Energy Ball is for Swampert.
 
Man, Energy Ball is kind of a waste since it only hits one pokemon outta the many possible.

And if Gengar gets WoW, then theres no need cuz Swampert can't attack no more.

I see your point, but some people love to run Mixpert.

Or we can just make Gengar Choice Specs or something , with something along the line of

Gengar@Choice Specs
Timid Nature
252 S.ATT 252 SPEED 6 HP
- Shadow Ball
- Energy Ball
- Focus Blast/Hidden power Ice
- Thunderbolt

Edit: I think we also still lack water moves.

Yeah but ice moves wont really phaze Tyranitar and the like. I also dont thing Ice moves will even OHKO Ryperior.


Do you think Specs Mence could at all fit in here, i know you get locked into one move, but we already have a back up special sweeper in HP Ice Jolteon.



We also Lack a Physical wall i believe Dusknoir would do and it also Blocks Rapid Spin and Stuff.
 
Jolteon can be a special sweeper o.o It has higher speed and XDD same Special Attack stat. Its better.

I didn't say Water moves aren't necessary, I said it doesn't offer much coverage.
 
We have discussed:

Donphan
Bronzong
Blissey
Jolteon

We need a strong and potent special sweeper. Both Milotic and Starmie fill these roles quite well. Water hits a lot of types for neutral damage at least. Water does more damage on the common Metagross and Bronzong then Ice.

The reason I want another Pokemon other then Jolteon with a storng Ice move is because Jolteon is our lead Pokemon and will be in harms way. If Jolteon is knocked out we will be in deep trouble. Ice shard is great but it is for only taking out weakened Pokemon.

We already have physical walls so I do not know why people are suggesting some. Bronzong is our main wall with Donphan as support backup. Blissey sponges alone fine.

What we really need now are sweepers. We have the walling and lead department set up.

Yes, we need Sweepers. Gengar is a sweeper. I would like to remind everyone here that Starmies special attack max is the same Gastlys. Ad Abras is about 20 higher. It has a great movepool, but not enough power for me. Good special sweepers with Ice Beam would be Porygon-Z more, but Gengar is a good possibilty here.

Helps get rid of Tyranitar AND Milotic (if it's not a sleep talker). I'd suggest making it have a timid nature so that it can compete with Salamence. Grass Knot is a killer to anything heavy, HP ice to get rid of the oh-so-common-Salamence/Garchomp and Energy Ball for a STAB move.
 
Um, Grass Knot also is a STAB. So either get rid of Energy Ball, or lose Grass Knot.
