The Count To Infinity - v12

I will then finalize the concept and title, and will throw the game in the pot. Only the time will tell whether it gets cooked or burned !!

Some Pokemon ROM hacks are very good, considering that most of them are based on extinct GBA. Due to which people modify the entire content of base game like Fire Red and Emerald, and remake the entire region, storyline, wild spawns, etc. which provides a new experience for which one is not needed to pay, and can be easily played on all PCs and smartphones, even if they are old.

Some are enhancement hacks, like Renegade Platinum, which makes battles harder, and AI smarter. So people also enjoy playing them, instead of nuzlocking themselves. And I want to mention that these enhancement hacks does not modify Pokemon and/or storyline, but change wild spawns, AI smartness, and level caps among other similar things.

I've made so many threads in the past that didn't have a single reply. ^^"

I think I wouldn't make some of those threads anymore nowadays, though. But I also don't really have a lot of topics I could make a post of. And the few ideas I might have may just require too much to think about. :(

I don't know what morality means lol

243 875.

Think of it this way:

I go into a store and steal some cookies from the bakery. That's bad morals. Or bad morality. It's what people consider right and wrong. Or I go donate to a cancer charity. That would be considered good by people. So it's good morality.

The question of that thread was:

Do people look at others and assume 'good person' or 'bad person'? Do we judge others on how they look before we know how they act?

@Meganium I seem to have terrible luck with my threads in Entertainment and Media. I'm not sure why. It's definitely the section that my threads most often get ignored. I'll go give your thread a post however so it doesn't stay completely zero'ed.

Emulators for old generations like GBA and DS are very lightweight, and they run smoothly on this 10-12 years old Laptop without any hassles. And another thing is that all of the expired Pokemon games are available for free on internet, hence if someone had missed the prior generations, or don't have consoles, then that person could easily play out those games without any troubles. I also played all the Pokemon games up till Gen-VII in this way, because I came into Pokemon in 2013-14 if I am correct, hence at that time I didn't even knew anything about Pokemon mechanics, let alone the consoles and as such.

Without emulators I would have never experienced so many games. Be that because I could never afford them or because they were never released in my country (happened a lot with SNES games in particular).

Unfortunately, most people will judge someone on their looks first and then need convincing through those people's actions. I think one of the the most excrutiating examples here is that we consider people who look attractive to be very successful. So, people are more willing to give them more opportunities. Which means they'll become more successful. <_<

I used an example I find amusing about this. With how European and American art often portray Jesus Christ to look like them instead of a middle eastern. He's supposed to be the incarnation of ultimate of goodness. "Let's make him look like us"!

The meme was called 'Jesus of New Jersey'.

@Lavender The Bible does describe Christ in Revelations 2:18. "These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze".

One could interpret the meaning of that. However I think it's easy to question why a Middle Eastern man of the first century would have the complexion of a modern westerner. That's how Christ is portrayed in modernized art. Most countries like to portray deities and worshipped icons to look like them.

Then again, as you said, who knows? It could be endlessly interpreted. It sure is fun to do so.

I think there's still a distinction between religion as a believe and religion as a system built around an institution like the church. You can have good people who just need some sort of anchor in life who resort to teachings of the religious kind. On the other hand you can have huge institutions, like the church, whose sole existance depends on people believing what they say, who go out of their way to use any trick in the book to stay in power.

Wouldn't know about the meme. But I do know there's a bunch of people in the US who believe Jesus was an American.

@Megan I went to a famous museum in Kentucky. (The Arc Museum). They had displays that said the earth was 2000 years old. That dinosaurs also lived among humans and Noah saved them during the great flood.

It's no wonder people have skewed perceptions. Thousands of people visit this museum everyday. Some of them are bound to take everything at face value without questioning it.

Well I personally believe the earth is only thousands of years old instead of millions, and that dinosaurs did live with humans, but were hunted to extinction after the flood due to people seeing them as evil. Perspective is a funny thing, but we all have to remember everyone can have them and not to judge others solely on belief alone.
