I might just get involved with PE2K for this "project" you guys are making. At most, I can battle on Shoddy.
I just want everybody to make up their minds already. >.<
First we have NoS coming "back" to reclaim ownership, then she vanishes and everybody starts breaking apart into their own clans. Then it turns out a few of them were unapproved, so we have even more clans showing up. Now, the original Clan might be revived, but BeachBoy has yet to post up the v5 thread and World King's "New Clan" is flourishing in the meantime.
So, are we reforming the original Clan or are we all breaking into new, different clans? Which is it??
i TOWA, in charge of the currently fastest growing clan on PC, am prepared to help the clan get back on its track, the cost? form an alliance with us, this is so clans help each other out, and in the instance that a super clan war happens, we have our allies, beachboy if you are interested pm or message me :]
I'm wondering how long his "New Clan" will last.
Regardless, I'd love to rejoin if Beach Boy was made leader. But I just can't join this new clan. As said before in the old clan, he's still a new member, and isn't heard of much at all. NoS asked me to step up in her absence, (without me having to ask, unlike the former) and I tried, but college life eats up my time. So I left it to sharinganflames, but he left. So, we are in current dissarry at this situation.
Exactly. There were originally two clans at the start-Thce "Clan", & Ist-Ita-, I can't pronounce it. Still, many immitators came. Some stuck for a while, without being a complete ripoff, like Legion of Supremacy.
On another note, and this has been bugging me for a while, all the people glamoring over Celsial okami. I'd like to say something on that.
So to all those people wanting him to "reclaim the throne", he was never the original leader of the clan! He was NoS's friend, and stepped it to help out, becoming a temp leader. He has stated this numerous times, and constantly tried to make that clear. He had every intention of handing control back to NoS when she returned. I'm not saying he wasn't a good leader, that he was, but he was not this clan's leader. Thusfore, everyone needs to stop baaaawing for his return. As greast of a leader he was, he isn't comming back, and if he does, it's with NoS's consent, He won't rise up to "take back control", as control was never originally his. The original members only recognizes one leader-Nightofshadow. Ask Murderface, he was here before me. I practically went inactive when Ooka & Loto became leaders. Frankly, I never heard of Loto until recently, and as for Ooka, he wasz still relatively new to the clan. Not that they would be bad leaders, mind you, I'm part of Ooka's clan, although I forgot the name :P. Still, he was new to the clan, and CELES made him leader, not NoS. She is the one true leader, although there were many great temps.
That said, I'd love to see how Beach Boy will do, he has my full support, although if NoS ever came back, she;ll regain control.
I slightly disagree on this one sims. Nos may be the original leader, but from what I've seen she's somewhat of a flake. I don't think we should just hand it back over to her on a silver platter. She seems to return for a week and then disappear again, which has just caused further problems for the clan. If she truely cared about the clan and wanted to be its leader she would have remained active. It's obvious to me by her actions that she dpesn't really care about the clan. If she did care we wouldn't be in this situation to begin with! Okaim may have only been a temp leader but from what Ive seen he cares much more for the clan than NoS did. You say that the original members of the clan will only recognize one person as their leader, NoS. the same can be said for the vast majority of the clan who had joined under the reign of Okami. NoS has yet to prove her dedication and leadership to me. Okami and several others; Ooka, Loto, Sabaku no Gaara, Tortured_Soul, even you sims; have proven time and again to me that they truely cared about what happens to this clan. All of them have made great contributions to this clan and made it what it is today. NoS started the clan, but we are what made the clan glorious in her absence.Exactly. Just thought I'd put my two cents in on the matter, for we need more than one perspective.

I also doubt that just giving control instantly to Nightofshadow whenever she shows up is a good idea. After all, look at the recent situation: she came back and reassumed control, then became drastically less active and, as a result, the Clan broke apart. Maybe there could be a co-leader slot reserved for her, but giving somebody who has already "ditched" the Clan once full leadership on sight? I have to vote against that.
Sims said:I understand where you are comming from, comepletely. I really do, and it is a very solid point.
However, no matter how we look at it, as long as we use this name, it is her clan. That must be respected, as if it wasn't for her, there would be no clan. If we felt like this, we could have made our own clan, comepletley witha chosen name. Even BeachBoy as the leader is slightly disrespectful. Slightly. Hell, if she came in and told people to stop using "The Clan", we would have to respect that. If anything, a spot mentioning her as founder of the clan is in order.

And if it wasn't for her disappearing, the Clan would likely still be together.
I believe that's exactly what Mike Ukiuki and Sabaku no Gaara attempted. However, as BeachBoy has pointed out, it created an "onslaught" of new groups showing up.
And NoS' vanishing right after reclaiming control of the Clan was not disrespectful to its members?
As I said, giving her an automatic "co-leader" spot would work. I just do not see how handing full control back over to her at the tip of a hat is beneficial to anyone.

Then it should be closed, then. We haven't the right to say "you made it, but your not good enough, shove off.

That's because those new groups didn't have what it takes to last. Gaara made a pretty good group, & Legion of Supremacy stayed for quite a while. And besides, this isn't the first clan ever made. Just the longest lasting. Don't use the failed clans, as most of those starters weren't even in this group. Those groups weren't made exactly as the clan was. It drew together great battlers, who helped make this clan what it was. We kept it alive, yes. But she made it to begin with, gave us it's ideals.
I'm getting too melodramatic over nonsense, excuse me.
And NoS' vanishing right after reclaiming control of the Clan was not disrespectful to its members?
First, do you know her situation? Well, that's irrelevant, as of now. If that was the case, if that is how you felt, you should have left, as others have. Even if she has proven she isn't up to leading, this is HER clan, no matter how we spin it, no matter if she isn't most active. Is that right? Maybe not. Most likely not. But still hers.
As I said, giving her an automatic "co-leader" spot would work. I just do not see how handing full control back over to her at the tip of a hat is beneficial to anyone. I really see where you are coming from, but we are, quite literally, bound, because she owns this clan, it's name, etc.
