Ok, all lame thread titles aside, Now that PC supporters are pretty much easy to spot and tend to be the 'in' thing to be, how do you feel about the supporters as a group?

Are we cool and easy to get along with? Warm and Welcoming? Snobby and aloof? Cliquey? Share your stories and experiences as a supporter! Especially any stories about how people perceive us as a group.

What would you like to see supporters get to be known for?

When I was a supporter, I always hated to think of myself as any different from the other members. I donated some money to help the forums, it doesn't really make me special.

When I became a mod, I asked to get my supporter badge removed because, well, I never liked the design and colour.

Heh. I don't blame ya, but the badge and colored name don't bother me or make me feel any different. It doesn't as a supporter, and never will even if I ever did attain a higher rank.

But yeah, not even a moderator badge is all that special. (It's just extra work nee?~)

Y'all are whack, yo! You be trippin', even!

I don't feel any better or worse than the other users on here but I do like the feeling that I contributed to keeping this place around.

    Desu ne.

Being a mod means that if anyone makes a post worthy of eradication, you don't have to wait for a mod to get there - by the time you reach that thread, a mod has got there by definition :P

Even before I became a supporter and well after I donated, I just want to help the site out anyway I can. Whether it be by money, or by posting some useful information.

If anything, newbies tend to look at my colored name and assume that I'm a moderator. I've gotten a couple of PMs from people asking moderator-like questions. >_<

I've been a supporter for so long, I daresay I might have changed at first, but now I don't consider myself any different than any other member here. I do have to say, seeing my name without italics is slightly discomforting to me. I guess I just got used to it after all this time.

Hahahaha! I agree with that. I'd probably be upset if I logged in to find my name missing it's italicized goodness. D8
Not because it has any special meaning, it just grows on ya to the point that not having it makes things seem abnormal. xD

Mate, you have something brown on your nose.

I have gotten people asking me moderator-like-questions too. -___-"

I actually hate being a supporter but I love my PC blog. (b n n)b

If I could i'd get rid of it [but i love my blog ;n; bloggy is my best friend yo]

I hate the way supporters are seen and how they act on this forum, it's despicable really.

We're not a clique, we're nothing more than members with extra cash and yet some of us act like we're ~all that~ and a slice of toast.

    [/combo broken]

I agree. I don't want the supporters to be a clique that rudely excludes anyone who isn't a supporter. I'd rather we be seen as a pretty friendly, kind, and helpful bunch. You know, the kind of people that newbies aren't afraid to get to know?

I wish I was all that and a slice of toast.

Why would new people be afraid to get to know us? Blue is such a welcoming colour.

We the supporters should be pink not blue, or at least purple, because then members can`t possibly mix us up, but my opinion does not matter to most members here, i dont know why, and what i mean is this will be ignored and not ever looked over more than likely, as blue has been the original supporter color for years!!
