Whoa... again, I'm shocked by these time zones.... New Zeeland ey? Here, I waded through snow to get to the bus stop this morning. And I missed the bus!

My summer break is about 2 months too.
 
Yep, NZ. =O Snow!!! I haven't actually seen proper snow yet. That sucks missing the bus though.

You've never seen snow? Whoa again... well, I guess things are like that on the other side of Earth. When I was little, I almost drowned in a fully nature-made heap of snow in our garden. My brother should have rescued me, but I was covered, so he couldn't see me... ^^
Snow makes us troubled (in Scandinavia) in another way these days. We're getting lesser and lesser each year (or so we imagine ourselves). People think it's because of the climate change.
Well, I've only seen a desert once, and that was on a vacation down on the Canary Islands ^^
 
Well, I wouldn't say it's limited to New Zealand. I've only seen snow twice, and each time it was only an inch or so. It just doesn't get gold enough here :x

Well, technically I could just drive or fly down to one of the mountain ranges but I haven't really gotten the chance to. There is snow, it's just I live in a part of New Zealand that doesn't get any. xD

It probably is. If the global temperature's continually rising and causing us to have warmer winters, snow will be less likely to form. And that... isn't such a good thing at all.

And hello high sea levels. And good-bye Sahara, it's unbearable as it is but in the future..... no more life there.
 
My summer break comes to end on the 7th. Here comes college. Hahah.

I haven't even gone away yet. We're going to Christchurch on the 1st and coming back on the 5th. Should be...interesting.

edit - Damn wrong page...Alex haven't you seen snow? I went up to Ruapehu last year, the snow was fun.
 
You're lucky starting after me.. at the NORMAL time. I hate how my school starts a week ahead of everyone else. But at least I get an extra week's holiday in July.

Is Scots like the only college that does that or something? Wow, must be tough. But atleast you're not bored...I'm pretty sure I've spent heaps of time staring into space these holidays. xD

Pretty much. Along with a few other private schools in Wellington.
I've been bored all holiday as well, I actually want to go back to school for once. 8 weeks of holidays, even though relaxing after exams is a bit too much for me without going away anywhere.
 
I only get two and a half months; I get out in May and get back early August.
It's because of the mild weather here; it's too hot for school by June.
 
I get three months, then back to school and the usual holidays. It's better compared to last year when we only got two months off.
 
I only get Two months, if not less for summer break.
 
I don't think my next day off is until President's Day @_@
Well, Easter falls in the middle of the week, so I can look forward to a very long Easter Break. <3
 
Sometimes our school has Teacher's In Session Days. It's weird. They're days when the teachers have to go to classes instead of us, so we get the day or two off.
 
I get those at my school sometimes as well. They're called "Teacher Planning Days"
Because I go to a private school, we might even get a "Diocesan Planning Day" for the Church. These always happen to be the same day public schools get out too...>.>

XD I changed because I didn't really like the other one. I had my previous theme for..a month. :x
