The first Negima anime was boring and badly pulled off, with an exclusive ending.

The second Negima anime was oddly humoristic, with strange animation and a completely different plot. Basically, Shaft being Shaft. Except that they left out the ecchi.

The OVAs that actually follow the manga I don't want to talk about, because it's Shaft trying to be something that they aren't, and it's not exactly the best thing they've ever done. Except for the Mahou Shojou Yui episode. That was awesome.

First, the referee that was nominated for this match didn't want to do it. Then we played some awfully bad soccer through the first half that made the manager make the three allowed substitutions per match before halfime. But it didn't get any better. They were defending with 11 players. 0-0.
