I have CS2, I've tried CS3, but I didn't notice any huge difference, so I probably won't be switching over any time soon.

Ps CS3 is really really good (and after using it for so long, I get a bit iffy when using CS2)..
though I really hate all the useless software they bundle with it..imageready..photoshoot etc. Just wastes my memory D:<

I have CS nothing! Seriously, I hear all the time how great those are, must be cool to make your own creations and feel proud of your own work and such. x-x; Until I get the money/time for it, I'll stick to my requesting at the Graphics & Photography forum! :D *Stares at Chikara and Akari* Though I do like that my memory is pretty "open".

I plan on getting CS2/3 one day though.

zomg, everyone has CS[insertnumberhere] :( I only have Elements 5. I feel so lonely now. Let me just say, that Elements kinda sucks because it has no selective coloring, me thinks.

I use Photoshop Elements 6.0 the only thing I could afford :\
I have someone to mourn with. :D Yezzz..

I only have CS because my friend downloaded it and it came with a crack code.. XD

But I'm going to buy CS3 so I have an actual copy and I don't feel cheap. :<

To be quite honest If I didn't have my CS2 software right now I'd probably be using GIMP right now. It's probably the most powerful image editing software out there that's free. those of you feeling down about using elements, I would strongly suggest you try out GIMP if you haven't already. It is a great piece of software!

GIMP is pretty good for a free program. I've only tried it a few times, but it had some pretty neat functions. I still wouldn't trade in my copy of CS2 for it though.

Oh Of course not, I was merely remarking that If I did not have the access to CS2 like I do I would most likely be using GIMP. I used it as a freshman and sophomore in high school before I moved on to CS and then CS2 in the school computers.

How hard is it to work with GIMP? I've had CS2 since I started making banners, so I have no relative idea of what GIMP has to offer.

right now It'd probably be very hard for me to transition back to using gimp since I use the keyboard shortcuts in photoshop like an extension of my hand. but for the most part it's probably not that hard. you'd have to get used to having what looks like three windows open, (1 being tools, 2 being stuff like palates and layers, 3 being you document) and having separate tools for moving and resizing

Apparently GIMP is alot like Photoshop, so I've heard.. I wouldn't have a clue o.O;

I never really heard of GIMP until a friend told me about it. He used GIMP first, then I gave him a copy of my photoshop and now, I don't think he'll ever go back to GIMP. XD

Me, I use PhotoShop Elements 2.0. And PaintShopPro....... 5.
I'd love to have more new up to date stuff. But, I think what I got now is good enough for me. Sure, everyone on PC can make better banners then me, but some of the stuff I make I like so I can deal with it.

And at least you guys are able to make banners and such.... my poor laptop is..... ;.;

I end up hating everything I make after a few days, which is why I change themes two to three times a week, on average. :x Most of the time, I just take a second glance and go, Hey, I can do better, but sometimes it's just me getting tired of seeing the same old graphics attached to every post I make.

I have Paint Shop Pro 7, but I could never grasp it for some reason. XD; I'm probably too used to Photoshop, but PSP has come in handy a lot in the past, when I first started graphic designing.

I use GIMP 'cause I can't afford Photoshop. Gimp's alright, but I'm pretty sure Photoshop is better.

That's the way I am... right now I think my Yoko banner is perfect... but I think it could be better... or maybe I feel like making another Yoko banner. And that's how it is with me a lot of times with my themes, I like them, I can live with them, but I just want to go back and work on them. XD

That's how I am, like all the time~ Like, I like my signature right now, but in a few days I'm going to end up looking at it and thinking I can do better than this. Then I get all self-conscious, like, Oh, my God, am I actually going around with this banner? It's a stupid thing to think, really, but it's how I am sometimes. XD;

PC's done wonders for me, though. I used to web design and stuff for around four years until about a year ago, when I left that whole web design community. When I joined PC, though, I had a new excuse to start Photoshopping again. ^.^

My banners also look crap after a couple of days too...

Probably the longest I've lasted without changing my theme was that week... when it was like a bet to see whether I could keep my banner for a week... I lasted, but, I really don't like keeping the banners for too long. And avatars... just suck. I've always hated my avatars. XD

I haven't been able to make a decent banner in ages. Besides the one I'm using, but that only took screenshotting and editing :/

Andy: Oh god. I've made too many Yoko banners, I'm done for a while. I need more inspiration cause I've done pretty much everything I could think of ._.;

I'm in an artists block. for some reason I'm just not getting that little spark that sets me off creating. I really want it back, but for some reason I'm suddenly thinking that everything I'm currently creating is crap ;_;
