EDIT// This post is 1337. Seriously.

Yeaaah...

Duly noted. And it does seem kinda body-sprayish, doesn't it? They look the same when they're melting (or sublimating if you prefer)/being sprayed. I think they smell the same, too...

Body spray is also cold too... fresh out of the... whatever it's in. Like, whenever I press the top of body spray softly, it feels much colder than pressing it fully. o_o

Cesium blows up real nice in water. A single gram of it will destroy a procelain bathtub filled with water, and send some nice shrapnel everywhere, too. I think.

I believe the sound effect is "Ka-bloosh!"
Francium is a heap more reactive and hence more fun.

Sodium is a much more common element used in that experiment anyway - ain't as reactive.
I wonder when they're going to run out of things to "bust." How many myths can there be? XD
Well it ain't just myths they bust, but also common misconceptions that can be proven/unproven by science.

You'll know they're starting to run out when they tackle something like global warming or the theory of evolution :P
did you all know that if you flush more than a pound of dry ice down a toilet it'll explode the toilet?
(I saw that on CSI)
Are you sure that's true? It is a TV show we're talking about here :P

Dry Ice Bomb

Dry ice is solid carbon dioxide. At normal atmospheric pressure and temperature it sublimates (changes directly from a solid to a gas), resulting in a tremendous increase in volume. So what happens if you put dry ice in a closed container? Pressure quickly builds up and the container explodes. Dry ice is available for purchase at some large supermarkets or you may be able to ask for it at ice cream shops. (They use it to ship the ice cream.) A few pounds of dry ice will make several bombs.
do not do this. It's very dangerous.

Hope that explains it...

My brother tried making a dry ice bomb before. Luckily he is too idiotic to know that water ice is NOT the same as frozen carbon dioxide. Im surprised people don't know that dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide. o.o; Then again I am the biggest nerd you will ever meet but I am actually semi popular at school. Strange o.o;

Ice can be pretty terrible to mess with too. Ice and salt are one horrible combination. One of my friends actually believed that ice and salt would do nothing to you, so he stupidly put salt on the back of his hand and put ice on it. Well...now he has a giant burn on the back or his hand.

Oo you can get a burn from salt and ice… that's smarts xD

On a side note… Amachi are you paired with drummershuff an sammi? o.o

Sounds awful, ;_;
I didn't know that could happen either. XD
The only thing I knew salt could do is:

Put out your tongue, put salt on it.
Leave your tongue hanging out of your mouth.
You run out of saliva and your tongue is dry until you stick it back in your mouth. XD

I've done that before. I feels very strange. o_O; I was like ":P Oh my god!" XD

Haha, Tot it worked, it was an odd feeling, its kind of logical that it would happen tho =]

I don't think I'd want to try that. XD; I love salt just... not that much. :3

I like it when things are a little salty but I would never just pour salt on my tongue :3

Sugar ftw! >.<
I put way too much sugar in my coffee...and everything else for that matter xD

I can't stand things that are too sweet. I do however love salty things. I love to smother most of my food in salt. It's very unhealthy, but I can't resist. XD;

Sugar pwns man >.< Everybody who tries my coffee says its too sweet, I say its not sweet enough >:

I rather ruined my 'sweet tooth' when I ate 30 raw sugar packets at one time (it was a dare and I got 20 bucks out of it) now I can't eat more than a whole hershey bar without my teeth going nuts.
I usually have my tea (and as rare as I have it, coffee) with 2 creams and 2 sugars.

Today I had roughly five glasses of soda, cake, some candy, part of a gigantic chocolate chip cookie with ice cream, and a Mocha Frapuccino. To say I have a sweet tooth would be an understatement. I also like sweet stuff in tandem with salty stuff, like pretzel sticks dipped in chocolate. Those are > everything.

Too much sugar on some things tastes bad... though, I prefer other stuff... not so sweet, such as salt and vinegar chips. Mainly the vinegar part of it. XD

Same with me and my friend.

I just don't like the taste of coffee. :< My coffee is just pure sugar.

Then again, I don't drink coffee that much, so meh. o.o;
