...

No, no I do not have any friends named that. That's a rather interesting name, not one I've ever actually heard given before!
lol XD

It's interesting but weird. So I sometimes have people call me Nick, and I've had teachers think it was a typo or me playing a joke XD

Man. You know what makes me feel old? I can remember one of my aunts once saying "I'm not sure if you remember VHS too well, you were pretty young..." ...when that's all I knew for like half of my life. D:

You'd think the situation would be reversed and you'd need to tell your older relatives that VHS isn't used anymore, heh. My parents still can't even properly use a VHS player whereas I was escaping from my crib as a two-year-old to play Thomas the Tank Engine tapes for myself <_<

Most people middle-aged and over that I know still use VHS, in fact. It's pretty scary, though I'll always need a working VHS because there are tons of videos of me as a little kid that I have no other way of watching unless I finally find a way to digitally capture that stuff. My DVR is actually supposed to be able to do that sort of thing but the Macrovision protection on it is so insanely strict that it won't even let me copy home movies.

Floppy discs, that makes me nostalgic.

not as much as this ear**** but whatever.

Man, they just had to put a picture of Bill Nye with that for the extra nostalgia trip. He's kind of an angry old man now, which just makes me yearn for the past even more, heh.

Though I'm pretty sure that you can still hear dial-up sounds if you call a fax machine's number over a telephone line. I should try that sometime.

@Charizard★: Nature is a pretty name! I don't think it's bad!
I don't want it to be a pretty name, I want it to be a masculine name D: lol

But, it's frustrating when others think it's in a different language and they try to pronounce it differently :/

Most of my relatives don't even know how to use a VHS player. XD A lot of them are adults who just don't interact with technology too much, so that sort of thing can be a little beyond them at times. I know my mom can't use a DVD player and barely knows how to use a VHS player.

Aww, was about to suggest that but it seems like it would do you no good. I know I still have a few tapes around here...somewhere, of some old Digimon Tamers episodes that I had recorded. I want to go dig them out now because I also had a lot of Fox Kids bumpers and oh my god I just realized Tamers is ten years old this year I feel old.

Just so everyone knows... Bill Nye is still played at my school...

Bill Nye was always incredible. I hope that schoolchildren have to watch him FOREVER. These days I only ever see him as a pundit for science issues on news programs and he's kind of a grump.

He is? I thought he was a fun loving guy ;;

Well, at my school there's a rumor that he died and some girl actually cried from hearing that o.O

I feel like I've missed out, heard of but never seen Bill Nye. -.-
Are you serious!? :0

Watch this and tell me you LOVE it:

It's so catchy it gets stuck in your head. *remembers back to when I was a kid getting up early to watch this*

GameFAQS is a crapsack forum/site with some good forums, namely B/W trading. However, they have "karma", so you have to stay a certain amount of days, years even, to get unlimited posting.

I prefer it to here on trading, since it gets more activity while here is more lax and lazy, GameFAQS is crazy.

Also, here's a new tidbit I found out.

In Black and White, the first three Pokemon you find in the wild are a Cat, Rat, and a Dog.

Tom and Jerry anyone?

I always liked Beakman when I was little, but I never really watched Bill Nye. I found Beakman more fun and interesting.

I pity the people who just aren't cool enough to remember Beakman's World.

I knew we were friends for a reason.
