    I hate that movie on principle because I see a commercial for it at least 20 times a day, not even exaggerating. It is over the top.

    I've never read the book. I'm kind of against this weird sickness porn on principle because it always seems to make sickness look romantic. Having cancer is not running around with perfectly clean hair and sparkling eyes and teaching people how to love again. It's painful, exhausting, leaves large, ugly marks on your skin, sometimes leaves you unable to bathe, etc. But no one wants to see that so instead we get cancer patients that look perfect up until the last minute when they slip away quietly in their sleep.

    Like I said, I haven't read the book, but from the 5 million commercials I've seen, never once did either character look less than perfect, so I'm not really willing to spend the money trying to see if sickness is portrayed accurately.

    Are we getting closer to infinity, farther, or neither increasing nor decreasing the distance between it?

    For all we know, the mods here on PC could be in league with the government making us think that we'd never reach infinity, but in reality it is possible we passed it long ago.
