Is there anyway to make a mixed Tangrowth? I suppose, but I'm saying we could switch out for the occasional sandstream, besides this team needs more special attack.

That would be rather difficult to do, just because then the evs would become a problem, and then we lack a physical wall.

Yeah i agree with you we do need a special attacker.

So far we have Jolteon, Donphan, Bronzong, Blissey. Now for Speical we could use Tangrowth, or Starmie, maybe Gardevoir to add more special defense, Togekiss. I like the idea of Togekiss.

Well first i was never planning Sunny Day, and Starmie's in question, so i believe was Porygon-Z as a boltbeamer. And Sims is just viewing, why won't he say anything?

Maybe he went to the bathroom. And Porygon-Z or Starmie sounds good. Boltbeamer would add a good purpose. Paraflinching Togekiss could do some damage. I prefer Togekiss personally. So Paraflincher or Boltbeamer?

Honestly I'm not sold on any of them. I think we need something that hasn't been brought up. What about Kingdra, only weak to Dragon, can learn Ice Beam, Surf and other moves. And it has two useful abilities.

Hmm Kingdra (with sniper) and Togekiss as a double battle team. Ouch that could hurt, especially in the battle tower where Hax items are alound :evil laugh:

Then you can have mock boltbeamers (using HP, or discharge/charge beam etc)

We do need a special sweeper and a physical wall. If we ARE going Bolt-Beamer, Starmie would be helpfull with Rapid Spin aid. Filling all positions including SRer and Rapid Spinner are important. So with Donphan, Starmie makes an excelent additon in my view, and it levels out types. Now a physical wall we could always go for something like Steelix would fit in well.

But why do we need to Rapid Spinners, Donphan would be more suited to Rapid Spin, because then we don't have to make Starmie more bulky, therefore making it a pure sweeper

I forgot about Donphan learning Rapid Spin XD. I know Im smart. I still find Starmies max special stats kind of disturbing though. Its the same as Gastlys max special attack stat. And Abras is higher. So is Tangrowth, the list goes on. Porygon-Z is overall a little better now that I review.

Gengar could be nice then, a special sweeper and rapid spin blocker, not to mention he is immune to EQ as well.

He is perfect if we aren;t looking at boltbeamers and just beamers. Gengar is one of my personal favorites.

Haven't we got HP Ice on Jolteon, and Ice Shard on Donphan... how big a threat are Dragons anyway

If we can get a physichal wall with Ice Beam and decent Special Attack then we're home free. Like OMASTAR! He's my favorite, except everyone hates him sooooo, well I couldn't find any but Omastar is good!

Well i believe we're using Bronzong as a physical wall so we can stop that debate. i brought up Gengar, but it got overshadowed by the amazing Donphan.
I'm not sure if Swift Swim Kingdra is better for us. Who on our team is going to know Raind Dance? Or have that ability? No one. It's not really designated for special Sweeping and i'm not suggesting it, but defense is supposed to win championishs right. Finally we're in more need of water moves than anything else. Water hits almost everything, we need it.

And remember Chatot this isn't about favourites its about being the best. (or you'd here Dragonite, Feraligatr Steelix every post from me;))

I think we should use his special stat more, physichal isnt bad, but special has its merit. And Im thinking for a the best set would be

Tangrowth-Leftovers
252 Defense, 152 HP, rest Special Attacck
Bold-Leaf Guard
Stun Spore
Leech Seed
Giga Drain/Hidden Power Water,Ice
Sunny Day

Well we do know about that but its already been said that Sandstream ruins that moveset.
