So yea, in about 2 hours I was able to download 6 episodes of Kamen Rider Agito. I'll marathon them all tomorrow as soon as school is over :D

Someone should make a club for Kamen Rider, imo. :D

Lain with magical girls.

And i see that Jack, i like the Clam one a bit better though. It's just promo art so it obviously won't look so good. I hope the animation does the series justice.

w00t! Post about it when you finish an episode or two, always interested in hearing opinions from newbies to the genre.

I'm not the ex-AA but I'll chirp in anyways:

It's because a lot of users create clubs for small things and they either turn out to be spamfests or clubs that aren't appropriate which just clutter up the section.

I know it isn't the best reason, but I gave it a try ;;

Kind of a far cry from my day when I was creating clubs for individual characters in various series and things like that :p All clubs regardless of the narrowness of their scope were generally allowed and their relevance/spamminess was judged later on a case-by-case basis, but as a former S-Mod I suppose I'm given to blabbing on about policy but I want to set a good example for regular members who don't have a say and so I'll use the proper venue for my opinion, not the DCC :p

You guys used to have Social Groups, didn't you? Why did that go away?

I will XD

@Kaga:
Social Groups went away because nobody really used them so they took them out. Or something like that anyways.

I check other clubs daily to see if the club was made. ;_;

Pfft, Madoka still beats all for me. ;_;;

It's out of my hands now, Lily T_T

I thought the Blood+ English dub was actually kind of decent, but it probably didn't help that they only had a few actors playing most of the major roles (seriously, as much as I like Crispin Freeman, it's a bit much to have him in three places at once). The real issue with that anime was its horridly slow pacing; it took 52 episodes to do what most other anime would do in 26.

While I'm at it, the CLAMP redesign of Saya bears an odd resemblance to Nina Einstein circa season 1 of Code Geass. Then again, that might just be me.

Back then and even now I'm still a huge proponent of two and even four cour series, but now that you mention it, by the time I quit it felt like almost nothing had happened since the show began.

NO! Someone find a table made of solid silver and carve the legs down into stakes. CLAMP Saya looks ever so slightly like Hanekawa Tsubasa to me, although I'm probably crazy.

You should watch Ryuki one day! From what I hear from people who have seen both, it's basically Madoka over 50 episodes!

Madoka has 50 episodes, it's just that the last 38 are a charming alternate universe slice-of-life series that hasn't been made yet.

I think a lot of shows just aren't really suited for four courses, though that's the sort of show that I like the best. I don't know why, but it feels nice watching a good 50ish episode series, kind of sucks that it doesn't happen too much in anime these days. I guess it depends on the show, I've found something like the original Fullmetal Alchemist series was able to handle that length a lot better than Blood+. (coincidentally, they all shared the same time)

I look forward to them! There are a lot of episodes like that in Ryuki, especially in the middle, and then there are like two alternate world stories that can be pretty darn confusing.

Hidamari Madoka.

Please Shinbo, don't do it.
There's an entire legion of fanartists that have already beaten Shinbo to it, if a cursory glance of Danbooru is anything to go by. You can certainly find more if you're willing to delve through Pixiv for a while.

While I'm at it, I would play the hell out of this game if it really existed; same would go for this one.

Back from shooting a 22 at the shooting range. :D

Guns?

Uh Oh. *prepares flame shield*

I don't like guns.

*shoots out fire* I love guns, I shot at 50 and 100 yards. I also hunt deer, squirrel and I want to try turkey. You could call me a bad person but without hunters many deer would die from starvation due to overpopulation.

that is so true, it's part of nature to kill animals for food only time it's really bad to hunt is one is doing it only for fun and it's going extinct...
I have never hunted...I can't push myself to kill any big animal...

Don't listen to this person, Shinbo. If you won't give us a fourth season of Zetsubou-Sensei, DO THIIIIIIIS!

Yeah, not every series can be that length, but most of my very favorite anime were at least 26 episodes. Type A anime fan that I am*, the longer narratives and extra time for characterization are often what allows a show to become a favorite to me, so while I love plenty of 12-episode series, I generally miss any anime trend whose decline coincided with the rise of moe, light novel adaptations, etc. on principle :p

*yes, I know this is a false dichotomy.

CLAMP's trademark slightly-insectoid character design seems to be slightly toned down in that image of Saya, otherwise I would have likely seen a CLAMP character first myself. However, when CLAMP collaborates with character designers outside of their circle, they do a pretty good job of integrating a character designer's work into their own general aesthetic, as they did with Code Geass when they hired the guy who did Gun X Sword's characters.

I've more than had my fill of Madoka slice-of-life through fanartists, but something in me still wants to see it in motion with sky-high production quality.

No no no, I just hate guns in general. I'm sure we can find another way to balance the ecosystem, we've been doing it for thousands of years.

Also, Tsunayoshi Sawada won't get shot at in...the Varia arc was it?

Ah. Not that bad. we do it for fun and for the food. It's fun to shoot a gun and you get a fun rush when you're about to kill one but we do enjoy the meat. :D

You just hate guns? We've been hunting for thousands of year. Sense the beginning of time. It's what animals are for.

It's the same for me. I feel that, if a series can pace its story well enough, a 50ish episode run will work better for me. I also have this odd belief that any series allowed to air 51 episodes within 52 weeks is either really awesome or really popular since most shows 51 is the absolute maximum a show is allowed in 52 weeks 99% of the time. I miss the late 90s, great time for anime right there. XD

...I imagine anyone who would identify as a B has some issues they need to work out!
