Well, the thing about Mithos is that is wasn't originally such a depressing person in despair. He actually was an adorable fourteen-year-old that just wanted the best 4000 years ago. xD But yeah. What you said is part of it as well that and I tend to get the happy art because I'm generally a happy person. xD

But lesse... yeah, a lot of things can cause depression these days. Stress tends to be a pretty big factor, either as a cause, or as an effect.

I actually was wondering how our lives could be more stressful than living in the wilderness when someone in my Environmental Ethics class said life is more stressful here in the US than it was in the village in Liberia he grew up in, then I remembered that our conveniences allow us to do more mental work, and more mental work means more mental stress.
