Yeah, I wanna move to a bigger place. Really I wanna move either out of state or country... but that my be my need for change.... who knows :D

Same here. As for the big house part I wouldn't want to live in one of those extremely large mansions like the celebrities, to much for me to take in.

Yeah, I agree with you; I definitely prefer a smaller, cozy house over an enormous one. My mother actually lives in a cottage that was made into a home. It's pretty sweet xD

Oh, I was talking about a bigger town! Sorry, that was my country Kentucky talk coming out. XD;;
Yeah, cozy houses are the best. I would rather spend my money and travel anyways. XD

My parents' home (and by extension mine when I'm not at school--I'm not responsible enough to move out, lol) is too big. XD It's... a really nice home, but it's just a lot of effort to maintain, both inside and outside. They want to move into some place smaller so it won't be so empty when my brother and I finally do leave the nest and they plan to retire when they next move so... yeah. We're all just too lazy to get the house ready to sell, though. 8(

I've lived in small houses my entire life. They're just ok. What I really want is one of those weird houses like this. I mean, it's a little big, but hey, it's not huge or anything. Plus, the actual house is amazing. I wish I could live there now. 8)

Seeing as I'm a minor, I live in my parents' house. It's pretty decent, not too big or too small, and it's in the middle of one of the biggest cities in Ireland, so I'm able to reach just about any shop within twenty minutes. Of course, my parents decided to show off how rich they are by buying a four story villa in Portugal, which, for me, is just too big. I love where I live and I most definitely wouldn't change it for the world.

Wow, this is the first time I've posted in the Daily Chit-Chat thread in ages.

i wish i lived in my own house, but once i turn 18 and out of high school, i'll leave either by my own will or getting kicked out by my momXD

On that topic, I think my parents will allow me to stay in their house after I turn eighteen so long as I go to university, which I will. However, if for some unforseen reason I end up not getting third level education, my parents will practically disown me.

My house is a pretty standard size, it's big enough for me and my family. My parents always complain they want a bigger house, but I'm content with where we are. I don't know what we would need the extra room for.

Since I'm going to a junior college first, I'm living at home those 2 years. Then after that I am on my own \o/

I've trying to get out on my own, but it is hard. Gaining financial freedom is one of the hardest things you will ever do. I'm still trying. But I've been going to college, I've just decided to take a year off this coming year to figure out what I want to do.

Im going to college in my next year of school and guess what I am only in the 10th, go ahead and applaud, not really.

Ew school.

I finally managed to get school done and over yesterday. So now, more school for me. \o/

Now I have to find a job.. XD;

I'm done school, too (for the summer, I forgot to add. I still have two more years left of high school). :D I have a job, but sadly, I can't pick up any more shifts for the summer, as my boss is giving them to the staff who are in university as a way to help them save up. It's understandable, so I don't mind entirely.

I've been working there for a year and a half and I'm still the baby, though. ._.

I'll probably be out of the house by 18, most likely in a small apartment. (Hopefully near Florida University in particular) :x As I've said numerous times, I'm still "in" school, I still have my online courses this summer. Oh well, easy anyway. :D No job though, may go work for the pool. (As Geoff said in a chat, I need money to buy TWEWY) XD Maybe go work for Publix. Gah, I don't know, I need to carefully manage my time I fill this summer. It's already packed as is. =/

I don't really want to rain on your parade, but it'll be hard to get out of the house if you don't have a job, right? You should start looking for one as soon as possible and hold onto it for as long as you can, cause the older you get, the harder it is to find work. It's annoying, since I've applied at at least 15 places now, and only one has contacted me since then, and that went nowhere anyway.

I NEED MONEY DAMMIT. and something to do ^^;

Yeah, my brother has been working at the library since he was what, Fourteen? He's going to College soon; the parents still had to pay for it. Money is difficult, it works in strange ways. XD

You're not raining on it at all, I said probably, not definitely. XD That's a good point, dad support is big with me though, eh relying on him would be a bummer anyway. I don't know, just have to wait and see what happens down the road. =/ Who knows. *shrug* My mom is severely overprotective anyway now that I think about it. T~T Doubt she'd let me be on my own that early anyway. And it's not really the problem with getting the job, it's the time to do the job. My plate is full as I said. XD

Don't be so eager to leave the house when you're 18, mostly because some people I've known have down that and had financial problems and moved back into their parental's house

My dad has to work his butt off to support our family. Problems financial wise is a pain in the neck. So don't get ahead of yourself. Take the time to think through how you'd work it out, and then spread your wings. Or else, you could end up living in your parents' basement for the rest of your life.
