It's interesting how this works. From what I've seen, Moderators don't really get to change anything outside of their own sections, and it's not until you're an Administrator that you get to make site-wide changes like vBulletin tweaks and optimizations. Since it's obviously difficult to get elected into PC's top brass, it would be hard to get a position of technical responsibility purely by virtue of technical expertise due to PC's management model.
I dunno, I feel as if there could be exceptional cases of those not on the higher staff or whathaveyou and deal with the technical stuff should the intent be clear.
It just doesn't really happen so there's no set structure for non-staff technical assistants.
Which is what I was saying. PC's model would make it difficult to provide someone an exception. The only solution, really, seems to be getting there the normal way.
You could always bring it up. They'd pretty much have to listen and, really, there's pretty much only 1 other person on the forum that's actually vocally critical of PC on a technical level.
