teams change freely, as there are lots of people who play competitively. Also, I didn't say anywhere that we'd have more than one base.

If our teams change freely, then that really sucks as having one type will be hard as you can't change your team. Unless like I said, they make like another battle box for your secret base, or use your battle box(it would still be annoying, but less so)

I saw this a few days ago in the official site:
[PokeCommunity.com] [Super]-Secret Bases!

Notice it says edit Secret Team settings.

Manage QR Code "patterns". Also you have a list of secret base this could be like Firend Safari list in X/Y.

This was one of those obvious things that I would've been so angry if they didn't implement. This makes the postgame so much more entertaining. Once I beat the game, have a ton of competitive Pokemon to battle with, what will I do? I will now be customizing my secret base! Not only that, but being able to share them makes it so much more worth it. Very excited for this, a lot of key features in this game that developed future Pokemon mechanics will be back and better than ever, the hype is real. B)

Oml thank you for showing me this. <3

What new dolls are you guys hoping to see?

I think we'll see all the dolls the DW had plus new ones for those who didn't get them in addition to Gen VI pokemon dolls. I see the starters finals and first stages each getting one (maybe the middle stages should too)

"Secret team settings" most likely means your own team. There's still no actual evidence that we'll be able to edit our friend's teams when they challenge us to a battle. :I
I think it means our team too. Or perhaps which secret pals are in our bases as the Base is called Team Secret Base in a screenshot.

So with this new feature of super secret bases, where do you all plan to place your first base? What kind of things will you decorate it with?

I'll wait until I know what type of bases we have and if we get some new ones.

I don't plan on making my Secret Base a gym on the get-go...unless I can transfer Pokemon from XY via Pokebank before obtaining the National Pokedex (or fulfilling whatever requirements let me transfer Pokemon from XY). If I can do that, then I'll transfer over six of my "competitive" Pokemon (i.e., have flawless IVs, are fully EV trained, and have a good nature/Ability/moveset) and use those in my gym. Regardless if I make a gym or not, I'll definitely decorate the Secret Base with plushes and furniture (once I get some from Fortree, anyway). When I do make a gym, I might add tiles and stuff to make a sort of gym puzzle; as for what sort of puzzle, I'm not sure yet. There seem to be plenty of new decorations, so maybe I can utilize them to make a fun puzzle!

I'd like some Shiny Pokémon dolls. I'd love a Shiny Charizard, Sceptile, Greninja and Gyarados doll for my Base! Even just for the novelty of seeing a Shiny Pokémon in 3D without owning it! (Though the only Shiny Pokémon listed that I don't have is Sceptile)
