    Does your teacher talk alot? have you ever fell asleep during one of her lectures?

    I can easily say ive been close to falling asleep. never followed through though. she talks more than any teacher should.
     
    I hate lectures...listening is the worst way for me to learn. It's not the fact that I can't keep up, because I know I can. It's just that my brain doesn't respond to oral instructions as quickly as it should. I am more suited to visual aids, or just writing the notes on the board, I learn best that way.

    The best way to put this is...if I'm not taking notes, I'm pretty sure I'd be pre-occupied with something else...

    I don't fall asleap. xD Most of the time I pay attention, but if it THAT boring... My thoughts will wander off... xD
     
    Nope... I mean.. there have been times when they give us a whole class for doing anything we want... so when there's nothing to do... soemtimes we sleep XD. But... actually... in lectures... nope... I never fall asleep... of course if goes like too long... I would be bored... then my mind starts to imagine soemthing and then if the teacher asks me something I would say... "sorry teacher... but your lecture was so boring.. ALL OF US started to sleep" XD yeah... I can blame me and my classmates! and then... if it truly lasts all day... BED-TI... I mean... DESK-TIME!!! XD... yea... we fall asleep like if we were an experiment with some what drug XD!!
     
    almost all of my teachers lecture the whole periods long. i don't mind so much as most of my classes are fairly interesting (that's why i signed up for them...) but sometimes they get a bit dull... i've never fallen asleep though. i have been pretty tired before though.
     
    I often do get bored during lectures and when I do, I end up not listening for most of the time. But, I have never fallen asleep during class while a teacher is lecturing us something.
     
    Last year I had a teacher who totally ate people alive with lectures after they turned things in late.. Thank gawd I'm organized. XD
     
    My teacher is a complete chatterbox. Everyday he always rants about how our class is just..bad XD I've fallen asleep several times during his long lectures, once he slapped a couple of rulers on the table just to wake me up, then he says 'You've got a detention. 3:00, 15 minutes' ...after he started talking again..I went back to sleep x.X and got more time added to my detention.

    My teacher is just a plain meanie D<
     
    Haha XD I was *holds up a grain of rice* that close to fall asleep on Math class xD

    Otherwise, I fell asleep on Language Arts and Spanish cuz they talk about useless things XD 8D; I wake up when the teachers say something in a different note like "TEST!!!! OMG TEST!!!" And I put my head straight up high again XD;
    I fell asleep on Enrichment once (it's like reading time--except there was a list of boring books you can read.. Sleep XD; ) I didn't woke up till I was late for my worst subject Dx;;
     
    I never fall asleep in class if I'm taking one of the classes lead by one of the perverted trio.
     
    Erm, Im a devil inside of the classroom ^_^
    I may be an A student as well, but still, I do devilish things in boring lessons or when im bored. I never get really caught though!
    And yes, Ive come to fall asleep while in Geography class, our teacher there has a sleepy voice like she's trying to make us sleep!
     
    I try to stay at least somewhat engaged in what I'm listening to, otherwise I gain nothing from it. It's far easier to forsake sleep and pay attention than to pay for it later. I don't succeed in school because I'm a particularly-good student, only because everyone else is apathetic.
     
    whenever my teacher is talking too much, i tend to think about PC, or Mortal Kombat. i liked my old 4th grade teacher because when she would talk it would be about fun things. not boring things. like math review. oh and thats all my new teacher ever does is review about what we just did. we spend weeks on one math problem! my 4th grade teacher would hand us word puzzles and stuff when were done. XD in 4th grade all of our specials were on one day, the same day as my fav show, Smackdown, so thursday was my favorite day. she wouldnt make us do any work at all!

    Ive rambled on to off-topic-ness. sorry about that. you can obviously see i liked the fourth grade. XD
     
    I usually er...try to come up with new number relations in the back of my notebook when things just get too boring ^^;
     
    Oh God! Tch, I have a romanian an' a french teacher who can't get enough of their own st00pid speeches.

    Tch, were they not be useful for makin' time pass faster without 'em actually teachin' anything I'd probably start cleanin' tha blackboard with their ugly mugs until it's all of a nice an' uniform red. ^_^
     
    I have a history teacher who likes to talk about random things that has nothing to do with history for the entire lesson (most of the time), for example she once talked about world currencys and stuff for a while lesson o.o
    I fall asleep in her lessons all the time even when she finally sets us some work :\
     
    I don't see how people can sleep in class. o_o I mean, the desks are so uncomfy and just...I dunno. I've never fallen asleep in school before, so I just can't imagine how one would. Anyway, that said, I don't sleep, but I do daydream a lot in class. Most especially when listening to teachers who won't shut up. o_o Like Eva, I just think of other things if they go on too long. Not very good for my grades, I suppose, but I just can't seem to concentrate. <_<
