    Did you ever get all the Silver Symbols in the BF? What about the Gold ones? Was it easy/difficult/impossible/etc? Or did you never even bother?

    I managed to get all the silver symbols in Emerald! I never got any gold ones, though. I remember the hardest one for me was the Pyramid and the Dome, actually. I could not for the life of me get past Tucker - it took probably a million tries haha. ;~; What about you?
     
    I've never managed to get any symbols, except the one from Lucy. She was pretty tough to beat, though; her Pokémon were very difficult to get through, especially Milotic. I loved Battle Frontier, though, and would come here and run around whenever I could just for the fun of it. n_n;;
     
    My first time owning Emerald, back in 2005, I got all seven Silver Symbols and one of the Gold Symbols, I think it was the Battle Pyramid. I lost that game late in the year though. =(

    In the Emerald I have now, I only got one Silver Symbol so far, and that's I think from the Battle Pyramid. Kinda stopped caring for it after Platinum came out.
     
    I managed to obtain all of the Silver symbols except for the Battle Factory (I was absolutely terrible with rental Pokemon) and the Gold symbols for the Dome, Pike and Pyramid. The Pike symbol was very easy, but it took a few re-tries to finally snag the gold symbol for the Pyramid; I owe it all to the Sacred Ash that I found on the 7th floor :p
     
    I didn't get any at all that I remember since most of the Pokemon I had were past the level requirement. Don't think levels scaled then and that certainly wasn't fun.

    Did love the Battle Factory - rentals were super fun. Always have a blast using Pokemon that aren't mine since it spices things up and doesn't require me to make my own teams. ;P Never did obtain a medal though. :(

    I don't think they did either - I went through my old RSE games and on both of my Emeralds I found a box labeled "BATTLE" with only lv50 Pokémon, so I'm assuming I set those ones aside since those were the only ones I could use.

    Yeah, the Battle Factory is definitely really hard. I tried it the other day and I couldn't get past 7 trainers haha. No idea how I did it when I was a kid. Maybe I've lost all my skill ;(
     
    I went only for the Battle Dome. I EV trained my pokes, but it was still so hard.

    My team went from

    Flygon
    Milotic
    Arcanine

    to

    Metagross
    Ludicolo
    Sableye (for no type weakness)

    AND I still can't get him!!! >_<

    I'm gonna try the Battle Arena next. I guess it's a lot easier than the dome.

    How did you do with the BDome? I really need help now. I have EV Training requirements (PKRS and Mbrace) I just need the right pokemon. Any suggestions?

    It took me forever, but I eventually got all of the Silver Symbols. Not a simple task, and if I remember correctly, I spent an entire Sunday trying to conquer one of the Brains. Back then, I wasn't what you would call a competitive battling master, so basic strategies and move sets escaped my realm of knowledge. With time, I managed to defeat the Frontier's challenges without previous intellect. The Battle Frontier of Hoenn is my favorite post-game to date, especially renting Pokemon. So many fond memories playing through the different buildings and failing miserably, haha. n__n

    A Latios that knows Surf and Ice Beam would help a lot against Charizard and Salamence. Keep Ludicolo so Swampert is much easier to deal with. What to have in the third slot is completely up to you; I had a Metagross with high attack and defense.

    I didn't really know anything about EV training until I started playing HG/SS, but every one of my Battle Frontier Pokemon had a nature that complemented their strong stats (ie. Modest/Mild Salamence, Brave Metagross etc.)
     
    I could only EVER get Lucy's Symbol. Every now and then I could beat Roland, but beyond those two lol no. The Frontier was fun as all get out, but way too hard to beat.

    The Battle Dome was always fun because it made me feel so cocky and grand.

    And remember guys, this isn't a Help My Team thread, so keep it on the subject of the Frontier, not your teams.
