I do enjoy poptart cats, yes. Especially shiny ones that Nyan. :V
I've been doing horrid in maths this year, so I was surprised when I got a 72% on my most recent one. xD;

I sit next to a perfectionist at school.
One thing that annoys me is that he keeps trying to convince me when I already agree with him.

LOL I would freak out anytime I got below a 95 on a math test back in high school.

Then I entered college, and soon learned to be perfectly happy with an 85... and then as I got into grad school 75 was suddenly good enough :P

Once you get into college, your biggest worry was to get above a 70 in all of your classes, because that's a passing grade. High school is nothing like college.

God I'm dreading college now. I need to learn how to study D:

I freak out if I get anything lower than a 80. D:

The scholarship I am trying to get requires a 3.25 GPA through the entire year if I want to renew it for the next year. Worrying only about getting a 70 or above sounds like a luxury.

During my first two years of high school, I didn't care what scores I got on my test, as long as they didn't go below a 60. I was satisfied that I got a 63 on most of my math tests, but it was affecting my grade so much, I was failing. O_o Learned my lesson right there.

I'm decent in high school right now. All A's except for 2 B's. All honors except for two classes, AP Euro and English II (Since the class is filled up >:I) and I just took the AP test today.....fail.

People have such high standards, lol. It's alright not to be perfect in school. x)

In the end though you aren't working for them, you're working for you. They want you to do well but I just don't think it's worth aiming unrealistically (sometimes anyway) high for no reason other than someone told you to. =/

I don't think I've heard that term before. I could Google it but that'd involve opening up a new tab, lol. What does it mean, exactly? /lazy

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valedictorian

Valedictorian is an academic title conferred upon the highest ranked student among those graduating from an educational institution. The term is an anglicized derivation of the Latin vale dicere ("to say farewell"), historically rooted in the valedictorian's traditional role as the final speaker at the graduation ceremony. The valedictory address generally is considered a final farewell to classmates, before they disperse to pursue their individual paths after graduating. The title of class valedictorian is common in educational institutions in the Philippines, Canada and the United States, while its equivalent in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Iceland, and Scotland is dux. Its equivalent in France is "Major de promotion".

Yeah Sadly I'm only Salutatorian. :(

Seems like something a smart person would be able to achieve.

I'll stick to being in the top 10% of my class (b'-')b

I doubt I'll be able to reach that kind of thing. I've met my match in high school so I'm not the smartest anymore, but I've become to lax while doing so :/ God, I've become to lazy.
