I've never played any portal game. :/ Shun the heathen, I know. *hides in a corner*

It's okay, neither have I. :/ I keep hearing about it, especially now that Portal 2's come out but I've never really looked into it myself.

Maaaaybe I'll try it one day when I have the funds since it does sound pretty interesting.

You people all disappoint me. Portal is a must-play for anyone that considers themselves even the least bit a gamer. The gameplay is fresh and different from pretty much anything else, you need to think through a lot of tough puzzles, and the humor and writing is some of the best out there. The first game's only like two hours long and there's a demo on Steam, so there's no reason not to at least give it a try. :(

Some of us prefer to play the PC games we've been playing for years because they have near-infinite replayability (Sim City 2k, 3k and 4; Civilization II, III, and IV). (b'-')b

I also had found that my equipment isn't responsive enough for Portal as I started getting further along in the game. :x

I never play games on the computer really, except for an emulator for my FFTA LP, but that's about it. I prefer games on portable consoles much more.
/waits for hate comments

^ This. Honestly, to me the computer is not a gaming platform but a work platform/goofing off platform. I have, what, two computer games I play with any regularity? And when I say regularity I mean I've played them at least once in the last three years.

I don't have a PS3 or a 360, nor do I plan to get one. xD;
At the end of this year, I'll be getting a 3DS, which is fine with me.
I prefer Nintendo anyway. : >
My computer is barely able to play Maple Story, so I don't think it'll be able to run Portal anyway, so yeah. xD;

I have the biggest urge to install Windows on my Mac and get some Age of Empires up in this place... I wanna dominate some civilizations once again!

Only gaming done by me on the computer these days are "Pokemon's Dream World" and "Kingdom of Loathing".

Have done "Twilight Heroes" & "Neopets" in the recent past. By far the most time spent computer gaming was when Windows '98 was what 'every' computer had. "DOOM". Those were the days. Pixellated gore! Chicken mode ON! IDSPSPPD! IDDQD!

Shame one of my favorite computer games is around my age: NUMBER MUNCHERS
Now that was education.

I don't play computer games, tbh. They bore me. xD
I'm weird. o.o

Well, I suppose I can call it a work platform/goofing off platform that brutally destroys all other gaming platforms.
I have an ancient game that I got one time. I tried to install it, but DirectX gave me crap that I couldn't run it. I dunno if my PC can do gaming.

On the other hand, I won a tier five membership. I am a tier five member. I am deciding who to give it to, but I have a good idea who.
GIVE IT TO ME, GIVE IT TO ME SO I CAN HAVE MENTAL SATISFACTION FOR RECIEAVING A VIRTUAL TIER WHATEVER MEMBERSHIP STATUS AND I'LL BE UBER PWNZOR!!

tldr: Congratulations.

You won?! :@ I got an emblem that taunts my every second, the easter bunney was too much for me ;'(. I'll get it one day though.

Try adjusting your computer settings, you go start and then right click on computer, properties, go advanced settings and click the box where it says adjust computer settings for best performance. It frees up heaps of RAM and makes your computer hella faster (I did it myself).

Though if you don't like looking at Windows 98 Themes then you can just click the box to allow Aero themes or whatever system you're running.

My computer for some reason can handle games easy, but it can't handle Photoshop 5 and After Effects 5 and Sony Vegas at the same time or one with another :( It makes me sad when I'm in my designing mood.

But, I GOT MY VICTINI FINALLY, which really brightened my day, until that bunny brought it down to the ground :@

I'm a HUGE Zelda fan, but instead of releasing a remake (as opposed to Nintendo's usual love of recycling franchises), they should work on something different. I'm sure they have enough manpower for new 3D Zelda! That being said, I will still probably buy it.

Speaking of that Easter contest, it was ****ing brutal. Nevertheless, I scored a Tier 5 out of it, so I'm no longer complaining! =)

That's not weird at all. If you just meant PC games, that is. I only play Nintendo. That may be weirder. I just don't like most of the games on the other consoles. The last X-Box game I played was Gears of War *yawn*, and the last PS game was FF13, which was just funny. Final Fantasy is so overrated~ but I understand why people like it all the same.

Final Fantasy may be overrated, but heck its one of the best game series out there.

I can agree to a small degree. The handheld Tactics Advance series and Crystal Chronicles are just... magnificent. The 8-Bit one is pretty fun, too! In essence, I prefer the spin-offs to the console series. I should have mentioned that. Anyway, I was so surprised by how many people dislike CC. I thought it was awesome how they tried something different (at the time) from their usual, time-tested combat system.
