Team Rocket ... Are In Alola?

I really don't want to go hunting down team rocket members if that is the post game. Give them a real reason to be there. Have them target a legendary. All the other games team rocket was in, they were all useless and made the story terrible.

chasing after legndary=/=good story.
if so that would make Team flare a magnum opus of evil team. But nope! ( don't tell me you actually liked team flare.)

Actually i do like Team Flare. They are superior to team rocket. They actually went after xerneas and yveltal. They brought them to their base.

1. they did not bring them to their base- they brought "cocooned" form into the base- and it broke easily once Xerneas or Yvetal woke up- so weaker than team galatic who managed to controll them in their pure form.
2. Their story line was just too similar to team galatic.

Actually they did bring them into their base. They brought them in their cocoon/tree state but it still counts as bring them in. The story line was not similar to Galactic. Cyrus wanted to create a new universe. Lysandre wanted a beautiful world.

I think if one of the Plasma bosses appear if will be Ghetsis as he was the Leader of Plasma and the final boss of Black/White. He is also for me the most evil character in the series. You may fight a version of his Unova team which likely comes with a boosted Hydreigon.

N may still make an appearance though possibly helping you against Ghetsis or appearing in the Battle Tree. If he appears in the Battle Tree he will likely have a different team to his Unova team as outside his Legendary Dragon (Which are banned in the Battle Tree) his team is not great.

not really Lysandre wanted to kill off anyone who isn't team flare by basically nuking the world and keeping only team flare safe... kinda similar to what Team Galatic wanted- destroy this universe except team galactic and created a new universe.

Lysandre wanted to ensure that resources in the world was not used up. Cyrus wanted a universe free of emotions. Destruction maybe similar but the one that cyrus attempted was bigger. They still had different motives.

Anyway i want a decent postgame with team rocket otherwise they are still the worse team.

If this Rainbow Rocket thing goes through, that medieval jerkwad is going to rue the day he stepped foot in Alola once I unleash Primarina's STAB Moonblast on that nightmare dragon of his.
 
I hope TR actually has a valid reason to be in Alola..
I dont want it to be forced just for the sake of the 20th ann
 
I'm with JaneJane's concern. I want Team Rocket's appearance to be something worthy, and not forced in for the sake of Kanto pandering which S/M had already thrown into our faces enough.
 
All these complaints about Gen I pandering because of Team Rocket's return makes these modern fans just as bad as genwunners. We don't want this fanbase to become worse than the Sonic fanbase, Zelda fanbase, Minecraft fanbase, FNAF fanbase, Fire Emblem fanbase, Bendy Fanbase, Metroid fanbase, Final Fantasy fanbase, and Smash fanbase (at least the Cuphead fanbase is doing fine for now).

Dude. Every fandom has it's good and bad side to it. Making huge generalizations such as this fandom is x....won't help anything. The best you can do is just carry on and like what you like. There's always been people in fandoms who've done bad things. This is nothing new.

I actually want TR to make a nice comeback but the opinions of everyone here are still valid. There has been a lot of pandering to Kanto. Gamefreak even admits it. I think it's just people don't just want cameos of TR. They should have a decent reason to be in Alola other than fanaservice. (At least to me)

Incorrect. People have every right to complain. We had Kanto appearing 4 gens in row, we had constant references throughout the games, Kalos had quite of Kanto references and things, RBY on virtual console, GS on virtual console would have kanto post game, kanto pokemon getting alola forms, only gen 1 in SM got exclusive z moves, etc.

So fans complaining is reasonable. There are other regions to make references and so on. Kanto maybe the first region to ever be made but having it shoved in our faces eventually annoys us.

So we have every right to complain. It does not make us as bad as those who love kanto too much. We simply want GF to cut down on the Kanto pandering. Let some of the others shine a bit.

Still, please don't taint Team Rocket by making them chase any legendary. Don't make them become another team of misled buffoons, please. I suppose Mewtwo would be fine to chase, though, since Team Rocket did create it. xD

Perhaps they will have Mewtwo on hand from the start (their plan could've succeeded due to it never going wild (of course they'll first need to confirm once and for all that TR did indeed create it in the games)), so there'll be no need to chase one :3 :).

I think TRR's goal would be to take over the multi-verse...

Incorrect. Game Freak shouldn't give two pokeballs about their fanbase mostly with the concern troll types, who pretty much destroy companies who do listen to them.

Let Game Freak put whatever they want on their game.
