Not a fanfic I would recommend for the squeamish though, since it can be...brutally graphic sometimes

Spoiler:

Which I find refreshing after the cheerfulness of countless mlp fics

It's called Angelic Shadows, by WiseAbsol, you can find it on Fanfiction.net

Wait, it contains mature content?

Now I'm actually interested in this.

Heh, like you wouldn't believe...

I am not responsible for any mental damage that may result from reading the previously mentioned fanfic

The author gives warnings at the start of the chapter

Enjoy, I hope you come away wiser for it, but since you're under the age of 18, I doubt that very much

...and another innocent child corrupted!

It's probably no worse then the stuff I make. (Which... Does leave a very high standard. Minus the sexual content mentioned anyway.)

Of course, I'm probably very wrong.

Insanity, or stupidity. Possibly both.

I would have to be crazy to do shit like that for anyone.

Even myself.

I've always found it interesting that people find the revelation of the feeling and meaning of love in those whom they are romantically inclined.

I've always embraced the concept of love in a way outside of being in love with a person- it's a strong emotion regardless, and if you truly love something (which is a very hazy subject), you're going to do a lot for it. Or you'll wish to, at the very least.

As Henry David Thoreau said:
"In beauty we see it, in music we hear it, in fragrance we scent it, in the palatable the pure palate tastes it, and in rare health the whole body feels it. The variety is in the surface or manifestation; but the radical identity we fail to express."
If you want to read his whole pamphlet on love. Here.

Don't worry, Orph

In three/four years, you'll understand

When I was your age, love confused me too; took me four girlfriends to get it right

One moved away, one was more platonic, one dumped me without telling me and the last is already married, but we make it work

Heck, we're married in all but name and I love both of them more than anything

You're awfully experienced.

It's different for everyone

No two relationships are the same; even if people went through the same things I did, they'd still have different reactions and outcomes

Ironically, offline I'm terribly introverted

Heck, it's practically split-personality

Offline: quiet, meek, submissive, polite

Online: loud, outgoing, dominant, even more polite with a healthy dose of sarcasm that makes me seem like a complete...well...female canine in heat, to put it politely
I feel terrible when I make someone upset or angry at me; I like making friends

I might also be a little cynical/hypocritical at times, but I'm mostly harmless
