I got 5 shinies in my main/first playthrough of Violet, before finishing the game or the Dex, and another one shortly after.

My first was a Yungoos hiding in a pack of them on the way to my first gym, followed by a golden Lokix near the Psychic gym. While exploring Glaseado Mountain I found a shiny Sneasel and Snover within 15 minutes of each other.
5th was a shiny Golduck in Area Zero.

And the 6th was a second shiny Golduck while running around doing Tera Dens. =\

Are those Paradox Pokémons legendaries? Or they are like Ultra-Beasts, "Pokémons from another dimension that happen to be overpowered"?

They're basically Ultra Beasts. But you can catch them in the wild.

I actually did not find a single shiny in my first playthrough. But in my second I so far found four: Hoppip, Lechonk, Dunsparse and I forgot the fourth one ^^"

I'd actually like to find a shiny future paradox Pokemon. I do like the monochrome designs.

A shiny Iron Bundle would be dope.
Aside from it and Iron Valiant I kinda don't really care much for the future Paradoxes.
They all look like they should be part Steel type too

Also I can only wonder how many shiny tiny Pokemon I've passed by.
Like Flabebe & Floette are so tiny you need to get pretty close to them to even be able to see if it's a shiny or not, given that their flower doesn't change color.
 
Wow 5 in one playthrough sometimes u get lucky like that i remember once on Sapphire i found 3 random shinies in 3 days 😅

(Except that red Gyarados from GS/HGSS)

I filtered out legendary Pokémons in my fangame, and as Ultra-Beasts seem so powerful, I basically filtered them out as well (and I thought they were legendaries too lol). I'll also filter out Paradox Pokémons in my update, because they are too powerful ^^"

I like Iron Moth, too. And I like the Godzilla reference they were going for with Iron Thorns. Well, it would have probably been better as a past paradox. On the other hand I really like the detail that they took version exclusives, created paradox versions of them and then put them into the version that didn't have the originals (Flutter Mane and Roaring Moon as replacements for Misdreavus and Salamence and Iron Jugulis and Iron Thorns for Hydreigon and Tyranitar respectively).

I also thing that the future versions lacking the Steel type just perfectly plays into the "paradox" part, as well (except Iron Treats). I guess you could say something similar with the past versions and the Rock type.
 
I agree with Megan. It was pretty cool to see that we describe it as machines but they actually aren't because we in the present would consider them machines, but in the future they're just normal. I prefer Future paradoxes to the others. I just wish they were more. Despite the fact that there's a high chance we might get more with DLCs, I think that from the start they could have been more. Area 0 is even pretty big, so there was indeed space for some others!

I'm currently shiny breeding and not really paying much attention to other things =P

I think a split DLC for Scarlet/Violet where Violet players get to visit an area in the future and Scarlet players get to visit an area in the past would be cool.
Though it probably wouldn't work well with the current story =P

I do, but official Nintendo stuff never really pops up in my recommended on youtube.
Instead it usually recommends stuff like 'We hatched 6 shiny Pokemon and fight it out' or 'We can only catch Grass types and then we fight' for Pokemon stuff.
I also don't pay much attention to whatever is on as I shiny breed as it's just white noise to make things less boring anyway =P

I think there are theories about paradox Pokemon potentially not being from the past/future. Instead there seems to be another Pokemon involved that created them. Given that that's kinda the route GF has been going since gen 7 (the "third" Pokemon being very important) I wouldn't be surprised if the DLC went that route, as well.

oh i have heard of that, like a RPG Maker type thing. though i cant remember if u can add ur own fakemon. ur game sounds interesting its like a pokemon stadium type thing? will see if i can try it out today 😄

I think it could be quite a twist, so I wouldn't mind that lol. However, I don't really think Game Freak likes to re-explore the original plot and add more things in the DLC, but I could totally be wrong. It's only the second real DLC they make, after all.
