I just go by the name most countries in the world use to name it, just football XD

It's just called soccer in countries where American Football or Ausralian Football are big.

Well.. how did he expect his parents to react? Especially the fact that he basically manipulated them and there wasn't any turning back at that point because they were already on the plane.

And emailing them beside him? That's just lame. What? He can't talk about it like a real man?


.. I kinda felt bad for him. Like.. if he did it the smart way stuff could've panned out. Even if his dad didn't accept online relationships he could've approched his parents when the relationship was just starting and say "Listen I know you're skeptical of this, but there's absolutely no harm another person can do to me over the internet. Maybe if our friendship develops over the net, I'd like to take that chance just to meet them someday to see if we get along offline. If anything I want to at least meet them as a friend because we've gotten really close and we care about each other a lot. I wanted to tell you because I want you to trust my judgement, and I want you to support my decision. I understand if you are worried for me but I'd like you to meet her, too, so that you can understand my point of view. You're my parents and I want to confide in you, and I hope you can continue to be people I can go to if I need anything and know that you'll always respect my feelings."
