The heart is the source of everything in one's body! 8D

XD How could you forgot we're in 08?

I'm always looking at the date, counting down the days to when my parents come back from overseas. D:

imissthem. ;;

Yeah, I knew that. -cough-

It's quite easy...
Considering I'm used of saying next year. XD

At least Christmas is this year 8D

Christmas is fun, I finally get to see my parents for a whole day. XD;

But, I got a Cloud Strife figurine along with his bike Fenrir for last christmas~

<3333!

That's just it, Christmas kinda sucks when you don't get anything. All I got was clothes. D:

I thought the point of Christmas was giving, not recieving.
I suppose.

I wonder what it is like for people in the poorer countries.
They often appreciate what's really important better than most of us.

Christmas for people living in poorer countries isn't about what they get. It is about being with there family and getting through the hard times the face together. It should be about family for everyone but the presents makes people forget what it is really about.

Yeah.

In poorer countries Christmas probably does make fmailies closer.

They might celebrate as a christian event too rather than the secular event it has turned into in most countries.

I have never done any of the Christian things. I have never been to that midnight service. My dad and his fiance went this year. I wasn't intrested at all so didn't go.

My family is only all together on Christmas. Other than that we barely see each other. I don't see why we have to get together at Christmas anyway. I won't be joining my family when I am older.

Well my dads family don't get on that well but on Christmas they act like everything is fine. I mean I haven't seen my aunt and uncle since Christmas day. I probably won't see them till their birthday.

With my mums side I enjoy going. We all get on and see each other regularly.

I treat Christmas religiously cos that's how I was raised. And even if I wasn't raised like that I would probably end up the same. The whole idea of "Christmas is just for presents" is weird to me. C'mon, it's gotta have a meaning, right? xD

Our family used to go to midnight services and such but we stopped a couple years ago. But we still have to go to church at Christmas morning, xD.

We don't treat it religiously in my family. My father resents mention of religion; my mother has some weird hybrid spirituality. My brother doesn't care. Me? *shrug* To us, it's about forced socialisation family.

My family doesn't treat it religiously, as much as my mom might claim otherwise. We haven't been to a Christmas mass in something like 6 years. We just treat it as a family holiday and a time of togetherness. :x

We used to eat lobster at Christmas every year when we lived on the Atlantic coast. n_n I miss that. Though now that we eat Cornish Hens (it's like your own personal turkey~~) I can't really complain. XD;
